What was it about your exwife that made you marry her out of all the many possibilities?
    Co-dependent?
    Super empath?
Family wealth/connections to help with your career?
Lack of wealth/connections and guaranteed to piss off Mummy?
Or was it just timing – she was the one who happened to be your primary at the time you decided you needed the ring for the “cred” and all benefits that come with it?

      Timing and super empath.

HG, you were at one pointed married. Why did you get married? Yes, fuel, I know. But marriage? What was it about your ex that made you marry her as opposed to keeping her in your fuel harem with all the others?
Is this a subject for a future article?

The maintenance of the façade and its importance in assisting my career. As King George declared in The Madness of King George “a man should marry, what what” and as Alec Baldwin’s character, Captain Ellarby, in The Departed stated “Marriage is an important part of getting ahead. It lets people know you’re not a homo. A married guy seems more stable. People see the ring, they think ‘at least somebody can stand the son of a bitch.’ Ladies see the ring, they know immediately that you must have some cash, and your cock must work.”

        Thanks for the clarification!
What about being divorced, then? Are you at a high enough point in your career now where it doesn’t matter? Or maybe the fuel you get from your many sources (“poor HG abused by horrible ex bitch… I will be the one to show him that he CAN find true love and make him want to get married again… to ME!”) outweigh the associations (homo, etc) that come with lack of ring?
PS is your ex still being made to pay for the divorce?

        1. malignnarc says:

Do you mean does it matter that I am divorced career wise? No it doesn’t matter, the credibility achieved through marriage served its purpose to get me where I needed to be so divorce does not pose a problem. Naturally I use the circumstances along the lines that you detail.
Who said I no longer wear the ring?
          Yes she is.

    I don’t think I have this one?

I appreciate your irony, i.e. the Tudors. Coupled with your copious creative output and piercing insights, you remind me of a modern-day Aquinas or even more so, Spinoza. Surely the keys to the kingdom will be yours for the asking; and just as surely, he now knows that “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.”

    1. malignnarc says:

And I appreciate your comments. Ahh, Spinoza, the Prince of Philosophers. His masterpiece was Ethics which may seem an odd thing to link with me but he did write
“″the infant believes that it is by free will that it seeks the breast; the angry boy believes that by free will he wishes vengeance; the timid man thinks it is with free will he seeks flight; the drunkard believes that by a free command of his mind he speaks the things which when sober he wishes he had left unsaid. … All believe that they speak by a free command of the mind, whilst, in truth, they have no power to restrain the impulse which they have to speak.″
He stated that morality and ethical judgement are based on an illusion and thus that is entirely apt.

All these come from the emanations of the transcendent hand, unyielding, immanent, yet unseen by all but the most discerning, for l’emozione non ha voce. But I think you have seen…and heard.

What is this one about? Triggers? Things which set the Ns off?

    1. malignnarc says:

      Things you ought to avoid.

I also already have it 😃
