The narcissist (specifically the one who bore me from her body) wields money like a weapon. “I’m paying for your parochial school education, you OWE ME better grades than this” (not that I ever asked for a parochial school education). “I financially supported you while you were in school and never asked you to pay me back…you’d think you would OFFER to pay be back”. “I could have been getting my hair and nails done every week but I paid for your piano lessons instead” (lessons I took as a child because she wanted me to). Or my personal favorite, “You want money for a new spring wardrobe, get rid of that boy I don’t like.”
