I met my narcissist on match .com I am a lesbian. I always had to meet her at her 25 bed critical care hospital. She is the Ceo, always bragging about her awards she won. She is always having a procedures done to maintain her beauty. And constant lies, I caught her telling me She had an Md. When she had an Phd. That one was extremely shocking. We dated for a year. We were both in love. I didn’t confront her on her lies because I only saw her once a month, ( a long distance relationship) and didn’t want to waste our precious time together arguing. I had suddenly had to go into the hospital for a procedure, and had to tell her I wouldn’t be able to spend the weekend together. When I got out of the hospital I read an e mail from her. It said she was going to work on her relationship with her husband, after all she had been married 35 years. And that she had 4 grown children.
I didn’t know she was married with 4 grown children, or that she was bisexual. Two months after the break up she called me wanting to be friends. I had asked her about her other life? The lies? And why she used me? she didn’t understand where my anger was coming from? How do you get rid of incurable anger, as a result from a narcissists lies, and deceptions? Your insight into being a narcissist, and sharing it is incredible!

Hello Kathleen, thank you for your post and your kind comments. Your anger at such a level of deception is common and understandable. This has left you mired and swamped in the emotional sea which I have mentioned many times before. You should read the three post discard battles which cover the emotional sea in the first one, trying to cross the emotional sea in the second (the battle of head versus heart) and then reaching the other side and deciding how you will proceed (defensive/offensive) thereafter. You will find this sums up the position and what lies in store rather neatly. You need to exorcise the emotion (have a look at Exorcism) but also you need to focus on the understanding as this will reduce your emotional state and allow you to progress. Read to understand, understand to be free. There is plenty of material on the blog and in my various books which will enable you to purge the anger. It will take you time but this is a way of doing it.

Every time I try to order one of your books (I’d love to have them all by now), it takes me to Amazon, which is fine, but all it let’s me do (unless I’m missing something) is order for Kindle this or Kindle that. Where else can I go to order your books (preferably e-books) for my laptop, which doesn’t happen to be a Kindle?
