The first no contact the empath did try,
Was to certain dire narcs to counter their lies,
The hoovers they used to lure them back in,
But the empath was not fooled by that oh so false grin,

No contact ends the misery.
The empath stayed focussed and then blocked the ‘phone,
And kept the narc from their email, their messages and home,
They studied hard and they all read HG,
So they understood that his works would give liberty,

No contact will set you free.
And so the defences were built, both firm and high,
The empath knew not to laugh, smile, shout or cry,
Thus starved of the fuel and feeling beat,
The wounded narc withdrew and beat a retreat,

No contact will secure your destiny

I read your book on no contact and took some of the measures you suggested with the exception of social media. I had the ex and the NS blocked and continued on with life. I recently discovered that the NS has a second Facebook page and showed up as a friend suggestion. I may be paranoid in thinking she watches my page but I should have taken heed to your instructions and deleted my page altogether. Thanks for you insight through books and this blog!!

Just my opinion, you can’t go NC, without having contact with HG! He’s the only one who saved me from days, weeks and months of torturous pain. Learning the reasons for going NC has made my life so much easier. I will say though, I do wish at times that I had found this site a year earlier, because then I would’ve escaped instead of being discarded. I guess one good thing coming from being discarded though, is the fact that he hasn’t hoovered me during the entire 9 months since (because it ended the way he wanted it to); whereas, had I escaped, I think he would have made it much more difficult on me to get away.

HG~ I was well on my way to recovery, but finding your site has helped to seal the deal, so Thank You for that! I do have a question and I’m sure only you have the answer. After a year of no contact, my greater continues to attempt contact. I almost think the “no contact” has caused him to romanticize our history together and he mistakes the yearning feeling he has as love. He has never had anyone before me deny him so I think he now sees it as a challenge. Would I be better off replying with a short, apathetic response? Which one is worse for your kind- being ignored or treated as though you no longer matter? Thank You in advance for what I’m sure will be the perfect answer!
Hello Lolo, you are best continuing to ignore him as ultimately this will lessen the risk of a hoover by reducing the risk of a Hoover Trigger and also by raising the bar on the Hoover Execution Criteria.

This was filmed at Gavin Maloof’s home, It was across the street from my house. We went there for the day. I have good stories from this day.
I met Lil Wayne this year in Philadelphia….shady group for shizzle.

Yep Suge Knight was there and he hugged me to take the pics. Static Major was very cool and I was disturbed he died. He was so cool and polite to my kids. I have a bunch of pics and with my son at the mic. Gavin Maloof was one of the owner of the Palms. I use to run with these boys and Joe and I would always hang out.
You know the Maloof family Ah Oh? They are Lebanese.
And Irish. Now I would say the mom is ultra Matrinarc. I have been to many of their parties. Joe was always my favorite.
Joe always admired my legs. My youngest would love to watch the girls go in and out of Gavin’s house. These boys always treated me with respect and I had many good times with them.
When you see a narc after couple months of No contacts, whats the effective way to attract them back? being nice & Jolly like nothing happen or being protective as in Hi and bye?. Why? Sometime its just out of mind self-satisfaction you want things to go in your way.
If you want to bring about a hoover Romeo, you need to consider where you are in the dynamic. Did you escape or were you discarded? Is there a new primary source? Where is the narc at with that relationship? Work those things out and also read the article How To Make Him Hoover (if you really want to try).
Love this! So very true HG. The very best advice I learned from you. I might have been reeled back in. I deleted emails. I left the music company he used and went to another. I deleted his info from my phone. I never regretted meeting him. He showed me what I didn’t know, many times.
When I was done I was done. I told him if he pushed me to hard I would no longer be around. He didn’t take me seriously.
