My nex went on a benign rant in the car during random bronze period about “others” using indeed. How it really meant in deed (I tuned out:) but something like plebes use it incorrectly as it is for legal deed only. Yada yada. This wasn’t even word salad or aimed at me. It was pontificating about the idiot masses misuse of indeed. We got to our destination. He spoke. Within 5 minutes he said “indeed” to a group he was sounding off to about who knows what. He actually laughed at his own hypocrisy later in the car upon departure. HE can laugh at himself if HE wills it. Indeed.

  2. alissa says:

what about narcs that claim to have a close relationship with god? Now that I can laugh at. The ones with the crosses all over their house and the bibles?

  3. Christina says:

Ha! My narc also uses “Indeed” all the time. Hmmmm….. 🙂

  4. zany says:

I must ask H.G. Tudor ..,is there certain words or phrases your kind use? find it rather spooky that my narc would say the word ‘indeed’ rather often as well as your self. It may just be an ironic coincidence, but I’ve other words used frequently by them also ,can’t think of the others off hand though.

    1. HG Tudor says:

      Indeed there are Zany.

    2. Matilda says:

      Hi Zany,

Here, you will come across “I am obliged”, “by all means”, a lot of “Thank you” and “You are welcome”, and “duly noted” for topic suggestions. 🙂

Generally speaking, they will use words like “absolutely”, “definitely” or “clearly”. Words that are meant to communicate assertiveness and intellectual superiority: you are not supposed to challenge what they say. Words are weapons. Indeed. 😀

      1. Love says:

Yes and they even say them in different languages 😁

  5. zany says:

I had remet mine on social media, via good ol’ Facebook. We had had class back in middle school, but now here we were ..,’facebook’ friends , which took a moment for me to friend him any way since I was very skittish of men ..,and uh …would have to say, that I still am after dealing with his mess.
Anyhow, neither him nor I would seldom post or comment. But one day his post was something about him inferring of his self being amongst or witnessing to something akin of a Jerry springer show …to which I was the only one to have commented with a ‘LOL.’ Well, honestly I wasn’t trying to laugh at him but was just laughing with him at what I thought was just a joke. Looking back, I truly wondered if this had insulted him, and was what spurred him into commencing me as a target? I had gotten a message quickly after it . ..and then OUR little show really did begin 🙂 . . .I’ll never forget that show.

  6. Snow White says:

When I look back I can see the times my ex thought I was laughing at her. But it was her perspective. She was hearing something completely different. It was her mother’s voice not mine. She heard all the criticisms from her childhood.
This is an area that I have zero guilt. I had already thought that she was insecure so I would have never said anything along the lines that would have hurt her. I tried to help her, not hurt her.

  7. Christina says:

At one point I laughed at him on the phone because he was of course telling me another one of his excuses about doing what he always seemed to do that hurt me. He hung up on me. A while ago when I did talk to him about him sharing things with his flying monkey and her laughing about it, he indicated that I laughed at him at some point along time ago. I explained to him why I laughed and he of course denied his excusing and said I was full of it.

It really must have gotten under his skin I guess. No more contact for me though.

  8. Love says:

Oh so when he was choking me and I laughed thinking it was in fun, he misinterpreted it as me laughing at him?

    1. HG Tudor says:

How did you laugh if he was choking you?

      1. Love says:

        With gasps

      2. Love says:

Now you made me realize he wasn’t doing it that hard and I just vilified him. I’m sorry Ex Narc.

  9. Stringbean Jean says:

Laugh at me though and it’s just a joke ‘you’re so sensitive’
Can give it but can’t it. Double standards, always.

If your kind/my kind are flip sides of the same coin, when I recall certain memories I can visualise a rather comedic ‘reframe’ of the event. A bit like viewing it through one of those snap chat filters you see a lot of. Been playing around with that, fun times!
Does that work for your kind HG, out of interest? For example, remembering an unpleasant past event with mother but placing her outside of Farmfoods, in hair rollers looking very Hilda Ogden-esque complete with fag and a strong regional accent in a high pitch.

    1. HG Tudor says:

We do indeed engage in a revisionist approach to history to suit our purposes SBJ.

  10. tsk…tsk…

  11. Of course, you would never laugh at us… now, would you…

  12. Amanda says:

So true. I recently laughed at the ex over the phone. I was hung up on and accused of fooling around with someone…which “explains” my laughter…

  13. I would never laugh at you HG! 💗

    1. HG Tudor says:

      Thank you PANA.

  14. 1jaded1 says:

Not going to laugh at you, HG. Not going to wound you. That person in the picture needs to learn manners .

  15. prayin4urkind says:

    My dear sweet HG,

    LOLOLOLOLOL to YOU !!

Seriously, I have no real ill feelings towards “urkind”, as I found the majority of “mykind” can be just as EVIL, use weaker targets such as the children and by staying involved with “urkind” have contributed 50% to dysfunction. I have used your message to provide education to “allkinds” who in my experience are really no different from each other, except maybe in the spectrums of severity of the tactics employed.

Another real tickle to my funny bone, is the irony that your own selfishness to gain positive “fuel” only in your favor, actually turned into a selfless act to educate both kinds of their manipulative ways and whether they can continue the abuse or have a desire to change in some way. Now this was not your true intent, was it?

    LOLOLOLOL to YOU !

Lastly, the real knee slapper here, is that this type of parasitic relationship was a predestined event, as indicated in the Bible verse: especially note verse 6 – very powerful. .

    2 Timothy 3:1–7

3 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, 4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. 6 For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, 7 always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth.

So, in my eyes, my dear sweet HG, the jokes really on YOU !

    LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL !!

    xo

    1. AH OH says:

O boy here we go with the scripture again.

      1. AH OH, lol!! 😂
        I really enjoy your humour!!

        1. AH OH says:

          😎🤗

      2. prayin4urkind says:

Hey, isn’t it ironic? Don’t cha think?

      3. Hey AH OH, did you read it? At least verse 6…pretty ironic don’t ya think? TY!

        1. AH OH says:

I am atheist so these writings have no bearing for me. I do believe the book was written by narcissistic men bowing down to a make believe narcissistic god.
My belief is mine and your is yours. So no insult is intended here.
          No just GOD.

          1. Hi AH OH,

Funny how we so much more alike than I thought cuz I was an atheist too! And recently I used “UH OH” as my online dating app username, to screw with my last Narc!! Can we say “TWINNING”!!

Seriously, my intent was not to push the “G” word on anyone; especially, on a blog about a Narcissist who may believe he is superior to any type of Divine being. (HG Tudor, perhaps?).

I originally had wanted to make a personal statement however, I heard my college research professor whispering in my ear that I best fins a viable reference if i were to post on a blog owned by a man far more intelligent than me. I tend to use the Book, as most classes of people, whether they are Believers or not, and thousands of Historians, will agree the Book is a very, very old book.

You could only imagine my Glee, when I immediately found not only the Narcissist Personality traits, but to see the whole Narcissist/Co-Dependant Dance, where both the abuser and victim are thrown under the bus, was a righteous moment for me !!

May we ALL coexist: whether as a Believer or not or as a Narcissist or Victim!!

            Peace,
            Marci

          2. AH OH says:

I rejected religion at a very young age. 5
What was your journey to bring you as they say, To your knees?

I do not pray and I do not ask.

    2. NarcAngel says:

      PRAYIN

3 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, 4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. So are you saying that I shouldn’t attend any Toronto Maple Leafs hockey games?

      1. prayin4urkind says:

LOLOLOL..only if i can go too!!!

    3. Becky says:

This verse is why I divorced my Narc. I saw that he was destroying my children also.

      1. Bravo to YOU !!

  16. jarwithaheavylid says:

Love this one. I ‘accidentally’ sent a mass mail to friends (only him) at Xmas with a photo of my (our) son, my beautiful dog and Santa, smiling and just looking fantastic. Did she mean to send that? She did that on purpose. Did she? Haha. Does it matter? We look fabulous. 🙂

Then today I find he hasn’t paid the child support as he normally does. I’m not worried – I have enough and he’s afraid of the law. And because of this blog, I think I’ve got to him which makes me laugh.

Do you reckon I’ve got to him HG? 🙂

It’s crossed my mind to break no contact just to laugh at him. I own that son of a bitch. I’m going to be laughing at that effer for the rest of my life.

But I won’t break NC. But what if I’m steely and I just laugh? Ice cold? Still, can’t do it. Can’t risk my son having to ever be exposed to him.

    1. HG Tudor says:

Hello Jar, yes that will have got to him. The failure to pay child support is a form of malign hoover to try to draw fuel from you. Your sentiments are understandable concerning wanting to laugh at him, but you are correct to keep NC in place.

  17. https://youtu.be/kdOPBP9vuZA
That wasn’t to wound HG, I laugh with you, only if you start laughing first. 💙💣

  18. Fool me 1 time says:

I and so many others on this blog would never laugh at you HG!

    1. 1jaded1 says:

      Exactly, FM.

    2. AH OH says:

Bahahahah What was that Fool me? But he makes me giggle!

    3. Erm………We might do…..well I might!

      😉

      1. Obviously I love you loads HG

        1. HG Tudor says:

I would not have it any other way Alexis.
