Relationship Bulletins

relationship

One
of my early girlfriends, Olivia (amazing legs by the way) said that one of the things she really liked about me when we first got together was the pride I showed in broadcasting to the world that I was in a relationship with her. She expressed surprise and delight at how widespread my announcement that we were together was. I posted repeated and regular updates on Facebook of us together, at different restaurants, on the beach, at dinner parties, holding one another and smiling for all to see. I would tweet about how happy I was as a consequence of being with her and also what a breath of fresh air she was compared to the stale, possessive relationship I had been in previously. I would take her to a dizzying array of drinks receptions (both with friends and with work) and introduce you to all and sundry, positively bursting with pride. I ensured we attended plenty of dinner parties and barbecues where we worked our way around the other guests as I enthused about her wonderful qualities knowing full well that those who were in attendance would post about it on their Facebook pages and talk to other friends and acquaintances. Well we all enjoy the latest gossip don’t we? I changed my ringtone to her favourite pop song and when people commented on the tune I would explain why I had chosen it. I spread the news as far as I possibly could, using every available channel of the dissemination of information, content that once the news was out there, it would continue to spread. Yes, Olivia was utterly swept off her feet by the huge exposure I gave her to this glamorous lifestyle of mine and moreover the repeated and concentrated blasts of heralding our coupling. She adored me for it. Of course, what she had not realised that I was not doing it for her. I was letting Sandy, who I had discarded the week prior, know just how happy I was without her and how she was missing out. That’s what it was all about.

My My My … So this is what it was all about!? My ExN heralded us to the world. All of his family and friends were flabbergasted at his display of me, they couldn’t believe it bc he had never done that. (I watched him for about a year prior when he first started trying to get my attention. I did my research and I saw nooo mention of any females like that.) We were going everywhere, birthday posts, I love You’s and the picture of me pregnant with his first child, hand on my stomach broke the internet. All the “ooh’s, ahh’s and I’ve never seen you in love, Ever comments had me REALLY thinking we were somewhere! HG, do you think in the slightest any of that was real?? I already know the answer though 😩😂

  3. Ha ! It was the first ex to reach out to me ! I wanted over a year for that shit! The other chick is pissed lol 🙂

I’m wondering if it is all for show. Like teens, do to you before you do to me. Showing someone off before you have to see them with someone else. Being the first one to have a new partner. Being more of a hurt animal than having to deal with emotions. What is it that triggers a N. to switch from valuing to devaluing? It just feels they are saying nan na na na. Goodbye. Like a little kid. Is a lot of it not wanting to feel the emotions?

  6. I know this now, but wish his new beau could see it! She will…in time. 5 years and he’ll start to get the itch.

  7. HG .. what would happen if two of your exes meet and stayed together the entire week of your birthday ? lol .. one of my exes ex just contacted me to suggest it 😂

    1. HG Tudor says:

It would depend on whether I knew about it or not.

      1. Ofc you would 🙂 we’d make sure lol

    2. Mona says:

Hello fixatedtofree, I can tell you, what my devil did, when I told him that I met his former first source of supply. He had tears in his eyes, tears of anger and lost power. I told him only one secret, so that he knew, it was no lie. What a moment for me! What a feeling! I never saw tears in his eyes before and after this event. He will never tell the next one, where I am to find. But I managed it to let the next know by third person that she is welcome,if she needs it some day. I am waiting for that day. She will get all help, that she needs. And I do have to thank his former supply to support me. She opened my eyes.

“Well we all enjoy the latest gossip don’t we?” Actually alot of us could care less… Like Sandy who’s attention you sought.

“Of course, what she had not realised that I was not doing it for her. I was letting Sandy, who I had discarded the week prior, know just how happy I was without her and how she was missing out.”

See at first I knew you were nothing. But now, I see your are something… Petty.

You mean “a lot of us couldn’t care less” – what you have written states you actually care to some degree, because if you could care less, you evidently must have so care already.

      1. Vashti says:

AH, no actually.. It doesn’t. Is that really all you’ve got HG?

I have plenty more naturally but there is no need to unleash it. Here.

  9. Cara says:

Yup, look how happy I am with Not You

  10. The N I was involved with does this, and has steadily kept it up for more than 2 years. He is married now. I’ve sent you some of the bulletins HG. Would you say they’re typical posts, or excessive?

    1. HG Tudor says:

Hello BWB, have you posted them as comments or sent them elsewhere?

      1. I sent them to your “Knowing the Narcissist” Facebook messages

  11. Matilda says:

I have a recurring scene in my mind whenever you post something like this: all your exes gathered in one place… you are tied to a chair… you have to listen to each and everyone of them… you have to answer to them for every hurt you caused… truth, and nothing but the truth from you… you would be forced to give them closure, and peace. How many of them are still hurting?, one can only wonder… acknowledging your wrongdoings, and apologising to them, should be part of your journey.

  12. Yes. It’s all smoke and mirrors and fluff generated by the people who buy into the illusion. The narcissist him/herself lacks the imagination to create this themselves. They rely, instead, on the beautiful minds and hearts of others to create the illusion. It’s in our own heads. They just know how to instigate our own perceptions.

    1. Debbie says:

      SNM..😊

Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?
…and the mirror shone brightly…illuminating each and every one of the beautiful empaths. We shine on. We keep going. Every time we get back up we are stronger than before. I burst with pride at the resiliance of some people and their neverending care for others even when the chips are down for them.
Yes.. beautiful minds and hearts to be sure.
