What if it’s the other way around – the narc mirrors his victim’s likes and dislikes? Starts drinking tea for the first time if you do, apparently likes the same music, outdoor activities etc.
Is this the action of a narc?
Oh yes.
Would/could this project of engulfing the fuel source result in the primary source taking on the behaviors, thought processes, and emtional structure of the narcissist; in essence, acting as a sort of Mancurian Candidate delivering the devaluation, discards, and other assorted brutalities on behalf of the narcissist? What would it take then for the source to wake up out of this nightmare? Thanks HG-

She wanted me to experience everything in her world. Her tastes, her restaurants, her type of movies, her sexuality, her fashion sense. When you look at her wife she has now become the exact replica of my ex. She morphed into her.
She always thought what I was interested in was stupid. Her thoughts and interests were always better.
It’s confusing because you think we are the ones that you want to change but you want what we have.
I would have looked at myself in a few years and not recognized myself.
