Does this mean the same as us Americans would say, “Topping Off”? Meaning, you need to get that last drop of fuel? If I’m way off, please explain. Thank you!
HG – You regard to the narcissist over the sociopath more often than not. What do you feel are the major differences between the 2? Is it true most narcissistic traits can be tied to sociopathic traits as well? I hear the new term for th narcissistic sociopath is “narcopath”?
Hi Joanne, not all narcissists are sociopaths or psychopaths, but sociopaths and psychopaths have narcissistic traits. Yes narcopath is a useful portmanteau.
Thank you, for being who you are… for letting us into a mind of a narcissist…. do I understand why you are who you are … No for I am the empath… we are human and are the same but wired differently, you will never understand me and I will never understand you.. but you give us the tools to learn about a relationship with your type… My life with a narcissist started at 15 and finished at 51 with 3 people all different but all narcissists… each one worse then the other, the last one being the worst… I will come back and be a person again, be that strong independent women that I was before number 3… each day I don’t think of him is a one more day of healing… it takes time, but I have time… once we escape, once you become that fade memory in our thoughts, once our hearts start to repair the cracks that you left that is one thing you can’t take away from us our time to repair, then we win and you lose because you have lost control..
Uthanks forvthe provocation of thought HG. Adding to yourself to feel complete. Taking traits from others to make yourself look better or shattering someone to raise yourself above them. Unfortunately I can empathize with that thought process.
