I love the video on this article, HG. It is absolutely fantastic.
My narcissist found out i went no contact. I did it without any notice, i basically vanished . No social media and i changed my phone number. He called my work the other day and threatened me saying he was going to show up with a subpeona for court. He never showed , what does this mean HG?
Well done on going no contact with no notice. That was a malign hoover for the purposes of drawing fuel from you. He issued the threat but did not follow-up on it because he wanted the fuel which he could obtain through his threat (easier to do and less energy used) as opposed to the act (which is harder to do and uses up more energy).

Ah, thank you for clarifying. The way it read to me was as if you were asking why does the victim need to go no contact post discard by the narcissist. Hence my question.
If you are the former primary source and you have been dis-engaged from, as mentioned before we are focussed on the new IPPS (which is invariably why you have been dis-engaged from). We have no need of you as the former IPPS and indeed in some instances there is the concern that you will cause problems in our new golden period, hence you will be blocked etc.

This is a great book. As an adult daughter of of NM. I am doing NC. Make sure you listen to the “fortress tips” and stick to your guns. Plus HG gives 19 excellent Power Play tactics the Narc will try to use to Hoover you back in. This alone was worth the $. I read it in a little over a night. The first person point of view and the fact that the advice comes from a Narc are awesome! I can’t wait until a book about NM comes out from HG’s point of view. Purchase this one on Amazon and add it to your Kindle library. You won’t be sorry.
