This book was truly enlightening. It really highlighted how the narc I knew went from hyper-sexual to not interested in a matter of months and then would use sex to try to regain control. Regardless of your motives, it is remarkable that you can articulate this all so well!
This book. Is simply WOW!! So Informative. It would be your description of sex relating to fuel that created the filter. Hot stuff, HG. Have you ever enjoyed sex, for the act, but not the acting?

My narc was into “death” porn, in which women were literally murdered during sex, usually strangulation (all acting, of course-I came across some by accident and it was clearly acted). He never tried acting out any violent sex with me. (Our sex life died not long after marriage.)
I have to believe a psychologically healthy man would NOT be aroused by images of women being murdered during sex.
Is this a common narc fantasy?
I would not describe it as common but it certainly happens.
Is it a manifestation of the hatred of women, do you think? It’s so incredibly disturbing to me.
Hi NarcEx. I was wondering if your narc had witnessed such a crime as a child. I have read that traumatizing events during childhood can sometimes turn into a sexual deviant desire as an adult. I have no formal education in psychology, so I don’t know how often this occurs.
Sounds like you escaped with your life. These fantasies never reduce in intensity, they only increase. One day this guy’s going to act out on his sick “fantasy” if he hasn’t already!

Yes, I did get this book. The first part is pretty good, damn I haven’t gotten past that part yet! Lol. I need to keep reading. Believe me, I do get it. I have never been devalued but have been in a prolonged golden period. I have been shelf girl.
