Lol I remember the day my husband said this to me, he wanted to “hang” out with his friends going to Mexico.
He went and did god knows what, yet hearing the disgusting things he “viewed” was enough to tell me an adventurous day exploring the desert 🌵 with my children answering their curious questions was far more exciting IMO. We even came upon an garden valley as they put it. Trees, a stream that fed a small pool of water, birds and rabbits all in the middle of nothing but sand, cactus and lizards.

or said the father to the mother. Or both said it to each other, when it fitted them. It is interchangeable.
Yesterday I saw a documentary about au pairs. Old au pairs, about 50 or 60 years old. They wanted a last adventure. One of them was an au pair at a Swiss family. Three little children. Both parents worked the whole day. They had no time for their children and gave a lot of commands to the 60 year old au pair. Bake a cake right now. Do this, do that. No time at all for their children. One of these childs said : ” We do not know, whether the au pair dies or when she is not useful for us anymore. Maybe next week.” The child was about 5 or 6 six years old. It has learnt, what his parents said. You could see there was a strong relationship between the child and the au pair. They liked each other very much. But both knew it is a limited time, so the child did not dare to create a deep bond to the au pair. How sad. Next generation of psychopath or narcissist. The statement of the child was clearly narcissistic. And the parents? They were shown only one or two minutes. Two very cold people. What was the reason to have children? Facade? Objects to show around? Toys? I did not see them giving a kiss or even at least a hug to their children. The au pair complained about their behaviour towards the children and herself but could not do anything. She did her best to give the children some emotional warmth for this one year. The documentary had been created to show the life of the au pairs, but it was in the end a harrowing document about a highly respected, wealthy – overtly narcissistic – Swiss family.

this saddens me and breaks my heart. it is how my adorable just turned 2 Grandson is being raised. my Son, the father, not what he wants, but has no choice. 2 years old, and in an accelerated full time “school”, because “mother’s” career and her appearance to outside is most important… I go to visit and he’s not allowed to miss a day. my heart is breaking… nothing i can do… sickens me… his carefree innocence taken from him. however, they feel this is whats best for him and his future, a machine in the making

Humbug to Christmas…except for little kids (Christmas is for kids after all)…who I particularly don’t really like…except for when I do…but in general, Humbug to Christmas.

HG, the video “Knowing The Narcissist Q&A” has no more sound (the one with the timezones)? I could hear it a couple of days ago and now the sound is gone. Trying to figure out what time it’ll be in Melbourne.

    1. HG Tudor says:

It will be 8pm in the UK, so I think it will be 5am in Melbourne.

Too busy to give a damn bc the narc parent doesnt give a damn unless its something that interests them. They have no regard for their child’s passions and what makes them happy. That bores them!
