The all Narcs I’ve ever met in my life were very creative. Ideas, things.

I’ve always found it fascinating. They invest a lot of energy to create and build something, and then they destroy it in a blink. And their eyes expression while they are doing it… It is a mix of pain, hate, disappointment, resignation, determination. They look as if they are losing a… hope.

    1. NarcAngel says:

      No Name

They know deep down theyre tainted and dont deserve it, They dont want to be associated with someone that reminds them that theyre just a facade and so inferior that they cant measure up to an authentic person no matter how much assurance they could be given. That when you see the real them that you wont accept them as they are. So they flip it so that the other person is inferior for not seeing the truth and therefore must be defective. Easier to destroy them than be faced with that. Offence better than defence and supports their feelings of control. Just a thought.

A gajillion entries ago, you said you would tell us the origin of the moniker “HG Tudor”. I haven’t seen this entry yet, but I go hot and cold on reading the blog (small doses). Have you ever posted a blog entry with a story (real or contrived) as to why you chose this particular pen name?

    1. HG Tudor says:

      No I haven’t.

I like to think “Tudor” is from Henry Tudor, someone who could very well be a narcissist according to historical accounts of his character (for example the fact that he was wounded when one wife wasn’t impressed with his fat physique and behaviour on the first encouter; he never forgave her for it, divorcing soon after) and his treatment of his poor 6 wives.
The H.G, on the other hand, I am not sure about. H. could still be for Henry, but I have no idea about G…

        1. HG Tudor says:

The Eighth Henry is one of our kind.
          H is not for Henry.

          1. Becoming Observant says:

I believe this, HG. I was always interested in what your creative process was when choosing the moniker. There had to be a lot of thought put into it.

      2. Erin says:

So did I get Tudor right, then? If I didn’t it’s still a pretty good guess, and a clever choice for a narcissist moniker 🙂

      3. Erin says:

Maybe H.G is for H.G Wells, who could very well have been a narc also, and who was a master in creating false worlds…
