Christmas Day is most likely upon you at the time of reading this. Fresh from triangulating Santa with Rudolph (hey come on, if there is an opening, I will take it) I am well fuelled and therefore I am taking this moment to wish all my readers a holly jolly Christmas.
Remember, this occasion is one whereby you may well enter the sixth sphere of influence of your narcissist and thus a Hoover Trigger will be activated. If you have paid close attention to my work and applied it, you ought to have raised the Hoover Bar so that this Hoover Trigger will mean that there is no completion of the Hoover Execution Criteria and thus you will remain free from a hoover. Do not let your success cause you to drop your guard, this season of goodwill to all, the flow of mulled wine and more, the surging Christmas spirit, the score for devaluation et al means that you are apt to be subjected to a hoover.
If you remain in devaluation and have not yet escaped, give little or no fuel, watch for the manipulations, remember this is an occasion which is our stage and keep that emotional thinking under control.
For those who have recently escape, all hail you but the battle is but recently joined. The hoovers will come and do not let the occasion weaken your resolve. Remain stout of heart and firm of no contact.
Should you be recently disengaged, the season will sting and hurt, but it will pass. Do not yield to the urge to enter those spheres of influence. Do not seek solace with that which has hurt you, the relief from your malady will be both short and visited by greater pain. Use the generosity of your kin and friends to avail yourself of my most excellent works and so doing provide yourself with the armaments to overcome the hostile behaviours of my kind.
It will hurt. It is a painful time for all those who have danced the dizzying dance with our kind but you are here, privy to the most forensic, the most effective and the most edifying knowledge and understanding you can achieve. Do not turn away from this opportunity. Seize it and in so doing seize the power.

I think the worse that I have to endured this Christmas was seeing him in a very depressed mood.. my gut feeling told me that the reason is because his primary ex came into his sphere and made him thus…

Because you are chiefly a reliable source of very good fuel. It may also be for the purposes of character traits and residual benefits. You are a useful appliance to him, thus he maintains this control over you by having you as a secondary appliance taken on and off the shelf.
