My narc will compliment me on my posts but he loves to brag about his own especially political ones involving a negative reaction out of others. He also loves to show me favorable responses. Hes showed me women responding to his posts and i told him flat out i dont want to see any womans replies if they are flirty in nature. He hates when im direct and usually emotionally shelves me but idk! I protect my feelings. His political provoking posts i ignore. His geneology posts ill build him up bc i enjoy them and theyre really good.
So true. Any piece of information we give narcissistic people, no matter how innocuous it may seem, will be most likely twisted and used against us.
Not exactly the same, but it reminded me that my N used to see certain people online that he could bait, so he would post something provocative, then berate then for responding.

You are not top by a considerable distance Sniglet, indeed I do not recall ever not publishing one of your comments (unless you have asked me not to) as everything gets published from all commenters save the occasional comment which contravenes the rules. I would estimate that of all comments submitted, around 0.2% of them have not made it through moderation and there is one serial offender who makes up the bulk of that 0.2%

The sniglet that has been posting seems a little different I noticed myself don’t know if we have an imposter or not either way I love sniglets comments sometimes they seem harsh but they are the voice of reason they help me even when they’re not directed at me I consider her to be the person I would want to be and behave like if all my various neuroses disappeared lol

Not unlucky for sharing her own personal story, because it is hers and not mine. The only reason I have been tough on her was to jolt her senses back to reality. There is no use of following the same old sweet path of “understanding” and “caring” like everybody else. I’m not interested in that. Something or someone has to stand out and bring her reality in focus, if only for a short while. Because I know she will forget the pixels she has read on the screen, and go back to crying, churning and analysing every syllable that dick has promised her. Now, that is a waste of precious life when she could easiy find another spotted dick. I think she knows what needs to be done – but needs mental strength which will come in time with confidence.
