Hi, HG! I just wonder is your pseudonym a reference to King Henry 8th (Tudor)? He (as a full blown Narcissist) tortured and even executed most of his wives (IPPSs). “G” stands for Great, I guess.
I’m very new here, sorry if somebody already asked this question before.
Hello, dear Iko Flugel,
Some have suggested HG is for Holy Grail .. because he’s searching for “it” …
OR
my guess is … His Greater and Tudor is a male christian name used in Wales …. Tudor the Welsh equivalent of Theodore (also means God given/gift ) from his German roots, as he has blue eyes and blonde hair …. there you go…. His Greater God
Mr Tudor… do I win ??? 😂
Wow! I just watched ‘The Glass Castle’. (Woody Harrelson, Naomi Watts) Available on Amazon Prime video. The movie was beautifully acted and quite emotional as well as educational, like film strip time at school. From what I’ve read, the book she wrote that the movie was based on is even better. I plan to make time to read it. If I had watched it pre-HG, I would have been very puzzled.
I couldn’t help but think about our very own HGU librarian, K as I was watching. I imagined her as Jeannette Walls, the leading character. I hope to God your childhood wasn’t that terrible girlie, but I got an idea from the movie and my heart was breaking for you and all the others that grew up that way. I have no right to complain about my childhood whatsoever.
I saw an interview with her and she believes her father was bipolar. I got a narc vibe. It’ll be interesting your take on it. It’s a good film either way. I think you will enjoy it. I plan to read her book as well.

Isn’t that a bad thing? Shouldn’t anyone bother with anyone?

Welcome, no it is not.
I thought the same thing. It has to be lofty, whatever the pseudonym represents for him personally.

I will watch it this weekend MB, and let you know what I think.
