I am an empath.
I am not just any empath
I know your kind.
Pretty much from the beginning of my time.
You have no power over me
As I can see
You from miles away.
Your tricks and schemes are like a neon sign
And it is so easy to leave you far behind
You see, you educated me long
Long ago and that was your mistake
When I come across your kind, I know I’m smarter than you. Because I know exactly how to play you.
You think you have control but that is so far from the truth
I will wait to see you unravel.
Because my intellect beats yours.
You know why?
Because truth is on my side. And couple that with intuition and intellect and we will beat your childish ways.
We can see past
Your lies and manipulations.
We are the master perceivers.
You have no power over us.
Even when I was held captive by my need to be good and loving. I learned early in life to recognize your manipulations.
Your lies and your deceit.
Come at me and I will tear you to shreds because I know exactly how to cut you down.
You are not superior, you are childish and stupid. Only the gullible will swallow your shit.
And I will destroy you with my subtle blows to your ego.
I see you. I bloody see you. I will always outwit you in all that you try to do because that is what you taught me, how
To defeat
You because you are ignorant. Truly a dumbass.
I will give
You credit. You are smart. But only to the weak. But when you meet me, for a glimpse of a
moment you will think you have me pegged. Oh, silly narcissist. You are weak, so very
weak because of your needs.
That is what makes you so weak.
You think
You are strong but you not
Only fool
Others but yourself. Your weakness is in your need.
And that is where
You fail and that is why you will always be a loser.
Because I can control you by the very thing you think you
Control others with.
It’s such an easy game.
I can do
It in my
Sleep.
Your need is your weakness.
And that is why you are a fool.
Wake up before the end draws near, because, my dear, the black hole will
Swallow you just as you have always feared.

So realistic and so relatable. Not stuck in a victim role one with self completely trusting your journey . Head up high !

I have made attempts to discuss my issues healing/going NC. Specifically, with my closest friends and family. They try, but they don’t understand. I appreciate this forum and feedback from all.

Amazing letter! I feel like that sometimes, and am currently being hoovered. Holding my ground. However just when I think I have one up on the narc, he is always one step ahead. HG is right, you cannot win. Question: HG, this letter describes similar behavior of a narc. What kind of empath?

I believe you can win. Just not in the way that you think I’m saying. I am a selective empath. I couple emotion with logical. And I not a narcissist. Actually a lot of victims to NPD individuals lack any self esteem or self worth. When you learn to love yourself you do take on some traits of narcissism. Because you should. It’s necessary for your boundaries. Not everything is black and white. In fact most things aren’t at all.

I have a question for HG.
When you go through a “normal” period…what’s the meaning or machination behind it? You know …when you seem to be just a like normal person for a little while?
I have my suspicions and theories but would love to hear it from a master manipulator
If you mean a period where there is no devaluation then in the context of the ensnarement between IPPS and narcissist, it is a respite period.

Yes, this is my letter.
We’re all really just reliving our childhood. We’re attracted to narcissists because that’s what we grew up with, our brains are wired for it, and they feel like home to us.
But in the end, they’re just a bad habit to break, and replace with a good one.
