Poll : Who Is Next For The ‘Very Treatment’ ?

POLLHG WANTSTO KNOW

My kind – we are everywhere, but who is a narcissist and who is not? When it comes to ascertaining this with regard to your personal life, a Narc Detector Consultation with me is the go to method for getting an answer, but what about the rich, famous and powerful in the world? Which of the politicians, athletes, pop stars, film stars, titans of industry and celebrities belong to Narc Club?

My ‘A Very’ series always provokes debate, interest and of course requests for other individuals to be put under the Tudorscope for analysis.

Well, as Christmas is coming and I, of course, as your ever bountiful and generous host, am in the mood for some more giving, I am letting you good readers choose who next gets the ‘Very Treatment’ to establish are they or aren’t they?

Below are 25 well-known people (and if they are not well-known to you google is your friend) . You may choose 5 of the 25 you would like to see put under the Tudorscope and by midday UK time on 14th December, the 5 top placed individuals will be the subject of a future ‘A Very’ article.

Get voting and do elaborate on why you selected certain people for analysis in the comments.

Thank you for participating.

  1. Chihuahuamum says:

    A bit late, but i chose…
    Elvis
    Oprah
    Marilyn manson
    Steve irwin
    Queen elizabeth II

Elvis, Oprah and Steve because i can’t envision them as narcissists.
Marilyn Manson and Queen Elizabeth because i suspect they are narcissists.

    1. Another Cat says:

I’m gonna go wild, Chihuahuamum, I suggest that Elvis was a Nonnarc.
(despite his bad behaviour towards women)
Something genuine about those nonstiff facial expressions.

(I have not seen him on any of the celebrity lists purchased from HG so far)

  2. Duchessbea says:

HG, would love to hear what you have to say about Alec Baldwin, particularly regarding the recent allegations of his wife Hilaria. Oprah is a True Super Empath.

  3. E&L says:

I am changing my opinion regarding Oprah being a narcissist. I have said I believed her to be one, albeit, I have both loved her then later thought “yuck” at times. He conversations with Byron Katie led me to believe that she has emotional empathy, therefore, according to HG, she is not a narcissist.

  4. cb says:

Gonna Hate myself for asking this one, HG. Already ashamed.
The guy has had lots of tragedies, his sister was murdered, & many other tragedies.
A very charming man and actor.

    Kelsey Grammer (Frasier)
I get a very Odd confused feeling whenever I read – his memoirs or in magazine articles – how he talks about women, his exes, he always seems to have been victim of ‘crazy ex-wives’, ‘crazy ex-girlfriends’ and his coworkers (like Shelley Long e g) He seems very tense and covertly badmouths women, small small frequent putdowns, ‘feels very sorry for her’. His exwife claims he pretends like she never existed.

Tell me he has real empathy, HG.
And just a weird attachment style, which would be quite understandable.

    1. HG Tudor says:

I have not examined him to provide a considered opinion,CB.

  5. lisa says:

HG i think Cliff Richards is one ?

  6. cb says:

I think your blog is so eloquent and intelligently argumented, that the Catholic church would feel compelled to admit what you write about Mother Teresa, when you confirm what Christopher Hitchens tried to convey to us, the world, for so long.
To save a shred of decent reputation, they may take back her sainthood. Imho.

  7. Nika says:

    He is handsome, too.

  8. Nika says:

I do wonder about that one character who takes from the rich, and gives to the poor… if he is, indeed, doing a noble deed, or disturbing the balance of society by manipulations based on his own belief system.

    1. windstorm says:

      Mika
Robin Hood? I say he was a narc. The whole “rob from the rich and give to the poor” story was a cleverly crafted façade. He probably gave a pittance to the poor and had lieutenants spread the stories in order to trick the common people into helping him hide from the authorities. No respect for law or authority, leader of a band of thieves. always disappearing, did whatever he pleased – sounds like a narc to me.

      1. Nika says:

        Windstorm,

I see. Thank you. I could not remember if it was Robin Hood, or Peter Pan who was known for this. I always get them mixed up. I think they both supposedly wore tights.

      2. jenna says:

        Windstorm,

        Hehe (abt robin hood)

        Hg,
Due to all this talk about rg, i watched an rg video last night. Are you him using a voice modifier? I think your physique might match his? Please tell me you’re not him!!! I am not comfortable with him!
Then again, you would not tell us would you?

        1. HG Tudor says:

Of course I am not him, good god, I am far cleverer, far more articulate, far more interesting, far more knowledgeable and if I had that accent I would shoot myself.

          1. NarcAngel says:

            HG
I know you’re not rg but not entirely sure you’re not Robin Hood. Waddaya say you throw on a pair of green tights and let is see your err…quiver, so we can rule that out? C’mon! It’s Christmas.

          2. HG Tudor says:

I’m better than Robin Hood. He only had one string to his bow.

          3. Nika says:

I suspect Mark DeRainault… the Sheriff

          4. NarcAngel says:

            Nika
I thought the Sheriff was Robert de Rainault.

          5. jenna says:

            Hg,

I never watched any of his videos until that one. (Why watch him when I have everything I need on narcsite?) It was the one where he interviewed sv. So, I don’t really know what he’s like. I just saw the physique and heard the british accent, and became worried that he is you. Had I actually listened to him talking at lengths, I am sure I would have realized his intelligence level is not as high as yours. Thanks for the confirmation. Thank god!

      3. cb says:

Robin Hood? I believe Che Guevara had NPD. Extreme risktaker shooting ppl out of the blue whenever he felt like it.

Many here mention Dr Phil McGraw
… he has quite natural ‘organic’ facial expressions, not constantly craving the spotlight, not always striving to look ‘badass’. So I gamble Phil is actually Not a narc.

  9. Nika says:

I never liked Santa because he gives gifts to certain children, but not to other ones who’s family’s cannot afford gifts for their children. It is not about being “naughty or nice”. But, I love all Heroes, such as Firefighters, Soldiers, and Police Officers, and First Responders because they do give gifts to ALL children.

And, whenever I have sat on top of Santa’s lap, he has always unfailingly had a big ole’, enormously thick candy cane sticking up from his front pocket.

I believe he is teasing me with it since he well knows that I have such a sweet-tooth, and do LOVE candy!

He is a naughty tease in that way.

  10. Alexissmith2016. says:

I’m guessing Mourinho is one. But HG, please tell me Wenger isn’t.

    And what of Harry Rednapp?

    1. HG Tudor says:

Correct with ‘The Special One’. He is an excellent case study actually. Harry? Narc traits but no. Arsene – I’m not telling you!

      1. Nika says:

Oh noooo… I totally won’t sleep, now. You savage torturer, you!

        1. Renarde says:

Of course Arsey Venger is a narc! And HG is being mean 🙂

      2. Alexissmith2016 says:

I’m pleased about Harry. I never used to like him but (and I never watch trash TV) whilst flicking through the channels, I saw the moment when he was reunited with his wife and it looked incredibly genuine. You’ve made me really happy that someone can make it so far and not be a narc. I appreciate people do but it’s extra tough. The traits help though I’m sure. I’m learning to adopt them and it’s certainly improving my life in so many ways – all down to HG, my favourite N of course.

Wenger, noooooooooo!!! How. Could you do that? I’ll have to start researching him a bit more.

I’m off to watch tonnes of box sets of anything with JC in it, in protest!

After all, he is my favourite.

        1. HG Tudor says:

          It’s War!!

      3. ALexissmith2016 says:

You taught me about the art of triangulation too. Thank you

        1. HG Tudor says:

          Ha ha touche!

  11. LL says:

I just looked at my calendar. Did I miss this article, or was it delayed? This is my very favorite series.

    1. HG Tudor says:

No, you have not missed it.

  12. Presque Vu says:

Damn it – I’m late to the party!

There was only 2 I really wanted to know about.

I think Julian Assange interested me because of his possible WANK participation… but I don’t know enough about the Wiki fellow to wonder any more than that.

Jim Jones OBVIOUS PYSCHOPATH, no need for further elaboration!

** Now Bruce Wayne I am interested in for 2 reasons, the first a Carl Jung theory on a persons dark side – everyone has one and Bruce confronted his in early life and uses his dark side for good. The second is the psychoanalysis of his character – I want it dissected piece by piece by someone like you. If all you tell us is true – there are a few parallels here between you and he. Bruce is an upper Elite.
    Question is, Burton or Nolan?

**Oprah. She is a narc, she fat shames, has a magazine dedicated to herself, is a hyprocrite chatting away casually with Weinstein after #MeToo, if you refuse to work with her as Angelina Jolie did she cuts you dead. She’s all about ratings and her target audience… middle class white women. 50 cent called her an Oreo ha!
Not my cup of tea. Oprah is clever, I’d say a cerebral mid greater?

  13. Nika says:

I know! I know! Emotion Detective!

    1. NarcAngel says:

That was funny but ED is not worth the ink and the assesment would be very short. Likely one word.

      1. Nika says:

        👍

      2. Nika says:

        NarcAngel,

This was the only place I could reply to you. Oh, it was another Derainault… I see. I suppose I got my “DeRainaults” mixed up. Thank you.

  14. Chihuahuamum says:

    How about vlad the impaler?

    1. HG Tudor says:

      That’s my weekend name.

      1. nunya biz says:

        Bahahahaha!

      2. Clarece says:

For what’s under those swim trunks or just in general?
        (jk)

      3. Chihuahuamum says:

        😂🤣😂

    2. Renarde says:

      Ha ha! You’re cute Chi!

  15. Alexissmith2016 says:

Good god I’ve only just noticed Steve Irwin on the list. I don’t know huge amounts about him to be fair but he always just seemed a bit nuts. I certainly only knew if I’m pre narc education. So I just googled him and he has the deadest eyes I’ve ever seen!

    1. Alexissmith2016 says:

Not ‘knew if I’m’ knew of him

    2. jenna says:

      This is to everyone!

Since xmas is just around the corner, and I’m sure many of us would like to give hg a gift, but we can’t because he would never disclose an address. So, why not each one of us leave a review on amazon before the 25th, of one of our favorite books?!! Hg would appreciate it, and we will be giving to him for once, instead of him always giving to us, by so kindly moderating our comments, answering our questions, and being so patient and polite with us all the time.

      1. HG Tudor says:

Excellent suggestion Jenna and in doing so you will give my work greater prominence to assist others. The gift that will keep on giving.

        1. jenna says:

          Thanks hg!
Indeed it is the gift that keeps on giving.

(I’m sure you half gagged while writing that though!)

      2. Mercy says:

Ok who’s jealous they didn’t think of this idea first? I love it and will definitely leave my review before the 25th. Nice idea Jenna!

      3. NarcAngel says:

        Jenna
        Great idea little elf.

      4. jenna says:

        Mercy,
Thanks! Haha, no need to be jealous when you have the best looking feet and high heels on this side of narcsite!! Love the pic!

      5. DF says:

Just did it. What a great idea.
At Amazon’s they are busily releasing hg tudor book reviews right now, there are new ones every few minutes 🙂

        1. HG Tudor says:

          Thank you.

        2. jenna says:

          DF,

          That’s very exciting!!

      6. Sweetest Perfection says:

Jenna, wonderful marketing strategy to position HG at the top of all books related to the topic of narcissism or abusive relationships, and truly, I think all of us here can say we were lucky to, in a way or another, having run into his works at some point. This should help others find him first when looking for help instead of wasting time reading some psychological shenanigans or new age “find your center blah” that don’t help anyone.

        1. HG Tudor says:

          I agree.

        2. jenna says:

          Sweetest P,

I agree. When I first discovered I was dealing with a narcissist, I told a relative, who bought me a book on the topic. It just outlined what the psychopath/narc does to the victim eg. blameshifting etc. which I already knew about. I did not finish the book because I was reading HG at the same time, and lost complete interest in that book.

      7. DF says:

Do you all post on amazon.com? I did it on amazon.de and it looks like people on amazon.com can’t see it while people on amazon.de can also read all reviews on amazon.com. Hmmm.

      8. mommypino says:

Thanks for the idea Jenne. I posted more reviews on Amazon. I gave them all five stars. Will do more in the following days. Merry Christmas!

        1. HG Tudor says:

          Thank you for doing so.

      9. jenna says:

        DF,

Yes I posted on amazon.com last time.

      10. Mercy says:

Merry Christmas HG, I hope Santa leaves lots of fuel under the tree for you. I left your gift on Amazon.

Thanks again Jenna for the idea .Merry Christmas!

    3. jenna says:

I know many of us have already left reviews, but we can always leave one more if we have missed some books!

      1. K says:

        jenna
Consider it done and that is a great idea BTW.

  16. Confused says:

Can we have Ross Rosenberg, please?

    1. HG Tudor says:

      Well spotted.

      1. lisa says:

That Ross guy is always arguing with Sam Vaknin on Youtube , yeah the Codependant expert, although i’m interested in the subject I can’t listen to him he’s the most boring up his own ass wanker ever. So your agreeing he’s actually a Narc, HG ?

        1. HG Tudor says:

Yes. I saw a very interesting set of videos. He was being interviewed by someone and was speaking alongside someone else, a lady, I forget her name. He released a version of the interview – the lady provided the full version. The differences were very revealing as was the fact that he had edited it.

          1. Anm says:

HG, was it when he appeared on Lisa A. Romano’s Youtube show? She is a Codependent Coach, and she had him on her show. He was trying to obtain dominance over her own show the whole time. It was strange to say the least, and you could tell that she realized he was a Narcissist speaking about himself.

          2. HG Tudor says:

Bingo – that’s the one, thank you.

      2. Caroline R says:

        This is interesting.
I haven’t heard anything I found implausible from Ross Rosenberg so far (I haven’t seen and read all his outpourings to date, so my research is limited), but I am always open to changing my good opinion when new facts come to light.
As with everything else in my life.

        Do tell.

      3. Chihuahuamum says:

Hi lisa…wasnt it sam vaknin and richard grannon that had a falling out? Altho lately theyre back at it with interviews and working together. Ross and sam i dont think ever arugued. They had an interesting interview and got along well.

        1. Clarece says:

SV and RG have been thick as thieves collaborating and RG putting out video installments of their 3 day interview together a few months back. SV is marketing his Cold Therapy and offering it as a consultation over Skype sessions along with dealing with narcissistic abuse. $300 / hour. Good luck with that SV.
Too many loopholes to put forth the energy on why this won’t work and the people who will actually scrape together $$ to listen to this will probably be the victims hopeful that they found a way to “fix” the Narc in their life.

          1. NarcAngel says:

            Clarece
Not only would most people not pony up that kind of money to a narcissist, but an hour of that dry prick droning on is the very definition of narcissistic abuse.

          2. Clarece says:

SV will probably be yelling at most people by the end of the call. Then blocking them. He started doing that to Instagram followers who would ask questions along the lines of here with readers genuinely trying to understand or get more clarification of his topics. Some would go complain on Richard Grannon’s Insta page then on the posts with their combined interviews that they’d love to hear what SV has to say but since he blocked them…not really interested anymore. SV is going to struggle with trying to market and reach out to the masses. Especially the U.S. market. I know I would never get the kind of help with JN that I did from HG with SV.

          3. K says:

            NarcAngel
Honestly, I think he would devalue them. My cerebrals are arrogant and condescending and don’t always socialize well.

          4. lisa says:

I actually think Sam Vaknin is very good he knows his stuff, he just can’t be involved with any humans

          5. HG Tudor says:

One would consider such a hindrance to mean the individual could not be very good really.

          6. lisa says:

How does it go, some are just better thespians than others. I actually found Vaknin before i found you , it took me understanding everything from you to then be able to understand Vaknin.
I think Vaknin is still suffering the bitter disappointment that he was not diagnosed a psychopath and just simply a narcissist. He was furious that after many tests he was diagnosed as not a psychopath …….. clarece is correct he will not have the patience to deal with the questions from people. You know what we are like with you on here and you actually have the patience of a saint on this blog with us lot at times .

          7. HG Tudor says:

            A compliment indeed, thank you.

          8. K says:

            lisa
Oh snap! After watching SV on Youtube, I didn’t get a “Psychopath Vibe” from him, however, I got psychopath from HG very quickly after coming to narcsite.

          9. NarcAngel says:

I actually fell asleep listening to SV and I was honestly trying to focus. I started looking at background stuff and zoning out and playing it back but couldn’t take anything in. Same with his writing. I almost gave up pursuing information further. In contrast – I was only half way through the first article of HG’s when I sat up straight and couldn’t get enough. Night and day.

          10. Nika says:

It cannot be denied that HG is more patient than even most non-sociopaths. I do respect this attribute. I do not appreciate some things about him, but he does have some valiant qualities that are beyond ordinary.

          11. Clarece says:

Exactly! SV definitely has his place and is resourceful and brings value. As long as he is giving monologues or giving the link for his journals to read so he doesn’t have to answer your questions. He thinks everyone is just intellectual applesauce next to him. I don’t know how well he will relate to actual conversation with consults. I mean, HG has probably had clients get pretty emotional during calls. Some are in very fresh, raw circumstances, so it’s natural. I’ve always heard nothing but great things about HG being very patient and understanding during his consults, especially with sensitive subject matter or if a client began to cry for instance.
SV, I see him ending the call and telling the person to call back when they’re composed to talk…or listen to him.

          12. jenna says:

            Clarece,

Sv would ask the client to call back when he/she is composed lol!!

When I cried during consults with hg, he was quiet and patient, and asked me to continue when I was ready.

          13. jenna says:

            Lisa and K,

            Lisa,
I literally laughed out loud at that sv comment.

            K,
SV who? I don’t know anyone by those initials…

          14. K says:

            jenna
Ha ha ha…those initials don’t ring a bell at all.

        2. lisa says:

          Chihuahuamum
Hi, yes Vaknin and Richard Grannon do a lot together now, i think Grannon is trying to make Vaknin seem more human to the audiences . Ross doesn’t agree with Vaknin regarding codependants they have differing views on it , but if Ross is a narc then that could be the problem .

      4. nunya biz says:

That is hilarious, Clarece. Amazes me hg doesn’t do those things.

I guess those people do not reflect properly his self image? It seems like they always have to be destructive.

      5. nunya biz says:

Only a narcissist could be disappointed about not being a psychopath?

        1. HG Tudor says:

          Brilliant.

        2. NarcAngel says:

          Nunyabiz
Hahaha. My best laugh today. Thanks.

      6. mommypino says:

Nunya Biz, I was just wondering as I was reading through, why would anybody want to be a psychopath?! You got me laughing. So true.

      7. jenna says:

Hg, do you think matthew mcconaughey is a narc? He’s supposedly very faithful to his wife. Twelve years and 3 kids later, he’s still completely smitten by her. It just seems too perfect. I wonder if there is a stepford deval going on?

        1. HG Tudor says:

Not considered him Jenna, I do find him irritating though.

          1. jenna says:

I don’t find him irritating but just a little too perfect. Thanks for your opinion.

      8. nunya biz says:

NA funny, mine was something about mustache rides! I literally lol’d a minute ago. Although was Vlad the Impaler today? Cuz that was pretty funny also.

      9. nunya biz says:

I know, mp, we’re all worried because we don’t want to be a narcissist, it’s very funny to me.

Matthew McConaughey did those terrible Lincoln car ads that got spoofed.

    2. E&L says:

Please elaborate, what did I miss?

      1. Confused says:

He is ex army, now makes a rather splendid living off being a recovered co-dependent on YouTube, has also published a book or two on co-dependency. I checked it out and it’s all me, me, me….. Full of mistakes also, among other things he claims that you are likely to turn co-dependent as the golden child of the family. This made me first suspect that he must have been one and is now projecting after his many failed relationships with what he claims were all narcissistic women. I can’t put a finer finger on it, it’s just my narcdar went right off and wanted confirmation from the planet’s greatest narc detector. HG can you perhaps add some more substance to my gut feeling?

        1. E&L says:

Thank you! I am very, very aware of my delayed mastery of concepts. I can cognitively grasp things, but application or confidence of comprehension can take decades! Like, I just fucking figured out as a 54 year old that I am a grown ass adult and no longer have to answer to familial inquiries. I had heard other refer to Ross R. as a narc, but I was truly unsure because the self love deficit really resonates with me. I was always under the impression that if you thought well of yourself, you were conceited. Childhood programming is really difficult to identify and undo.

    3. Chihuahuamum says:

I thought ross rosenburg was a codependant? Hed been married to a narcissist.

    4. Anm says:

      Totally

  17. lisa says:

I need to do a revote, now K has pointed out that you’ve already said The Queen and Oprah are empaths, i don’t want those 2 votes to count . The other 3 i voted for are ok because they are still unconfirmed

    1. K says:

      lisa
C’mon, don’t you want to know which traits display their empathism? Narcissists always get the attention, plus, we can compare and contrast the similarities and differences. This is an excellent opportunity to be schooled in narc/empath detection skills.

      1. lisa says:

        K
        Yes valid point

      2. mommypino says:

K, I always hear about amazingly successful narcs. I would love to hear about amazingly successful empaths this time. So excited to read about Oprah and The Queen. 😊

        1. K says:

          mommypino
Exactly! we can learn how to ferret out the true empath from the imposter Dirty Angel. Cognitive/false empathy v true emotional empathy, pathological envy or fierce admiration, arrogance or self-confidence.

          Empaths have narc traits too.

      3. Renarde says:

        That’s fucking brilliant x

  18. cb says:

I don’t think David Beckham, Queen Elisabeth & Elvis Presley have actual NPD. Their eyes seem a bit too warm and ‘rolling around’.
    Not John. But Yoko does.
I see this on their eyes and body language.
And mostly after reading your posts about The Stare, those intense eyes.

    Prove me wrong HG

I’d love to see a post about Oprah, who I believe has NPD.

/Hoping for Nick Cave & Keanu Reeves to be empathic, no clue

    1. Chihuahuamum says:

I think the queen is most definitely a narcissist. Dont tell her i said that 😄

  19. Restored Heart says:

Looking at the current results I realise my choices will be out of the running but I’ll state them anyway.

    Jim Jones
As a Christian I find these characters interesting in their operation & would like to know your perspective. Koresh interests me a little more as I knew people that were in Waco. The current narc evangelists are a little more sophisticated in their deceptions.

    Malcolm Turnbull
As an Aussie I’m interested but he was a very boring politician that has thrown a couple of tantrums since being ousted. Shorten is horribly monotone but dangerous & ambitious. He has climbed the ranks quickly from unionist to the head of the Labour Party even marrying a former GG’s daughter on the way up.

    Nick Cave
Just an interesting character that takes a little more digging & research to get to know unlike some of the other listed musos. Although given he has predominantly lived in England until recently there was probably more about him there than here.

    Steve Irwin
I’d never really thought about him being one. Thought he was more ADHD. Just found him terribly annoying. Thought it was more likely to be his wife…

    Elvis Presley
There was a lot of interesting dynamics in his life. An analysis of these would be good. Especially his mother, the Colonel, etc…

Interesting poll to see what people were interested in…

    1. Nika says:

I love Elvis, and he is so handsome!

  20. DF says:

I chose Oprah Winfrey and Nick Cave because I cannot recognize their narcissism, probably don’t know them sufficiently. I chose Mother Theresa because I was so disgusted by her. Pablo Picasso – there was a biography about him that sounded a lot like he was a narcissist. Julian Assange I suspected was a narcissist because of the events surrounding the crisis of Wikileaks. But I would like to learn details about those two cases.
    Another suggestion:
What about Henry VIII? Maybe he is too obvious a case of narcissism but there are still writers out there who are trying to historically make sense out of the killings of his spouses. I’d find that a very interesting read.

  21. Kel says:

Not everyone who has the drive to rise to the top is a narcissist. Non-narc aren’t spotless angels, just because we have the ability to empathize, doesn’t mean we always care. Steve Jobs is widely believed to be a narc, but others say it isn’t true. He gave other people credit, he surrounded himself with people who could advise him, he spoke of love being more important than the pursuit of money on his death bed. He also said, “There’s a big difference between being a human being and being human. Few people really understand that.”

Narcissists do not mean success, they mean Me, Not you, Just Me. Companies do not want CEO narcissists. Elon Musk – ?

  22. Christopher Jackson says:

I’m curious to know about Barack he seemed to be empathic to me I guess not…. he is on the list. Oprah as well I heard that she can be very nasty in interviews. Taylor swift I feel like she could be somatic she has had so many different bf’s cant be good…kanye west I figured he was a narc maybe even a lower level narcissist….he does to many knee jerk things…he also recognizes trump as his brethren and they are of the same cadre…yes hg???I wonder..kim Kardashian has the to be a narc somatic I would suppose….one can only wonder the whole house are narcs….Santa clause what a joke hg I couldn’t stop laughing when I seen the shit…..he gets all the credit for gifts when he hasn’t brought a damn thing…especially since kids buy into the false facade which isn’t real sounds all too familiar especially when he has an army of people helping him out….parents and elfs can we say greater narcissist only have to wait to see…now wouldn’t we??? One request I would like to make if you were to get a photo of someone and I send it to you would you be able to tell if they are a narc or not? I wonder…? Thanks and keep it coming HG always nice to listen and read content…I cannot express how much my eyes have open up to narcs around me didnt know there were so many around i happened to surround myself around alot of them i know why they were around because they enjoyed my fuel now that it does flow anymore they seemed to have just vanished….I wonder why??… until next time HG

    1. jenna says:

      Hi christopher jackson,

Going by your name, I am assuming you are a man. If I am wrong, please correct me. I just wanted to say it’s nice to have a male perspective in the comments section. I will look out for your comments from now on.

  23. JJ says:

Oh! Madonna is going down the list : (

How about analyzing the first six. That will require more effort from HG.

    JJ is feeling sad. : ( : ( : (

  24. Kel says:

Henry the Eighth, Napoleon, Hitler, Stalin, Joseph Mengele, Ted Bundy, Trump, Vladimir Putin, Kim Jung Un, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, OJ Simpson, Steve Bannon, Rush Limbaugh, Angelina Jolie, Jeffrey Dahmer, mass shooters in narcissistic rage

  25. Kathy Mor says:

I chose Nick Cave because of his dark twisted side and Kim Kardashian because she stinks like rotten poop. I knew they wouldn’t be the most popular. For some reason the others are boring to death (in my own opinion) and didn’t inspire me enough to care to know about them.

I leave it up to HG to choose for me which other ones he would like to dissect and… destroy. I would rather hear his choice because then I would know (maybe) that his choice would reflect some personal spice associated with it… even if hate or despise. Either way, it will be brilliant!

  26. Ugotit says:

Wow I hate all these people even Obama even though I hate Trump 1000 times more hate Oprah and Madonna too and Taylor Swift and all the others I’ve heard of I guess my narcdar is very powerful

  27. Chablita says:

Elon Musk!! Just interviewed on 60 Minutes. Never really knew much about him, but, some red flags there!! And yes, Mother Teresa…

  28. /iroll says:

I chose Nick Cave, because he’s the only interesting person to me on the list.

  29. Sweetest Perfection says:

I’d love to see Russell Brand on that list. On a different note, will we ever have the chance to see AN EYE on any forthcoming profile pics, HG?

    1. BurntKrispyKeen says:

Hello Sweetest Perfection… I agree with your suggestion. AN EYE would make a perfect Gravatar for the third intallment of Body-Parts-Revealed. Just wanted to take a moment, SP, to say that you have wonderful ideas.
(Oh, and Russell Brand would make for an interesting article, too.) 👀

      1. Sweetest Perfection says:

        Thank you, BKK 💋

        1. HG Tudor says:

HG approves of your gravatar SP.

  30. LL says:

Another one I’d like to see in your series is John Lennon.
And for all of you that are surprised about mother Theresa, google it. There are some great analysis’ on her that point out the red flags.
And those that believe Oprah is an empath – it’s just a testimony to how strong her facade is. She is definitely a narc.

    1. Renarde says:

      Another one for Lennon too.

  31. amanda SNapchat says:

I would love to hear more about Obama. Especially how everyone sees him so positive.

    1. wissh says:

      ASN
How can you not? Unless you’re a conservative in which case it’s just politics.

  32. amanda SNapchat says:

I don;t want to believe that Ophra is a narc. I love her advice! But sometimes she is a bully. Some of her interviews she did come out to seem like a bully. I love this interview of her and a woman who I believe was a victim of narc husband. She was a model, she paid for her husband to go to law school, medical school, make a shit ton of money. Her husband later dumped her for his new secretary. He drove his wife crazy. She ended up killing him.
Here is the interview that Ophra gave to her:
    https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5bz1fp
Ophra is being a bully! No empathy for this woman. ALthough she is a murderer. So maybe it makes sense :-/

I do like the advice Ophra gives about how to succeed in life.

    1. amanda SNapchat says:

I want to believe Ophra is an empath. Maybe magnetic empath. She talks about struggling with creating boundaries with people. I really like her advice and how her mind works. I am thinking that the above interview I saw was more that she did not understand narcs and had a hard time connecting with a murderer. I like how Ophra thinks. This video motivates me:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xe99QWlM_9A
Thanks for starting this discussion HG

  33. jenna says:

    Forgot to sub…

  34. lisa says:

    K
    You are bloody brilliant !!

    1. K says:

      Thank you lisa!!!

  35. Kellie Mccoey says:

Mother Teresa received more votes then Jim jones! Are you paying any attention at all people

    1. Renarde says:

Urm because the contrast between facade to reality is huge.

  36. Why isn’t Donald Trump on this list? or did you already write about him and I missed it?

    1. HG Tudor says:

The search facility will lead you to redemption

    2. K says:

      Susanne – WY/USA
You can type: POTUS, into the search function located on the upper right underneath “Knowing the Narcissist”.

That should bring up The Donald.

    3. Mary says:

Because everyone knows Trump is an overt narc. That’s my guess.

    4. E. B. says:

      Susanne,
The article is called A Very POTUS Narcissist.

    5. Kathy Mor says:

Because he is too obvious and boring as a person. What is the mystery?

      1. Chihuahuamum says:

        Agreed!!!

  37. Mercy says:

Good morning HG, I’m loving the slow reveal. Very seductive! Please don’t stop with the hand and legs.

Obvious choice #1 Santa because I know it will be a good read with your creative skills. I want to see what will be said about the jolly man.

I also picked Obama. I would think all world leaders would have to have high narc traits. Obama seems like a very sincere man which makes me believe if he is, he is in the greater category.

Taylor Swift only because I like her style

Kanye, he may be too easy for you. It will still be fun to bash him in the comments. He can’t be forgiven for what he did to Taylor.

Oprah just because I know of her and I’m interested on your take

    1. Kathy says:

“Boys only want love if it’s torture
      Don’t say I didn’t say I didn’t warn ya
Boys only want love if it’s torture
      Don’t say I didn’t say I didn’t warn ya” 😉

  38. Lou says:

    I voted for:
    Oprah
    Elizabeth II
    Mother Theresa
    Picasso
    Santa.

I chose Santa because I always thought of him as an alcoholic overeater with no sense of fashion whatsoever. But who would not become all that living in the North Pole 364 days a year?
Did not suspect NPD there. But I definitely see some red flags now:
    1) He is a saint
    2) fake laugh
    3) future fakes children and brings crappy gifts or no gifts at all ( especially to poor children)
    4) steals the spotlight from Jesus every year
    5) Works with capitalist narcs and makes a lot of money himself selling his image

    Look forward to the articles.

    1. K says:

      Lou
And God only knows what he does with the poor elves.

      1. Lou says:

        K,
I did not receive any notification for your comment (or the one from Bubbles). I saw it today by chance.
Just wanted to say that Mrs Santa Claus must have an idea of what her husband does with the elves, but does not say anything because she enjoys being Mrs Santa Claus. Probably a case of two narcs colliding.

        1. K says:

          Lou
I know, right, narcissists love to gas light everything. What happens in the North Pole stays in the North Pole.

  39. E&L says:

Hey all, another fascinating (yet, nauseating at times) documentary that may be of interest to you is GRINGO. It is about the John McAffee, a software developer from the 80’s/90’s. It was featured on Showtime.

    1. HG Tudor says:

Did he keep popping up in the corner of the bastard screen every day inviting you to renew your subscription?!

      1. E&L says:

He is into pooping down, not popping up (unless he is garnering residuals).

      2. blackunicorn123 says:

        😂😂😂

      3. MB says:

Ha ha HG. I feel your pain on the McAfee subscription!

      4. amanda SNapchat says:

“Did he keep popping up in the corner of the bastard screen every day inviting you to renew your subscription?!” HAHAHA

      5. BurntKrispyKeen says:

        😃

    2. MB says:

Thank you for that E&L. I had no clue! Maybe I should switch to Norton. I’m going to see if I can find the documentary.

      1. Former Innocent Perse says:

You might want to check with your service provider.Mine has a security suite included at no extra charge.
But here are instructions on how to “uninstall” McAfee:

        https://youtu.be/bKgf5PaBzyg

Rolf Harris name in here had me ROFLMAO! He had disappeared a long time ago, I thought. He was not only tying his kangaroo down, I guess he was slipping his hands into underage knickers. Ick!!!

I picked 2 that I think are not narcissist, but highly narcissistic, interested what you will have to say about them. If they stay in the top 5.

2 that I think are narcs.

And of course, the jolly old elf, himself, since that is who my N would pretend to be to the outside world at this time of year.
It’s wonderful that I no longer have to put up with Dickweed ruining my holiday while jollying up everyone that is not a family member!

  40. Anm says:

    HG,
But you promised me you would do Elon Musk. Interesting options. I vote for President Obama. I think he is a Magnet Empath and Michelle Obama is an Upper Midranger. I would love to be proved wrong.

    1. K says:

      Anm
I think Elon Musk and Obama are the narcissists and Michelle is the Empath.

      1. K says:

        P.S.
To be clear: Barry/Barack is the N.

      2. Anm says:

K, can you elaborate on the Obamas?

        1. K says:

          Anm
HG sums it up quite nicely, I think.

As for Obama, there is no doubt that he has narcissistic tendencies. Most leaders have otherwise they would not be where they are. I know many people think he is a narcissist and I think ultimately he is. He has charm in spades and I think he is highly adept at maintaining a brilliant façade (whereas Trump cannot help but show his true colours although he is smart enough to realise this works for him because he is very much a demagogue). I would vote for Hillary but as you say it is the lesser of two evils.

    2. amanda SNapchat says:

thanks for these series HG. Top

  41. Newby 1111 says:

Oh HG, I do so love your surveys! A Christmas gift so sweet. Thank you!
Learned a lot checking out the unfamiliar names. Good challenge to while away the hours.
Many surprises, but then I really am a Newby and not getting rid of gullible just yet.
    1. I picked Oprah because I have been watching her since her start. I really believe she is an empath. Pretty enlightened. I think she has had to develop narcisms with all the crap that comes with fame.
I truly believe if the numbers were not in the thousands, she would be empathic to everyone who asked of her time. Her shield had to go up.
    2. Barack Obama. I love that man. I hold on to every word he speaks. He seems so real. Come on…..that clip when he drove the car around the White House with Jerry Seinfeld, he is so real.
Can hardly wait for the Tudorscope on this one. Although maybe not. I might cry. I need this illusion.
    3. Batman!! Well as I am Catwoman it would be purr-fectly batty.
    4. Santa Claus????Really??? I just can’t take too many more burst bubbles. Although he did ask me, “Have you been naughty, or have you been really REALLY naughty? So yeah, I guess maybe he’s one too.
    5. Elvis, well, uh-huh- huh! Brrrrrrrr, now I’m really all shook up.
Not with those eyes, and shy smile. If a narc, like Oprah, it was armor.
Looking forward to seeing how “off” I was, or how much I’m getting it thanks to you HG. And, interesting leg shot!! Have you any idea just how many Google images of Brit’s leg shots one can while away the hours on? I think CW found a match. LOL

    1. lisk says:

      “I need this illusion.”

Wow! I find this to be an immensely profound insight.

It about answers the question of why we allow narcs into our lives.

  42. Heidi says:

I am surprised that Elizabeth is on the list and yet Philip and Charles are not.

    1. HG Tudor says:

It’s not an all encompassing list

      1. Former Innocent Perse says:

I do hope you have a go at Charles soon. I felt sad for Diana, I think she thought that Charles loved her, but she was instead, an acceptable choice to play a part. I think he didn’t tell her, because her type would only marry if she loved, not to gain a princess title only.

        HG,
What is your opinion, please. Is it easier to ensnare empaths since marriage became about love? Or did marriage as business partnership make narcissists getting fuel easier?

        1. HG Tudor says:

The injection of love into the equation and the link to the love devotee empathic trait will have made it easier.

  43. NarcAngel says:

Wow. After reading through the comments, think there may be a lot of shocked people (depending on who is chosen to be analyzed).

    1. windstorm says:

      NarcAngel
I agree. People seem certain both that some are narcs and that some are empaths that are going to be a surprise.
