I dont think I was even told that it was my duty I just remember vaguely in my childhood if I didnt do something that it got harped on and he would give me a sermon….and afterwards I would feel as big as an ant. Or I can remember he would say things like ” son I shouldn’t have to tell you…you should already know…well I’m talking to you …HELLO… well dont just stand there while I’m talking to you son…dont you hump your shoulders at me again…look at me when I’m talking to you… and then comes “the stare” he would look through me and not even fucking blink. I remember I would be dismissed sort of how hg would end his videos like kinda just if he stopped talking and looked away then I knew I could walk away and shortly after that I remember I would want to go to my room and hide my face and never come out and if I had too I would come back around him and he would I guess feel my vibe and he would address it as “well what’s wrong with you no need to carry that shit around?” and I would just smile to him and he would go….”whatever” and walk off
