A Very Royal Narcissist – Part 13 – Snapshot Analysis

Untitled design-4

The “A Very Royal Narcissist” Series is an extremely useful high profile example of the behaviours of a Mid Range Narcissist who has ensnared an empathic victim as the Intimate Partner Primary Source. It also demonstrates the interaction with other individuals in the narcissists fuel matrix. The subject has been determined to be a narcissist based on extensive information over a prolonged period of time (see A Very Royal Narcissist 1 and A Very Royal Narcissist 2 ) and once again for The Hard of Understanding, this is nothing to do with race or gender, it is about narcissism. This Snapshot Analysis is provided for you to see the latest (and ongoing) behaviours of Meghan Markle, through the lens of narcissism so you are able to translate the behaviours and see what is REALLY going on.

This series is also designed to enable you to apply what you see her to dynamics you have experienced, either with romantic, familial, work and/or social interactions with individuals who you may now realise is a narcissist (for help in determining this, use this Narc Detector ). It is also a series that YOU can use to show to someone else who you may suspect is ensnared with a narcissist but who has not been able to see it. Since these various updates and analyses have been provided, many people have contacted me to explain they have now realised that they were ensnared by a narcissist and the articles gave them clarity.

The subject is a Mid Range Narcissist, this means she does not know what she is, does not see anything wrong with what she does, operates purely by instinct and will not change (see Is it Planning? to understand more and search “Mid Range” in the search bar above to increase your understanding.

The following information was reported in the British newspaper the Daily Mail. My breakdown is in bold and italics.

Meghan Markle has told friends there is nothing ‘legally stopping’ her and Prince Harry from using their Sussex Royal name, despite the Queen banning them from using it, DailyMail.com has learned. (The Queen banning its use amounts to Challenge Fuel to Miss Markle (see 3 Key Interactions  for more ) which means that her narcissism must automatically and instinctively reject this Threat to Control. A narcissist exists to assert control over all relevant people at all times, as far as is possible and does so through a combination of manipulations, some benign and others malign. In this instance, the Queen´s declaration makes her the Prime Threat to Miss Markle´s control. Since it is the Queen, this is problematic for Miss Markle because

1. She will not be in a position to confront the Queen to argue with her about the ban

2. She is unlikely to be in a position to communicate directly with the Queen to debate the imposition of the ban.

This means that her narcissism will find it very difficult, if not impossible to assert control (and it must assert control) over the Queen. Instead, her narcissism reacts by causing Miss Markle to tell her friends that there is nothing “legally stopping” her and Prince Harry. This declaration evidences Grandiosity, Sense of Entitlement, Lack of Accountability. It is aimed at Painted White supporters who will no doubt agree with her (they are thus under control) and by making such a statement, Miss Markle´s narcissism will cause her to believe (in her world as she operates through a different Narcissistic Perspective) that is thus in control and has the whip hand. Therefore she has (in her world) successfully asserted control over the Queen. The Threat to Control has been dealt with.

The 38-year-old complained to her inner circle that using the name ‘shouldn’t even be an issue in the first place and it’s not like they want to be in the business of selling T-shirts and pencils,’ the insider said. (Pity Play, Sense of Entitlement, Poor Boundary Recognition)

They added: ‘Meghan said she’s done with the drama (Blinded to the Hypocrisy) (Also Assertion of Control) and has no room in her life for naysayers, (Black and White Thinking – you are either with me (you are giving me control and are painted white) or against me (you threaten my control and therefore you are painted black) (Assertion of Control) and the same goes for Harry.´(Speaking on behalf of Harry – victim seen as Extension of Narcissist, Grandiosity).

On Tuesday,  the DailyMail revealed the Queen and senior officials agreed the two could no longer keep the word ‘royal’ in their ‘branding’, despite the likely thousands of dollars Meghan and Harry have already sunk into their website and trademark applications.

The news did not sit well with Meghan, as her friend explained: ‘Meghan said the global projects they are working on speak for themselves and they chose that name to protect the royal name, not profit off of it.’  (Grandiosity, Facade Management, Lie, Assertion of Control)

The friend continued: ‘Meghan said the name of their brand pales in comparison to the foundation they are building and the enormously positive impact it will have on people and the environment.’ (Facade Management, Grandiosity, Belittlement, Hypocrisy (if the name of the brand matters so little, why make such a fuss about saying there is nothing that could be done to legally stop its use. This shows the classic behaviour of certain narcissists by saying one thing and moments later contradict themselves but they are unable to see that they have done so. All that matters is control, so in once instant, to assert control Miss Markle declares nothing can be done legally to stop the use of the brand (because saying that is the most effective way to assert control as explained above) and then shortly thereafter claims the name isn’t that important, this being said in order to assert control in a different way.

But, the insider added: ‘Meghan has told her inner circle that their success is inevitable with or without their current brand name. (Grandiosity, Magical Thinking)

‘She said regardless of the name, Harry and Archie have royal blood and no one can take that away. And that as a family, they will always be considered royalty. (Character Trait Acquisition, Others As Extension of Narcissist)

‘She said they know what their true intentions are and that’s all that matters. (Haughty – such delicious irony in that statement also, since a Mid Range Narcissist never knows his or her true intentions owing to the blinding effect of that type of narcissists narcissism.)

DailyMail.com did not receive a response from Meghan’s team after reaching out for comment.   (Silent Treatment)

On Wednesday it was announced the couple would no longer have an office at Buckingham Palace starting in April, following their decision last month to step down as senior royals.  The source added: ‘Meghan told her close friends that letting go of their staff (in England) shouldn’t have come as a surprise to anyone. ‘ (Pity Play, Blameshifting, Lack of Accountability)

    OMG

I have just read something tonight which is so almost incredible it defies belief. However, if it is true then it explains so very much. Timings of announcements, movements, babies.

However, I will add a cautionary note. Sometimes we are Blind. People can and will Gossip.

I will say no more other than that I am THOROUGHLY disgusted IF it is true.

  2. Renarde says:

Not quite Sparkles related but after getting into a ‘bit of a ruck’ with Jim Morrisons widow (No really) about Charlie boy, this gem presented itself via comments on the DM.

    Enjoy! I certainly learned something.

So MM and Harry moved to California, I think because she wants to pursue an actual career here. Then Donald Trump posts this on Facebook:

“ I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom. It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada. Now they have left Canada for the U.S. however, the U.S. will not pay for their security protection. They must pay!”

That got me laughing. I remember when MM said that she will never live in the US while Trump is the president. It would be quite entertaining if Trump decides to troll MM while she is living here.

  4. Violetta says:

They’ve moved to Cali, where the divorce laws will allow her to take him to the cleaners. But she’ll probably postpone the divorce until she sees whether her King Ralph fantasy comes true. The UK isn’t so toxic that she wouldn’t swim all the way back to be Queen.

I don’t think she realizes that if six places went empty at once (which I sincerely hope they do not), the kindest possibilities would be either calls for a Republic or requests for Anne to step in.

As for the unkindest, at this point, MM wouldn’t even be Marie Antoinette. She’d be the Princesse de Lamballe.

  5. Dolores Haze says:

MeAgain posted that everyone who’s bored at home these days should take an online course to become a psychologist and help people with mental issues, which is a criminally dangerous bullshit on so many levels. I reported this post to IG for spreading misinformation. Unfortunately IG doesn’t yet have a “report post for being narcissistic” category.

    1. HG Tudor says:

Good job really otherwise I would have some issues.

      1. Violetta says:

The post included the following gems:

        – ‘If you are in an abusive relationship and now find yourself in isolation with your abuser, these counselors are there for you. You do not need to suffer in silence.’

(No word if Harry’s availed himself of such services.)

        – ‘And for those of you who don’t feel comfortable texting with a stranger, reach out to your friends, family and colleagues.’

(No word on whether h&m have expanded their extended family from one mother-in-law.)

        – a bright turquoise image which included the words: ‘Today I feel…’

(No comment. Is any comment possible?)

OT, where do I enter the discount code? I’m just getting standard card info and a Blue “Pay Now” button at the bottom.

        1. HG Tudor says:

          You enter it at checkout.

          1. Violetta says:

So that’s AFTER I click “pay now”?

          2. HG Tudor says:

I sent you a screenshot through email

      2. Violetta says:

Anyhow it should be “report post for Narcissists who won’t admit it.” (It’s the Narcsite equivalent of the “Parental Advisory Label Program” we got in the ’90s, so kids would have to work harder to get their 2LiveCrew.)
The real problem with MM etc. is false advertising.

        1. HG Tudor says:

          Wise words.

    2. FYC says:

Haha, Dolores, Thanks for sharing that. At least MeAgain is very consistent. Sounds eerily similar to her “Words for Prostitutes” on bananas effort. I’m sure an army of armchair psychologists will solve the problems of the world about as well as the bananas. It’s evident that MeAgain has not taken many online classes herself. Classic midrange delusion that such a comment is making the world a better place.

      1. Kathleen says:

Figuring in projection…. things must be not be going so great at her home…lol. Not surprising…

        1. Violetta says:

          Kathleen:

You know, I think that a lot of her condescension is a way of distancing herself. If she’s “helping” people in dysfunctional relationships, surely her own couldn’t be a disaster. If she’s “encouraging” prostitutes with her Perky Produce Platitudes, surely no one could mistake her for a skanky ho who knows the ceilings in Soho House all too well.

    3. Lorelei says:

She is a very disordered woman.

      1. Dolores Haze says:

It was a shockingly stupid and harmful post, so aloof, so condescending, so missing the point of how deadly dangerous it is to try to “cure” someone’s depression or anxiety being an amateur, so disrespectful towards medical professionals who studied and practiced for many years to be able to treat patients with mental health problems.

HG, you do narcissism like a boss. You never do stupid. She does, dangerous AND stupid. F***ing mid-rangers.

        1. Lorelei says:

Lack of self awareness is highly, and rapidly becoming much more unattractive. Whether friend or potential romantic endeavor. The elementary behavior. She is an excellent example. A lesser is more honest because they don’t even have the facade really.

  6. Violetta says:

The answer to to the optional question is, of course, that she is a narcissist, and more than a few people got it

The most important section is this one:

It was like nothing you can really describe,” William recalled in Diana: 7 Days. “They were shouting, wailing, literally wailing at us, throwing flowers and yelling and sobbing, breaking down. People fainted, collapsed.” They reached for Harry, they pulled him toward them, and he had the impression that they didn’t want him just to ease their own grief, but to break down as they were doing. “Well, to whose benefit would that be?” he asked with some bitterness in the documentary.

Turns out it was to Meghan’s great benefit, years later, although the article’s author doesn’t seem entirely to grasp that.

    1. Renarde says:

      Violetta

Thank you for posting that. In many ways, it is well written but spectacularly fails to grasp the point of the header.

It has brought back many memories.

I had failed three of my second year undergrad exams. I had been breaking down for a long time. I took a late train to my university city. I hailed a Hackney and he turned to me and told me Dodi had died and Diana was very seriously injured. We listened to the wireless as he drove me to where I lived.

When I got in I turned on my radio. Then I heard that she had died.

I wrote on the blackboard in the hall ‘Diana is Dead’.

I dont think I got much sleep that night.

There was a lot of furore about HMs actions but the single thing that struck me at the time was allowing those boys to walk behind her cortege. That was deadly wrong. Criminal. And it sewed the seeds for Meghan.

Many years later and I’m now teaching. One boy, bright young nipper told me that his father was the French Ambassador who phoned PC to tell him his ex-wife had died. I have no reason to doubt him. He was good and he had a French surname. That brought me up, quick smart.

PH had an empathic mother and a narcassitic father. Like I suspect quite a few of us have had a mixed bag.

I have no words. He needs to get Archie away from her at all costs. Fortunately he has access to the best legal minds in the world.

      Unlike us.

      1. Violetta says:

        Renarde:

We have access to the best Narc mind in the world (if there’s a better, I don’t know of it). Lawyers won’t do PH a particle of good until he’s freed his mind enough to consult them.

Unfortunately, there’s no Angel Assistance Fund to have Harry smacked upside the head until he sits down long enough to listen to whatever HG materials one might send him.

        1. Renarde says:

          Vi

          Agreed. Totally.

I bought the ‘Inside Track’ a couple of days ago. I wept.

The need, the wanting to help someone. If they could ONLY see. But they cannot until they are ready.

I desperately feel for him. As I do another friend who is being absolutely hoodwinked by a nasty, dirty, piece of shit. She still cannot see it. Its horrific because she does so much good. Shes so talented and hes a useless cocklodger. Gawd, I’d only need five minutes with him. By ten, I’d have him screaming for Mommy.

So angry today. Ive been attacked more times in 24 hours than I would have done normally in a week. Cabin fever is bedding in.

Now, I must retire and read a piece on Randy. This one is not going away.

Oh and I read a piece today in The Fail about HM. She weathered the storm with Randy and Markles but now the comments have utterly gone against her. Never seen the like.

Shes ‘waiting for the right time to comment’. Lots are saying ‘too late’ and variations on a theme.

Shes lost it. Again. Just like when Diana died. The Monarchy is now over.

Hope you are keeping well and that your BP isnt as high as mine atm.

More if this and I risk turning into a Gammon! X

Meghan Markle’s farewell wardrobe was a ‘masterclass in revenge dressing’ designed to show the monarchy what it’ll be missing, claims Vanity Fair – and draws comparison to THAT Princess Diana dress

Revenge for what? Hung out to dry how?

V on a DM Article about MM and PH supporting UK military vets–presumably from Canada–referred to “Communal Narcissism” and urged readers to look it up.

Frankly, I think the Narcsite classification of mid-ranger with traits of Overwhelming Angel and Angel with Dirty Face captures her combination of self-righteousness and intrusive but useless “benevolence” much better.

      3. MB says:

FYC, you had me at glitter! Are you manipulating me? 😂

I poked around in the forum a little bit yesterday. I’ve lost interest in sleuthing. No way will HG ever let us figure it out. I’ve paid attention here at HGTU. The games are always being played and HG always wins. I enjoy the recordings for the entertainment value, but as far as the sleuthing goes, I’m only chasing my glittery Unicorn tail and making a complete fool of myself in the process. Y’all are the better ones for this task. I really don’t have what it takes. Without much in the way of confirmation, I really do get disenchanted. I’ll only bring you ladies down.

        1. FYC says:

Dear MB, You never make a fool of yourself, and you have never, every let us down! You have made many educated guesses based upon partially available information and many have helped us all. I have been wrong many times, and I will be many more, but that just means I will take a different look. That’s the fun of it. It’s not about being right, but applying ourselves and learning in the process. We all have stumbled upon some correct pieces of the puzzle and we have many more to discover. I want you there with us in the process. We need your unicorn horn to dig up a different perspective. We are all in this together. So yes, I will once again draw upon my narc traits to glitter bomb you into saying yes! You are missed. You are appreciated. Come on back. New clues are added daily by the group. Tick tock. Glitter awaits!

        2. Violetta says:

I’m not trying to sleuth where/who/which at all. I’m just trying to see the world through his eyes. Depeche Mode, Viking, pale blue wool.socks, curiosity about dead bats without either revulsion at the corpses or pity for his cousin… I want to get a sense of what it’s like to be HG, although obviously I can only get a tiny fraction of the whole picture.

I have trouble reconciling poetry and narcissistic psychopathy, even though they have co-existed quite comfortably, in Byron definitely and probably in Shelley.

Look at the pics of Harry from 2012 and look at him now:

            https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8089389/RICHARD-KAY-looks-Harrys-life-long-passion-armed-forces-come-sudden-end.html

NO ONE should age that much in 8 years, unless he’s had a catastrophic illness or injury. Wills has the hereditary hair loss, but he looks pretty good otherwise.

I really hate this bitch. She loves him so much she turns him into someone else. If the cute (in a raffish way) soldier could look.forward and see himself, transformed into wimpy woke WomanPower Wuss, would he even recognize it was the same person?

The photos of him looking shell-shocked at the Albert Hall as the reality sank in, or of her glaring at him in the car afterwards honestly made me shiver.

There are still people claiming “They are two of a kind,” “Harry is just as bad,” etc. They do not know what it is to be ensnared by a Narc.

          2. Renarde says:

            Violetta

My God. Picture 14/15, he looks fit and buff. Hes not yet 40 is he? Poor man!

I think one of the issues with PH is that hes headstrong but also empathic. That’s a devious set of traits to exploit because he coukd literally be his own worst enemy.

And yes, I saw that picture too. With Sparkles glaring. DM did well to capture that. I’m sure you also saw how many commentators saw it.

Now that I’m reflecting, it looks like hes disassotiating rather than just ignoring her as I first thought.

The empathic and normal members of The Firm must be beside themselves.

(For those unfamiliar with British pantos, they’re kind of interactive children’s theatre. You’re supposed to tell characters “He’s behind you!” when another character sneaks in. If a character says, “Oh, no you won’t!” the audience chants, “Oh, yes she will!” Never been to one, but they sound like silly fun.)

Hilarious. Equally hillarious is how the DM is now over them like a rash!

          Bonkers!

          1. Violetta says:

            Renarde:
But they are also letting through some very hostile comments, which are also getting the most green up-arrows. DM may be slimy, but stupid they are not. “No, M’Lud, we said the most complimentary things about her in the article, but our readers….Free Speech of the public …”

Most of the friendly comments about the Sussexes are trolls trying to get a rise out of people. There are a few “Stop the bullying–remember Caroline Flack” posts, which are probably sincere, but most of them are wind-up merchants. “Barnaby Bear” used to post as “Grey Knight from Oklahoma,” and spout comments about how Meghan was “the daughter the Queen sadly never had,” always followed by angry reminders that there was a Princess Royal. Another claiming to be a Tank (they do a lot of that) jeered that of course Harry preferred an American woman to “all you fat British women with your biscuits & crisps.” I replied, “Nice try, but your crisps are our chips, your chips are our fries, and your biscuits are our cookies. You’re American like I’m the Grand Duchess Olga.”

Heh. Now THAT reminds me DISTINCLY of someone. By ”Tank’ do you mean USMC? A Jar Head?

And I agree. The majority of trolls on there who are loving Queen Meghan are just that. Idiots who have their tiny peens in their hands.

Well done for the call out! But what a fricken’ cheek!

I’ve dissembled his semtence through @Ren Towers’.

Turns out that despite whatever side of the Atlantic he is based: he aint getting laid.

            Poor dear.

            Maybe he needs the AAF?

          4. Violetta says:

            Renarde:

Yank. *”$& autocorrect. (Or my big fingers.)

          5. Renarde says:

Ahh. I understand. It’s difficult to know isnt it? Which side of the pond they are based?

I do see quite a few commentators who are claiming to be US, that they cant stand her either.

          6. Violetta says:

Renarde: I can often tell through the slang, spelling, and usage, but not always. I don’t know if they’re seriously trying to revive that 18th-century bit of unpleasantness or they’re just trying to annoy their respective countrymen for fun. When someone implies that MM’s behavior is typical of either Americans or actresses, I clarify that it is not. It is, however, typical.of Narcissists.

Then, of course, I send them here.

          7. Renarde says:

            Violetta

Was just reading some comments today. On FB. There is a sizeable amount of people who love her. Even now. Horrendous.

          8. Violetta says:

            Renarde:
Speaking of acting, since my unemployment benefits have just run out (got a bit of an extension working part-time at F.U.) and there’s no reason to wallow in this Midwestern college town, I’ll be traveling to the east coast, probably staying in Joisey in the beginning, to a) send feelers out for a copyediting job there, and b) audition for my vocal coach’s show, which found a home at a fairly well-known indie theatre.

If I don’t get it, I’ll come back and apply to state govt., where I worked when I was finishing my dissertation. If I do, I’ll have to figure out whether I can crash with a friend during the rehearsals and run in exchange for bartered services or financial contributions from office work (I’ll sign with a temp agency).

Problem is, you can’t get a rental unless you can show you’re employed, and they’re reluctant to hire you if you’re not local. However, a temp job gets your foot in the door, and may lead to something else.

What my vocal coach said about the Megster was her theatre work in high school actually showed promise, but her camera work…the way he put it was “She knows how to find the camera, but she doesn’t know what to do with it.”

I don’t know if she concentrated on camera work because of Daddy or because it means more publicity and possibly money than stage work. I do know that in clips of her in “Into the Woods” and singing “Santa Baby,” she does indeed show potential, connects with the audience, and is clearly having fun. I can’t imagine why anybody would want to give that up, though I understand sometimes people have to. I couldn’t count the people I knew who have day jobs but do community theatre or church basements every chance they get. Some of them wait tables, some are Park Ave. lawyers.

In her case, I doubt she’ll get all the offers she expects. Aside from being a pain to work with and not stunningly talented, she lied about union membership and admitted it with a casual laugh during an interview. The unions will not take that lightly.

The only people who hate SAG, AFTRA, and Equity more than non-union members who are closed out of union auditions are the union members who pay their dues and see the whole thing cast through agents anyway, because they held union auditions only so they wouldn’t get sued.

The real problem is at some point, she decided she wanted to be a star, rather than an actress. Some people manage to be both, but she made a choice, whether consciously or unconsciously. She cares NOTHING about the craft of acting, although she studied it in college.

Even her wardrobe choices during her Duchess gig show no awareness of the part she was supposed to be playing. Her makeup never takes into account differences between lighting and setting; she doesn’t even seem aware that in public appearances, you have to compromise between being seen at a distance by the crowd (vivid makeup) and close-ups or midshots by photographers (for which you have to tone it down). When she and Haz went through that b/w photo phase, she didn’t seem to notice that it requires different makeup and clothing choices from color.

I think she’s not even interested.

          9. Renarde says:

            Violetta

Wow! Amazing post! Lots to talk about!

First thing is, you sound like you know where you’re going. It’s good to have a clear plan and it sounds like you know your own mind and where you are going. In my own experience, I have always struggled and certainly in later life, on what I should be doing next.

Personally, I think that there are great similarities between my own profession of teaching and acting. Us teachers often remarked upon it.

I agree with you on ‘why would anyone give it up?’ Same for teachers. But theres the difference. Teachers are usually forced to give it up because it’s almost NEVER the classroom and almost always the SMT.

On the back of our conversations, I did google vids of Sparkles speaking. I honestly cant bring myself to watch Suits.

She does in the YT vid comes across in just explaining herself as capable and confident. If not slightly obsessed with the clothes of her Suits character.

As you are driven, so is she. But her talent as you describe was just a means to an end. All acting must be mirroring. As you point out, she ain’t THAT good.

She had a goal. I daresay she wanted Wills but that didnt happen. I would be extremely suprised if she hadnt made a move on Wills whilst she was with Haz.

What you have said about wanting to be a star is reinforcing what I believe about most narcs. They percieve themselves to be far more attractive than they are.

What the unaware fail spectacularly to understand is that it’s not just looks. You need charisma. Presence. The touch.

You need the whole package. Diana had it. So did Monroe. MM can never have it.

To my mind, female Ns come across as hard and brittle.

And I agree on her makeup. She hasn’t a clue because her perception of reality is out of step to a large degree with how others see her.

MM is attractive but she reminds me so.much of my ex friend. I feel sorry for her husband.

        2. Violetta says:

The thing is, MM doesn’t seem willing to age into a character actor. No one plays romantic leads forever, not even Gladys Cooper, who looked like this:

          https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn%3AANd9GcRBgBsj1JvRy2w7rHx6FlkLSchtterxKZIOQ31i79jCQ1Y2S6mb

          and this:

          https://stuffnobodycaresabout.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Gladys-Cooper-amazing-hair-postcard-rotary.jpg

when she was a young stage actress and postcard model, and eventually aged into this in movies:

          https://i.pinimg.com/474x/2a/06/8b/2a068b6fe81a9f70591b39bac2c77123.jpg

The woman worked for SEVENTY YEARS.

I’ve contacted my vocal coach, asked him to alert me to Coronavirus situation, since production could be affected by travel bans, requests to avoid audience/spectator events, or too many sick people to.provide either audience or reviewers. At this point, the world is so crazy, it puts my personal problems in perspective. Trust me, I spent a few teary-eyed, self-pitying days before I could plan fuck-all.

  12. Renarde says:

    HG

Considering Markles utter lack of facade management, do you think it’s possible that there is psychopathy in the mix?

    1. HG Tudor says:

      No.

      1. Renarde says:

        Fair play.

    1. SMH says:

Will be fun to follow when MM is back in town. We need a distraction from coronavirus anyway.

    2. Renarde says:

      Indeed V

      This is my choicest of quotations;

‘She said if anyone should feel insulted, it should be them. They never intended to capitalize on the word royal, and to insinuate they were somehow abusing their privileges is absurd.’

She is now so deluded, so out of touch. It’s almost like shes ‘running a Trump’. Except she simply doesnt have his influence. Yet. I wonder if she ever will?

I think what might be happening is this. Harry will have been privy to an enormous about of Royal Secrets etc. Lets face it; TRF as a whole arent exactly a bunch of nuns. He will naturally have told her. Why wouldnt he?

Everyone who marries in gets the gig. Except her. She saw potential leverage.

That’s her power and that’s why the Queen has bent over backwards to accommodate them both whilst simultaneously been firm on key concepts which threaten to undermine TRF in the now. But the future?

So the question really is, what does Harry know and precisely what has he told her?

  13. SMH says:

Excellent piece, HG. I had gotten a bit bored of the H&M saga but even the Grauniad was on it this morning. Then, of course, I had to drift over to the DM to read the comments. I read you last but you have confirmed what you have taught me to see for myself.

I don’t much like this new website but I guess I am in the minority and will get used to it. Just takes a bit of patience. For instance, I was going I to ask where the archives were right before I spotted them!

    1. HG Tudor says:

      Thank you.

Everything is there, but neater you’ll find it with a few seconds patience

      1. SMH says:

Patience is not one of my virtues. Funny but I had the same thing happen with my work email last week. They changed it as I was using it. It was very disconcerting and of course I complained, because how can I work if I cannot find anything? But now I love it!

        1. HG Tudor says:

Fair comment. People are generally troubled by change but soon adapt. I know you’ll love it almost as much as you love me SMH!

          1. Violetta says:

Impossible, GH. It may be sexy on a desktop, but it doesn’t have your voice.

          2. HG Tudor says:

            True.

          3. Violetta says:

            *HG.

            I need a proofreader.

            Oh, wait….

(That’ll teach me to post on insufficient caffeine.)

          4. FYC says:

V, I need something like Grammarly for WP too! Apparently my typing leaves much to be desired and I get so frustrated with my mis-edits and typos. I am going to seek a solution and will share it when I find it.

          5. SMH says:

Impossible, HG. It also doesn’t have your sexy legs.

  14. zwartbolleke says:

Ha ha, Mr Tudor, Kim with the bomb in his hand, you are brilliant! And who is holding the knife? Some Libyan guy?

  15. Abw Flying says:

    Btw..

I didn’t know that Kim Jong-un and the Pope attended their wedding.. I saw Victoria Beckham .. Bloody broadcasting.

  16. fox says:

I see you’ve been busy with your theme, HG! Very nice to see you have implemented a slideshow banner, a tagging system and pagination. It’s great progress and should make your site easier to navigate.

    1. HG Tudor says:

Many thanks, I’m pleased you like it and find it easier to navigate. It should scroll easier on a mobile and also load faster. It looks sexy on a desktop.

      1. Violetta says:

Definitely more readable layout. I do miss having more “recent comments,” since I don’t get notifications, but the stacking within threads more than makes up for it. This should reduce if not eliminate the “Whom/What am I replying to?” issue we’ve all wailed about.

        1. HG Tudor says:

Good. The recent comments are still there, just one simple click from home page to article and voila!

      2. Violetta says:

It is sexy on a desktop. Usually surf on my phone, but I had to check it out after reading that.

        1. HG Tudor says:

          Thank you Violetta.

      3. Violetta says:

BTW, over 400 up-arrows–so far!–on a Daily Mail comment referring readers to Narcsite. (Rather than making an independent comment, I sometimes go to the “Best” column and respond to a post that has been up-arrowed by multiple readers and has multiple replies, figuring that more people will see it. Readers often come back to see if someone has reacted to their reply or to the original post.)

Good posts to respond to are ones questioning Harry’s sanity, intelligence, or loyalty to his family or nation: I mention he has been ensnared and send them to relevant articles, in addition to AVRN.

Narcissists have fooled psychiatrists. Harry may not be the brightest bulb on the tree, but that’s not why she was able to trap him.

        1. Renarde says:

          Well done Violetta!

      4. lisk says:

FYI, in case you’re still working out kinks: it looks weird on an iMac with Safari browser.

        1. HG Tudor says:

Not from where I’m looking. What does ‘weird’ mean.

          1. lisk says:

Book ad photos stretch across the screen.

If you’re still working on the site, I’ll withhold my other comments. I’m assuming you’re sorting stuff out.

          2. HG Tudor says:

Yes, they are meant to be there it’s a slide show.

          3. lisk says:

I understand that. It does not seem to work well on my screen.

          4. HG Tudor says:

How does it not work well, do expand.

          5. lisk says:

I’ll try to write in an email at some point. Will be easier to do a screen shot and explain visually.

          6. HG Tudor says:

Thank you Lisk, that would be constructive. There is ongoing work with the slide show but do email me

          7. lisk says:

            My pleasure, HG.

      5. FYC says:

HG, brilliant selection on your new theme. This is a very mobile friendly format on all devices (I tried all three: desktop, tablet and mobile phone) with lightening fast load times and super streamlined navigation. One of the greatest improvements is in the comments section–far superior to the previous theme. Your new theme offers a very clean, crisp esthetic which seems to better highlight your well-loved, artistic graphics. Well done and thank you!

        1. HG Tudor says:

Thank you and also for being specific. I welcome people’s observations both for and against, but if people have an issue they need to provide particularisation about it rather than just write ‘its horrible’ that provides nothing of tangible value to work with. There will be some user issues as people become acquainted with slightly different layout (and most people having become familiar with one system find a new system anything from irksome to annoying until they are acquainted with it) so user issues will iron out pretty quickly. Aesthetics are subjective of course. It’s things such as load times, scrolling, accessibility, ease of commenting, ease of searching (for instance the search facility should be more prominent) where feedback in particular is welcomed.

          1. FYC says:

Very true, HG. Since I access your site from multiple devices on a regular basis from various locations, a truly mobile-friendly theme is important, and load times are critical (especially via wireless data). Both have improved with your new theme and are appreciated. As for the promotion of your books and programs, I find these ads helpful for those I refer to your site (and have received positive feedback from those who let me know they found what they needed). Thanks again for your ongoing efforts to improve our KTN experience.

          2. HG Tudor says:

            Thank you FYC.

          3. alexissmith2016 says:

I’m usually pretty happy with change. But would like to make one comment if I may and I’m uncertain whether this is somwhting which can be changed or not. But I do rather like to see the recent comments when I log on. At present I can only see them once I’ve clicked on an article and now I’m only able to see four. Previously I could see 10 or more (I never counted). I do enjoy reading your replies to others and it has always been a big draw for me. It wouldn’t stop me reading. It would just be nice if that part could go back to how it was if possible.

          4. HG Tudor says:

It has been extended to 15. All you need to do is click on the article (hardly a chore) and they will appear there. They have been moved from the home page to provide a cleaner view.

          5. alexissmith2016 says:

Wonderful! I do rather like it when you keep me happy HG

          6. I miss the flames ☹️

          7. HG Tudor says:

A personal visit IT and you can have flames galore.

  17. Lisa Mills says:

Dear HG thank you for your update. Couple of things – previous update you you posed some questions:

What did the Queen´s statement reveal before the Sussexes departure?

What did Prince Harry´s speech tell us about his mindset and current situation in his ensnarement?

Miss Markle´s father has entered the fray once again – what is he and what do his comments tell us?

Gain further brilliant insight and analysis on the continuing saga from HG Tudor in the next part of a Very Royal Narcissist – Part 13, coming shortly.

Not sure you shed light on these – yes on Meghan’s current mindset of course…

    KInd regards
    Lisa

    1. HG Tudor says:

I changed my mind about what I was going to write about.

      1. Lisa Mills says:

Is it because you are not quite sure about these other people’s thinking ie Queen, Markle Snr and Harry?

        1. HG Tudor says:

No, it is called a paucity of time.

          1. Lisa Mills says:

            I think that’s a non sequitur

          2. HG Tudor says:

You clearly don’t understand the phrase.

          3. strongerwendyme says:

So many narcs to write about…such a scarcity of time

          4. MB says:

I’ll be adding paucity to my list of HG vocabulary words.

      2. lisk says:

        A narcissist’s prerogative.

        1. HG Tudor says:

I also concentrated on Depp and Heard at that time.

          1. lisk says:

MM would not be pleased that you were focusing elsewhere . . . only she knew . . .

HG, I have referred DM readers to “Isolation,” “Perfect Sense,” “Word Salad,” & “Crazed” for articles on PH and MM, as well as AVRN, and “´The Game´ Is Always Being Played” for this article: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-8025267/Have-daygamed-Dating-trend-sees-men-stop-hit-women-street-broad-daylight.html#article-8025267

It would be a lot easier to track down the most relevant of your articles if you had an index either alphabetized or organized by subject. The chronological order slows it down, because I can’t always remember when I saw something. Sometimes keywords will pop it up on Google, but I’m not always sure whether a phrase was in your title or part of the main text.

I think you need to kidnap K, keep her in the turret room of Tudor Towers, and make her catalog you. Of course you would wear a mask to preserve your secret identity, but she would be rewarded by the daily proximity of your voice and the faint traces of Creed Viking.

(I am very sorry I suggested you might wear Axe in real life. It was quite tactless on my part, even as a joke, to imply that a lack of finances would lead to such a lack of taste.)

    1. Lorelei says:

I didn’t see the comment about wearing Axe! There is a men’s cologne—not expensive though that is heaven. I can’t reveal it.. Sigh.

      1. Violetta says:

        Lorelei:
The Axe comment is on The Golden Period.

        1. Lorelei says:

I swear I just bought my ten year old son Axe body wash! Haha

          1. Violetta says:

            He’s ten. It’s permissible.

          2. Lorelei says:

Correct Violetta. Any shower gel that smells good is just lovely! An old favorite of mine for ladies is Happy by Clinique. I’ve always felt happy wearing it. Currently I am wearing Flowerbomb nearly all the time. I always cheat on perfumes—and circle back. It’s a bit like hoovering for fuel. I’m nomadic and never resurrect the formal relationship, but have rather—encounters with the perfume. It’s always quite enticing.

    2. Renarde says:

I think an alphabetical list would be brilliant. Many a time I know the article but cant think of the name.

How about a Tudor Decimal System?

        1. HG Tudor says:

That’s easy – one and only one.

      1. Bibi says:

Puts me in mind of that line in European Vacation when the kid asks his dad, ‘Dad, what does the Queen do?’

Dad (played by Chevy Chase), ‘She Queens. And vacuums.’

      2. lisk says:

I get the funny feeling that at least one of The Queen’s advisor’s is reading your work, HG.

        1. Violetta says:

If they look at comments on British news sites, they could well have been referred to Narcsite.

Now if they could just get Harry to listen to a recording or two…five minutes of “Killing With Kindness” or “Crazy” would slap him upside the denial function. There’s that moment of, “But I know this speech….”

        2. Kathleen says:

Perhaps ..also- ..i think the Queen has over her long rocky and mighty reign -over the UK…she’s had to deal with plenty of bigger challenges than the vacuous MM.
to her it’s a no brainer and the details are for the tabloids to parse –

          1. lisk says:

If so, then I wonder why The Queen let MM in in the first place.

          2. Kathleen says:

True! I do wonder that as well. Well regardless… I hope the queen hangs in there for a few more years and continues on … Of course not being British I have very little knowledge about the true details of the monarchy-But I think of all the Royals she Seems to have comported herself with the most self-control and class through some extremely tough situations for the UK over her nearly 70 years of sitting at the top. Like an old oak… She stands firm.

          3. lisk says:

For a minute there, TQ looked like she didn’t stand very firm at all. Perhaps that worked for her in terms of overall strategy.

          4. Violetta says:

            Lisk:

She had to let everyone see what MM was. If she’d put her foot down too soon, she’d be accused of rushing to judgment, class-consciousness, adherence to archaic standards, etc.

HM was criticized for refusing to let Margaret marry a divorced man unless she gave up her place in the succession. Margaret married somebody else, and the marriage was a failure. HM was criticized for encouraging Charles and Diana’s marriage, which was also a failure.

I suspect HM recognized there was something “off” about MM right away, even if she didn’t use clinical terms for it. She’s met enough Americans and people in show biz, she wasn’t going to attribute what she saw to either of those factors.

If her advisors told her to ride it out and give MM all the rope she wanted, there’s a good chance it fit with her own inclination. William tried to slow things down, and Harry wouldn’t listen. Once MM had shown her contempt for British culture and British people, no one would accuse HM of being unfair. (Well, some diehards still do, but the majority are rightly disgusted by MM’s condescending routine, and I’ve even seen a number of comments saying things like “I’m ashamed to admit I used to be a fan of Meghan’s, but ever since she–” etc.)

Meghan has even tried to pull the “it’s because I’m a Feminist” routine, but 2nd-wave Feminist Germaine Greer ripped her a new one on that point. Greer has been shocking people for decades; you don’t let that little whippersnapper Meghan Markle take credit for standing up to comformity when most of the Feminism MM parrots hasn’t been controversial in a long time. Greer was writing when women had a LOT fewer options about careers and bad marriages than they do now. There weren’t even shelters for battered women when Greer was most active; call the cops, they’d show up and go away again. I’m old enough to remember that one.

What HG has written about Narcs “borrowing” characteristics from other people applies here. MM borrowed Feminism from somewhere just as she borrowed Diana’s charitable interests and struggles with the royal family. As Gertrude Stein said of the neighborhood where she had grown up, later urbanized, “There is no ‘there’ there.”

          5. Kathleen says:

Excellent points Violetta😊. So annoying when people keep harkening back to Diana – and think they know why everything is happening and it’s all due to Diana dying. The media and others assign their attributes to MM and H.
Looking forward to MMs next move in her game to control. I imagine she’s getting really bored and feeling like a mushroom up there and rainy and chilly Vancouver.

    2. lisk says:

“Don’t surround yourself with yourself. Move on back two squares,” is, in effect, what she’s telling them.

Now if only Archie could be captured.

      1. Violetta says:

        A Yes fan. Cool beans.

  22. Abw Flying says:

    It requires updating.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not intend to use ‘SussexRoyal’ in any territory post-spring 2020.”

The spokeswoman said trademark applications that were filed as protective measures “acting on advice from and following the same model for the Royal Foundation” have been removed.”
    ( BBC )

    1. Violetta says:

Are they going to remove that little coronet logo too?

  23. Violetta says:

“The 38-year-old complained to her inner circle”

How long has she been 38? Seems quite a while.

  24. Renarde says:

    Posted. Let’s see.

    1. HG Tudor says:

      Thank you for doing so.

  25. the world is full says:

Daily Mail… If you try to raise awareness about narcissism, your comment is (automatically) blocked. e.g.: Caroline Flank..

    1. HG Tudor says:

I understand from other readers TWIF you need to box a bit clever to feed the links.

    2. Violetta says:

      TWIF:

DM blocks URLs, but you can sneak specific article titles past them, i.e., “‘See the ‘A Very Royal Narcissist’ series on HG Tudor’s Narcsite.”

      1. HG Tudor says:

That’s the way to do it

  26. Kathleen says:

Thank you for this update HG! As the world turns.! It should be an interesting spring and summer. Will they attend Wimbledon? When do you predict they next visit jolly ole England? 🇨🇦😂🇬🇧

    1. HG Tudor says:

I suspect it will more likely be solo visits than ‘they’ visits

      1. Violetta says:

I wish they would nab him and do an intervention on him.

        1. Renarde says:

          Violetta

I think I maybe once commented that he had to come to his own clusions but now…not for sure!

      2. I’m glad you said that HG. That’s what i was thinking – bet she never arrives at all. I am really enjoying the series to the extent i cant wait for their next move, mainly because i now see exactly what she is doing. I am enjoying my new knowledge and ability to see the narc moves 😊

        1. Violetta says:

          Intrepid:
The things the crowds said to the Queen Mum during the Blitz (before the Palace was hit and she won them over) would be NOTHING compared to what MM would hear.

          Famous quotes:

“The children won’t go without me. I won’t leave the King. And the King will never leave.” (On being urged to send Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret away from London and Windsor, possibly even out of the country.)

“Now we can look the East End in the face.” (After the palace was bombed.)

“I feel the embryonic kicking of Feminism.”

  27. Bibi says:

Excellent, HG. I am very surprised, however, that more in the media aren’t seeing her grandiosity and sense of entitlement. She is pretty much wanting her cake and eating it too–so to speak. We want to be Royals without all the obligation.

    1. HG Tudor says:

I think more do see it but of course don’t know what it is. Get over to the Daily Mail article comments and post some links !

      1. Violetta says:

Have been doing and will continue doing. In addition to “HG’s Narcsite” and article titles, I’ve posted comments like this:

“It’s all there: ISOLATED from his friends & family, SALAMI-SLICING him gradually away from his culture & country, DEVALUATION (his name’s now “H”), her WORD SALAD speeches–look it up.”

I tested all the keywords at once–you show up third from the top. Will keep tweaking until you are first.

        1. HG Tudor says:

          Well done Violetta and appreciated

          1. Violetta says:

            You’re welcome, HG.

I think some sites don’t allow URLs, but Yahoo does, and now that I think of it, so do many vids on YT. I haven’t really utilized YT so far, but it occurs to me that news vids or privately posted clips about Megxit, Trump, Johnny and Amber, etc., would be great places to refer people to Narcsite articles.

Where URLs are blocked, I’ll continue using article titles and keywords.

          2. HG Tudor says:

Good thinking and thanks once again

        2. Trudy says:

Hi Violetta. I found this site through mentions of it in the Daily Mail, so keep up the good work. May I add to your sentence on Harry’s isolation? “…ISOLATED from his friends, family, and long-time therapist…I think the isolation from his therapist is significant.

          1. HG Tudor says:

Good work Violetta and welcome Trudy

          2. Violetta says:

Thanks, Trudy. Narcsite has been a real eye-opener to me and to many other readers.

I did not realize he’d been cut off from his previous therapist too. Of course he’s in Canada at the moment, but there are phones, email, Skype, etc.

I feel so sorry for the guy. A lot of British citizens have talked about how dim he is, but I was in a Master’s program when I met a Narc, and I didn’t have a clue what I was dealing with.

He was doing okay before he met her. His party animal phase was winding down, he was longing for a wife and kids. Had he met a nice girl who also wanted a family, liked horses, could tolerate shooting even if she wasn’t into it herself, and was willing to make him his beloved treacle tart now and again, I think he’d have been all right.

Of course, a nice girl wouldn’t have love-bombed him. He was ripe for it, alas.

        3. Lorelei says:

Violetta—these are good terms to use. We often hear people say, “Well he (or she) isn’t really awful to me.” They say this with zero self-esteem left, problems with alcohol, haven’t spoken to their family/friends. Abuse is not being hurled across the room in most cases so the use of these terms is very helpful. Abuse is really quite subjective, so giving people new phrases and adjectives can get their minds more readily wrapped around the gravity of behaviors. I had no idea what any of this meant, and I see it impacting people I care about.

          1. Violetta says:

            Lorelei:

You have a point. Unless they’re severing body parts like Amber Heard, the constant whittling away at self-esteem and Independence may not seem like abuse. And even in the less subtle cases, the victims may tell themselves, “I shouldn’t provoke him/her.” They can’t recognize that the abuse is like rain: it falleth on the just and the unjust alike.

          2. Lorelei says:

Thanks Violetta—I just got feedback on my practice project from the university staff on IPV screening mechanisms as a dissertation project. It’s a Joint Commission mandate in the U.S. that abuse be screened for and we don’t do it well. How can we when people don’t know that they don’t have to live in a certain manner? That it’s not necessary or normal. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. My proposal is that we will see a 10% rise in positive screens doing it differently. It may be more or less but I doubt I’m way out of the ballpark. I’ll ensure the doctor and counselor I went to get a copy upon completion—they clearly need the education because I sure as F**^ didn’t need a prescription when I got really sick.

      2. Bibi says:

HG, I did share but that site is dogshit with the ads. Holy crap. There was someone else who called her a narc sociopath. It seems in the UK they are on to her–it is other places, like in the US, Canada, where they are more PC about it and blame the UK for being ‘mean.’

        1. HG Tudor says:

It’s an easy and to some extent lazy response. Her treatment by the press has been somewhat harsh at times and that unfortunately muddies the water when trying to explain the real reason for the behaviour

          1. Bibi says:

Maybe you should add the * to Royal from here on out. Royal*. Haha.

      3. MommyPino says:

I have been sharing your MM articles on different YouTube videos related to her on the comments section and I have never had a technical problem.

        1. HG Tudor says:

          Thank you for doing so

          1. mommypino says:

            You’re very welcome!

      4. Caity says:

I did as well and got over 200 upvotes in less than an hour! Also read in a comment that on another news site, MM and Harry are ‘furious’ and considering suing for the right to use ‘royal’ as they’ve already spent so much money on branding. A Very Royal snit, she’s having! Brilliant article, HG, as usual!

        1. Violetta says:

Good show, Caity! Sunshine Sachs PR ain’t got nothin’ on the Tudoristas!

Btw, I may have said this elsewhere on Narcsite, but her assumption that she can claim royalty and not be challenged is mind-boggling without Narcissism as the framework. Americans do not have royal titles. MM had no connection with royalty except through Britain (including her distant descent from Edward III, which is true of a zillion others–he had an unusually high number of surviving offspring for a medieval ruler). She has rejected Britain (of which she never became a citizen) & clearly does not recognize the authority of Britain’s reigning Queen, so in what nation is she royal?
