    HG,

Just want to make sure I get the opportunity to wish you a fuel filled Christmas, positive, of course!

Thank you for all you have done for me this year. Every moderated comment, I know I’m wordy and you have never once moaned at me for that. You have graciously allowed me to get everything out of my system and that has been instrumental in my recovery.

Thank you for continuing to write such impactful and truthful material. You say what needs to be said in your work and also in your comments, even though sometimes I might not have wanted to hear it.

I am in a far better place than I was this time last year. I have you to thank for that.

To my fellow empaths. Thank you for hauling me upwards when I most needed it. Thank you for the fun, the laughs, the hugs and the hope. You have helped guide and keep me on the right path this year. Xx

Let’s all make the most of a different but hopefully heartwarming festive season.

    Merry Christmas!

    🤶🍾🎊🎉🎄🦄😘 (That should do it!)

I just listened to “Is It Love”. Wow, if you don’t have it, it is amazing. I am bursting, want to tell you all about it, cannot, ugh. So good. I had gone past it many times as I thought, well, we know narcissists can’t love. But, with 40% off, I thought, ok, now or never. Then, it didn’t download properly and I considered, given the inexpensive cost, not even pursuing it. I am so glad I did. Highly recommend. Haha, I am probably behind the curve here, as you all probably already have it! Lol!

    1. HG Tudor says:

      Thank you A Victor.

      1. A Victor says:

You’re very welcome. So glad I found your site!

    2. lickemtomorrow says:

I’ve passed this one by for the exact reason you state, AV. We know narcissist’s can’t love so no, it’s not love. I’m sure there are quite a few of these hidden treasures that get missed with so much on offer as well. You have encouraged me to think about purchasing on that recommendation. Don’t have it, will get it. Which means you’re not behind the curve at all x

      1. A Victor says:

If you do, I look forward to hearing your assessment, sometimes I wonder if it’s just where I’m at that causes one piece of information to hit harder than another. But this one really struck me. And, took me through a myriad of emotions too, which I did not expect.

        1. lickemtomorrow says:

Definitely where we’re at can have an impact, AV, and I know there are times where information passes me by and a second or third read will have me taking in more or something different. I’v had cause to reflect on the cognitive dissonance the narcissist leaves us with (in my case a lifetime’s worth) where our brains have been scrambled to a certain extent due to the narcissist gaslighting. The second guessing nature of the relationship, the questioning yourself, the ability they have to put you in a tail spin all add up to an element of dissonance and at times inability to grasp things. Speaking for myself here. But it adds up. So things will slip by me sometimes, and maybe that is until I am ready to hear them, too. There’s that aspect as well. A while ago someone told me I have a mind like a steel trap 😛 But that is all dependent on where and how I apply my focus. The fog the narcissist creates can certainly impact at times. And we filter information depending on its usefulness to us. Perhaps there are times we find some information more useful than others depending on where we are at. And the next time round we find another useful piece of information which didn’t register with us the first time. For now, I’ll prepare myself for the roller coaster ride of “Is It Love?” and report back when I am able <3

    3. lickemtomorrow says:

AV, I’m having the same problem as you with this one. Can you tell me how you fixed it?

      1. A Victor says:

        I emailed HG.

        1. lickemtomorrow says:

Well, I guess that’s my solution, too.

          Thanks, AV.

  3. Another Cat says:

“Doubtless exacerbating the rot occasioned by the arrival of text speak.”

    Well,

they do provide fuel, the emojis and the text speak. Informal and convey of emotions.

When in professional need to text a known narcissist, I always avoid these fellows. Your warning has relevance, HG. To empathic fellow humans I don’t mind slipping off a hieroglyph or two.

  4. Another Cat says:

    Witch

“… I don’t believe in starting weddings at 10am and making people wait hours before feeding them,”

Gonna sound like Chuck Norris now but: Now you’re talking about my favourite exercise ( = peeve)

See this is my main main problem with narcissists and some others too.

They never relax and enjoy themselves. We’re not at work, we’re at a dinner or party or pub and they are Full on working, talking to the right person, making business offers, arranging chats about whether their child could get a job at the friend’s office, dressing with impeccable style, making sure to excluded some people, they need to sit at table 5….

I mean I realize all those moves are useful,
but we have quite opposite definitions of party time.

    1. Witch says:

What do narcs even do at parties except act like an obnoxious twat or accuse their IPPS of flirting with everyone?

      1. BC30 says:

OMG, who starts a wedding at 10AM? That’s just cruel. I am a night owl and would probably not attend!

        1. Another Cat says:

A couple of friends from Chile/Bolivia invite me to a wedding which started at midnight. They said this wasn’t too uncommon. Funny, odd to me, but it worked. Wasn’t too posh, very friendly. We had drinks before it started.

          1. BC30 says:

That sounds fun! That I would do, but I’m not keen to add more ex-husbands to my collection. 😛

          2. Another Cat says:

            BC30

            LOL! 😀

      2. Sweetest Perfection says:

Mine hops from group to group and pretends to be exceedingly excited that everyone is there without really keeping a long, in-depth conversation with anyone. If you are targeted, though, he will scream “I FUCKING LOVE YOU!!!” in front of everyone, including his wife. ULA, my experience. Witch, a wedding at 10:00? In my country they don’t even celebrate first communions that early!

        1. Witch says:

The first ex narc would accuse me of fancying some ugly MF at the party or speaking to them for too long or accuse me of drinking too much or having too much fun
The second narc wouldn’t really give a shit what I’m doing, because he’ll be too busy speaking to everyone including people who do not want to speak to him and also harassing some poor guy by jumping on him and messing up his hair.
It’s actually embarrassing what I put myself through and what I tolerated tbh the shame will never leave me

          1. Sweetest Perfection says:

Don’t take care of the shame that belongs to them, Witch.

          2. Witch says:

            SP
I know people say that but should it though??
because if you met these guys… ppssshh I did myself wrong, I did myself so wrong!

  5. Renarde says:

    Hg

This is a terribly generous offer. Now that a third of the UK cannot move so Christmas is cancelled, I have more to spend.

I need to have a browse. Very tempted by another Hg mauls because they are so funny, accurate and informative.

I will wish you the Seasons’ Greetings and thank you for everything you do.

    1. fox says:

I have listened to all of the HG Mauls now and they are among my favorites of HG’s work. Every single one is gold and they especially tickle me when I can see a narcissist in my life being described.

      1. HG Tudor says:

I am pleased you enjoyed them.

        1. fox says:

I feel almost guilty enjoying them as much as I do, but sometimes you say things that I have often thought but dared not say aloud and inner me cries out YESSSSSSSS!!!! I am a sucker for a well-deserved, sharp-witted verbal slap.

      2. Renarde says:

        Hey fox!

I’ve only accessed two. UMRN and the LL. I’m tempted by them all frankly! All have merit. Arghh! Help me decide, please?

        1. fox says:

That is a hard choice, Renarde. They are all spectacular, but I think the MMR types A and B have a particular note of disdain that’s just *chef’s kiss*

          1. Renarde says:

            Ta fox! Intrigued!

      3. Renarde says:

        fox

I totally get the ‘being tickled’ sensation!

        1. BC30 says:

Renarde, What or who is your avi? I can’t tell.

          1. Renarde says:

            BC30

Oh ha! It’s from a FB app. What I’d look like as a Barbie!

          2. BC30 says:

Ah, a Barbie! I see now.

      4. Another Cat says:

        Diamond hard agree, Fox.

The Covid-19 Interviews also rendered me epiphanies. “Oh, so this is the School of X! Aha, this is family member Y.” (Wasn’t so creepy though as I had already figured out that those individuals are narcs) Strongly recommend.

        1. fox says:

Those were excellent too. HG has such a brilliant imagination!

          1. HG Tudor says:

            Thank you Fox.

    2. Witch says:

      @renarde
Half of the UK are going to breach the restrictions. Christmas isn’t cancelled for everyone

      1. Renarde says:

        Witch

Eh? A third of the UK have been placed into Tier 4. Overnight, I might add. The North has been kicked and then the South has. Predictable.

Half of the UK will not breach. A sizable minority WILL breach. Guess which those ones will be….

I have stopped everything. Many others’ are.

        1. Witch says:

          @renarde
Trust me, more than just the narcs will breach.
Maybe most will not breach by leaving their city as that’s too risky but they will breach by driving to another house hold for Christmas and spending the night.
The normals and the empaths will do this too because there are a lot of emotions around Christmas and they will be fed up from complying the rest of the year and then having Christmas taken away from them.
There are going to be many people breaching. I know people who already moved before the clock stuck 12am and will be spending the night else where which is a breach.
It looks like most people are breaching where they can

          1. Renarde says:

            Witch

I get you. I’m just not totally on board with total numbers there?

I percieve that we have three groups. The movers, the stayers and those that frankly cannot be arsed any longer.

Did you see BJ at PMQs this week? That dude lied at the Dispatch Box. Starmer saw it too. Already prepared he was.

Starmer did his ‘waving pictures/graphs/reports’ thing that he usually does. And then quoted from a report which had come from some random, Tory Constituency. It said,

‘Sometimes it is better to say the wrong thing at the right time rather the right thing at the wrong time.’

That must be Narc Double–Speak, Deflection AND Word Salad!

The Starmer kicker? ‘Did you write it, PM?’ Laugh? A tad.

An EPIC Starmer bitch slap. I believe as Boris sat down he said, ‘Ouchimus Maximus’ Then of course he twatted it up for the South mere days later.

            Bell-end.

          2. Witch says:

In my opinion the restrictions are stupid, because you’re still going to allow people to kiss hug and breathe in each other’s faces on Christmas Day, but they just can’t spend the night? Kids been going to school
People been coming in and out the country for time
How is the spread really being controlled?
they allowed everyone to do their Christmas shopping and breathe the same air just to say only Christmas Day allowed?
Virus already done spread just doing the Christmas shopping
And that’s why people will breach because they can’t be arsed anymore

          3. Renarde says:

            Witch

Let’s be precise. The original, Xmas T&C vis a vis Boris, were utterly both incredible and unfathomable. Flying in the face of SAGE’s advice.

He ignored it until he suited him.

        2. Another Cat says:

Meanwhile us and other countries already stopped flights and cars from the UK. I’m so glad I’m not a politician. I don’t envy them.

          1. Renarde says:

            AC

The second mutant form of the virus is already in your country. Probably wildly circulating in Europe since Sep.

      2. A Victor says:

        Same in the US.

  6. Truthseeker6157 says:

    Renarde,

I’m so glad you are back. I missed you. Xx

    How are you doing?

  7. Another Cat says:

Some ppl should stick to only emojis and quit letters altogether.

    1. Sweetest Perfection says:

      Type like, an Egyptian …

      1. Another Cat says:

Say one more funny thing and I’m afraid I’ll spend for one more KV product this year.

      2. Z - zwartbolleke says:

        Hahahahaha, SP, I liked that!

        1. Sweetest Perfection says:

I meant it as a joke, of course, but it goes beyond that. HG’s description of emojis as a tool for children doesn’t take into consideration the attempt to create a universal system of communication beyond different languages that we all recognize more or less. In that sense, emojis are not any different from most pictograms used in earlier writing, which later on, developed into ideograms or ideographs in ancient writing systems: Chinese characters, Egyptian hieroglyphs… even numbers are universal ideograms. Of course, the idea is that the symbol represents a concept universally known and shared by humans. Though as we learned here, not all humans experience the same range of emotions. That’s what I meant when I asked above: why would HG need emojis? In a sense, it is a way to go back to a basic and more rudimentary way of communicating, therefore you could say it is childish; but on the other hand, it is purely conceptual and as such, more apt to be universally accepted, plus most of them convey an instant meaning that economizes communication. My defense of emojis ends here, but Bubbles, I am with you!

          1. BC30 says:

“Think about it: what would he use emojis for?” To suit his purpose. Have we learned nothing about Ns? LOL

          2. Sweetest Perfection says:

            But he says he doesn’t.

          3. HG Tudor says:

            He doesn’t. Not says.

          4. Sweetest Perfection says:

I don’t know what you do. I only report what you say you do.

          5. Sweetest Perfection says:

You took away my emojis!!! HG!!! hahaha!!! You’re funny in a Machiavellian way.

          6. HG Tudor says:

            Bwahahahaha!

          7. lickemtomorrow says:

Appreciate your breakdown here, SP, and though I’m not a frequent user of emojis they certainly do create an option for expressing emotion via pictures rather than words, as well as provide an economy of communication. Plus, they’re pretty!

If we write all we have is black and white. Emojis add colour and emotion.

Then again, this is the narcissist’s world. It may help to see it from that perspective.

          8. Truthseeker6157 says:

            SP,

I agree with your point about the communication side. My narc hated emojis and hated ‘lol’. Hours and hours of online communication, so over time I just stopped using them. I sometimes feel that an emoji adds to communication though. I can be very sarcastic, so an emoji communicated ‘I’m only teasing.’ Similar with ‘lol’.

If you are reading someone, it’s very different as you can’t hear a tone of voice or see them giggling. I am mindful of being sarcastic here, I don’t want to be misinterpreted and I don’t want to wound HG inadvertently. If I used emojis, my dry humour would likely come out more.

          9. Sweetest Perfection says:

TS, EXACTLY. Surprisingly, hieroglyphs used what they called “determinatives” in a similar way; they were symbols added at the beginning or end of a sentence or paragraph to determine tone, to specify gender, and other subtle details. Emojis are great to be lighthearted and add intonation to what otherwise could be taken literally and be misunderstood.

          10. NarcAngel says:

            SweetP

” I don’t know what you do. I only report what you say you do.”

Good point. There’s all that trait acquisition to consider. They can catch a bag of peanuts at a ballgame and that becomes ” I played in the World Series”. Or you know – see the Salvation Army kettle guy ringing his bell and all of a sudden the narcissist is a champion bellringer. And a year early to boot.

(I’ll say Merry Christmas to you all now as I expect it will be locked under the drawbridge until the New Year.)

          11. Sweetest Perfection says:

Hahaha that’s so true, NA. The peanuts example is hilarious. Merry Christmas to you too! -kiss emoji under times of censorship from the Empire-

          12. Empath007 says:

Fight the good fight SP ! They absolutely add to communication. They may not be ‘necessary’ but most people misinterpret written communication when there is not body language/tone of voice to accompany it.

          13. Sweetest Perfection says:

            Freedom of speech and emotion!

            ❤️🍾 😘

          15. Sweetest Perfection says:

Thank you Bubbles! I would reciprocate but I’m under emoji arrest.

          16. A Victor says:

SP, hahaha! I think the Grinch, oops, the “glitch”, took a few emojis from Bubbles too! A couple of hearts at least. Lol!

          17. Sweetest Perfection says:

            Noooo! The audacity!

          18. BC30 says:

SP You are my champion! 🤩

          19. A Victor says:

            I know, right?! Haha!

          20. Bubbles🍾 says:

            Dearest SweetPea and A Victor,

            He was testing us!
            All good haha
            Luv Bubbles xx 😘

      3. BC30 says:

A glitch in the Matrix haha Carriers unite

        1. HG Tudor says:

Looks like It Is the Glitch That Stole Emojis.

          1. lickemtomorrow says:

            Haha, HG.

          2. BC30 says:

HAHAHA Call me out the one time I don’t use an emoji! 🤪

          3. Asp Emp says:

Brilliant, HG. (laughing) ‘the Glitch’….. your humour, is just brilliant….

          4. HG Tudor says:

            It is a weapon.

          5. Asp Emp says:

Ah, I don’t a great about weapons in general, so, thank you for explaining, HG.

          6. A Victor says:

            Hahaha!!!

        2. Sweetest Perfection says:

BC30, they are requesting your presence at “The Carrier Empath.” Go to that thread.

          1. BC30 says:

            Thanks!!

    2. Another Cat says:

And you’re tempting the heck out of me HG. Been an awful good girl, trying to schedule budget for an audio consultation or two this winter.

      1. leelasfuelstinks says:

They are really very good! The first time I consulted, I peed in my pants with fear 😀 but H.G. is wonderful, charming and understanding. 🙂

        1. Another Cat says:

Indeed, they are. Coparenting 50/50 with a haughty smearing narc with a wonderful reputation, demands a lot of focus and planning, to give the children the best possible life. The KV plus occasionally consultation from HG, is what I decided that I need to focus on.

          1. leelasfuelstinks says:

Oh dear! 🙁 Sorry to hear that. As an ACON (adult child of a narcissist) I know what damage narcissistic “parents” can do to their children 🙁 Take good care of your children! H.G. will help you.

        2. A Victor says:

Leelasfuelstinks, I’m surprised! You seem so bold many times.

          1. leelasfuelstinks says:

Surprised? Because I peed in my pants with fear? I´m not afraid of narcs, but H.G. ? A wonderful mentor, the best we can have, but not an angel and not exactly a Saint

          2. A Victor says:

leelasfuelstinks, even more surprised, I thought you referring to his “godlike greatness”. It never occurred to me to be actually afraid of him, though “Daddy’s home.” now brings me to tears, of horror, when I think of it. Thank you for sharing this, it makes you more human to me, 🙂 not that I needed that, but HG also. I think I have found all of my interactions with him to be so professional that it wasn’t a concern. Also, I have been listening to the KHG series this last few days, since the sale, and I can see where, if that was an early “image” of him, it could be pretty intimidating. I appreciate you sharing your view, I have a couple of people in my life who could desperately use his information but are unwilling because of his “label”. I have yet to figure a way to get them past that, maybe not my problem, but, caring about them, I keep gently trying.

          3. HG Tudor says:

I appreciate the endorsement of my professionalism. That is always demonstrated to the honest and constructive individuals who engage with me.

          4. leelasfuelstinks says:

            H.G., YOU ROCK! 🙂

          5. HG Tudor says:

            True.

          6. leelasfuelstinks says:

H.G. is a wonderful mentor and I never ever had so much self confidence in my whole life! Thanks to H.G.! 🙂 I was afraid at the beginning, because H.G. is also a psychopath. I have experience with Narcs (of course as an ACON). I was afraid that I could wound H.G. and after reading a lot of his wonderful books, I though “oh boy, I´m gonna talk to the man who does all that” 😀 But I soon realized that H.G. is a very understanding, charming and very empathic sensei! The consultations were extremely relieving and it did so good to talk about things which only H.G. understands. They were really wonderful and I received a huge self-esteem boost! H.G. ROCKS! 🙂

          7. A Victor says:

            You’re welcome.

    3. BC30 says:

      Haha

  8. Claire says:

Many thanks for the marvellous gifts Santa Tudor !
May you have a wonderful Christmas!

    1. HG Tudor says:

      I will, you are welcome.

  9. Bibi says:

Uh, I am a ho BAG, thank you very much.

  10. lickemtomorrow says:

Do you have any of those candy cane light sabres for sale?

BTW, Darth Vader has also put in an appearance at the Nativity Scene in St. Peter’s Square. He’s a popular guy this Christmas. Although I see you started the trend last year 🙂

    1. Asp Emp says:

Well, you can always buy a sweet cane & wrap some battery powered xmas lights around it – then that is your creation? (PS I’ve never seen a bent light sabre in Star Wars – laughing)

      1. Truthseeker6157 says:

        Santa Tudor,

The roguish tilt of your hat carries with it an air of debonair nonchalance, that is really quite becoming.

  11. BC30 says:

Oh CRAP, thank you! I forgot to check our my cart yesterday.

    1. HG Tudor says:

      Get a grip BC30!

      1. BC30 says:

I did!! Thank you, I ended up adding more to my cart, so it was for the best! 😚🎁

        1. HG Tudor says:

          Jolly good.

          1. lickemtomorrow says:

HG, random thought, do you ever use emjoi’s?

          2. HG Tudor says:

            No. I’m not a child.

          3. BC30 says:

I’ll use emojis if I fucking want to!!! 🤣 JFC!!!

          4. Sweetest Perfection says:

Think about it: what would he use emojis for?

          5. BC30 says:

SP, I wasn’t referring to HG, but myself. I find it funny because I’m super expressive IRL. True to my cadre, emojis help me express my emotions 🖤 but y’all probably have already figured I’m animated.

          6. Sweetest Perfection says:

Me too, BC30! But again, why would he need emojis? And it’s not only because he’s not a child but because he’s not emotional. Because Star Wars is for children but he likes it. …And, this comment will destroy itself in 3…2…1… 💣

          7. HG Tudor says:

Your argument falls flat because Star Wars isn’t purely for children.

          8. Sweetest Perfection says:

I know Star Wars is not just for children, neither are emojis. Hence the association.

          9. HG Tudor says:

            Emojis are for children.

          10. Sweetest Perfection says:

You mean emojis are childish? Yes. For children? Obviously not.

          11. Asp Emp says:

Definitely agree with you on this one, HG. It holds special memories for me, so I will defend it. I’d watch it again, today – it’s all computer generated sh*t these days.

          12. Asp Emp says:

Big mistake….. “Star Wars is for children” – ah no. I bet you, adults who saw the original Star Wars could not get enough of it. Yes, the children at the time were transfixed, in awe. Because films were not made like that until Star Wars came out. It’s a classic.

          13. MB says:

            😆😆😆

          14. lickemtomorrow says:

            😛

          15. A Victor says:

            Wow.

          16. Bibi says:

Can I have a 40% discount on your legs?

          17. HG Tudor says:

Sure. 40% off priceless still remains priceless though.

          18. Sweetest Perfection says:

            🦵🏼 🦵🏼 🦵🏼 🦵🏼

          19. Bubbles says:

            Dear Mr Tudor,
Nothing wrong with being a child 👶🥳 haha
            Luv Bubbles xx 😘

          20. Bibi says:

            Haha, HG. That tickled me.

I did get some goodies. I seem to hear your i-phone buzzing with messages and in one recording you sound like you’re walking in circles. Nothing distracting, but I am also listening for sounds in your world.

          21. lickemtomorrow says:

Ooh, I’ve thought about the sounds in HGs videos, too, and sometimes he appears to be turning around to tend to something else (not sure what) as his voice fades in an out intermittently. Then there is the ‘ping’ sound which could be an Iphone. And then there is a sound like he is opening a can of something … i.e. lifting the tab to open the can. Perhaps a little thirst quencher while he is talking?

          22. HG Tudor says:

That is the sound of the pear of anguish being adjusted.

          23. Asp Emp says:

            Laughing…..

          24. Asp Emp says:

Ah, come on. HG works hard and from the sound of your descrption, he can multi-task and how many narcissists can actually do that? Certainly not the lower echelons, anyway…..

          25. lickemtomorrow says:

The “pear of anguish” sounds intriguing, and adjustment of the same sounds like a can being opened! I just don’t hear the fizz 😛

          26. HG Tudor says:

Well you won’t as there is no can being opened.

          27. Asp Emp says:

Google it and you can find out (laughing)

          28. Truthseeker6157 says:

            LET,

The can opening sound I think is the spinny chair creaking.

All villains have spinny chairs. HG’s is black, Herman Miller probably. I think I hear a metal filing cabinet too.

          29. HG Tudor says:

            You need your hearing tested!

          30. Asp Emp says:

            Laughing…. “hear a filing cabinet too”……. hilarious…..

          31. Truthseeker6157 says:

            Or better headphones.

          32. lickemtomorrow says:

Oh my, I’ve just looked up the “pear of anguish” … no more needs to be said :O

          33. lickemtomorrow says:

TS, I never ‘heard’ it as a chair creaking, but I will listen out for it again. I’ll also have to listen out for the filing cabinet. The two distinct sounds I have are the (possible) pinging of the phone and the “pear of anguish” (according to HG). He is moving around while he is recording and there are also the moments of dead silence when I think I’ve lost sound, or the recording has stopped. Those can be a little unnerving at times. I’m always glad when I hear HG start talking again 🙂

          34. Renarde says:

            LEM

Oh bless you. Only Madame Bubbles can do emojis.

            It is written.

And… you ask for 40% off his legs? Nothing else??? Really?

Looks like I’m reserving his cock then. Oh plus a hand. And his mouth.

            Better have the brain too!

          35. HG Tudor says:

            I belong to nobody.

          36. Renarde says:

            Hg

Indeed! I just want to rent you.

          37. HG Tudor says:

Well, you may not and you cannot.

          38. Renarde says:

            HG

Ha ha! Fair play. I wouldn’t want be rented either!

          39. Renarde says:

Apologies LEM! Its Bibi who wants the legs!

My earlier point still stands though.

          40. Sweetest Perfection says:

Beware, HG. Even gods eventually fall. Look at poor Osiris. Btw, I’ll keep his voice. You can have the rest.

          41. HG Tudor says:

You added a comma by mistake.

          42. Sweetest Perfection says:

Give me your voice, little mermaid.

          43. Sweetest Perfection says:

I know. I’m stopping now since I still haven’t written my will.

          44. HG Tudor says:

            Hg approves.

          45. Renarde says:

            SP

That’s priceless on Osiris! Brilliant! X

However, now you’ve brought up His Voice, you see, in just not sure I want to let that go.

And it’s not even the voice par see; for utterly comedy value alone, it’s his accents. That what makes ‘Hannah’s story’ so very amusing. I could very clearly imagine him doing that. And the reaction it would cause. These artistic types, you know?

No, I say SP, let’s renegotiate ‘H(e)gxit’. We can drift off into the Brave, New Horizon, safe in the knowledge that you have this appandege and I have that. I feel the ‘hand of history on my shoulder/s’

And as we sail off on the ‘Good Ship Narc’, we can spread HGs words far and wide. Winning scenario all round!

But seriously, have a good festive season lovely x

          46. HG Tudor says:

            Deluded.

          47. Sweetest Perfection says:

I’m Thoth and I keep the logos with me. I won’t let you have it, Renarde. Hahaha we are both cuckoo. Have a wonderful holiday you too, sweetie! I’m glad to see you back

          48. Renarde says:

Thanks SP! Good to see you too x

          49. Sweetest Perfection says:

I added three lipstick kisses to my previous comment, Renarde, but there was a glitch in Matrix or something. Consider yourself xxxed.

          50. Renarde says:

            SP

            I do indeed x

          51. A Victor says:

I was going to agree about enjoying the various sounds in the background, particularly some of the music. But then I looked up “pear of anguish”… not so sure now…😰

          52. HG Tudor says:

By all means enjoy the music.

          53. Asp Emp says:

Laughing…. it is worth Googling, then you think, OMG….. LOL

          54. A Victor says:

Thank you, I will. But, the mental image of the pear of anguish being adjusted may prove to be pretty distracting upon hearing the other sounds now…

I also like it when it sounds like there is a ball being thrown against the wall repeatedly!

          55. Asp Emp says:

Laughing….. seeing the image of the ‘item’ in question, well, I laughed because I don;t think there are many in existence these days….. I’ll say no more….. laughing

          56. lickemtomorrow says:

BC30, I never thought of that for being or not being the reason for using emojis

I see you are very expressive and enjoy your posts immensely.

So, we don’t necessarily need to think of ourselves as childish.

            Just expressive <3

          57. Truthseeker6157 says:

            LET,

I think the pauses are triple tracking.

I think HG has emails coming in that pop up on his screen as he reads pre written material. He thinks about the email at the same time as he reads. Runs through the various possible responses to his own response, occasionally causing the pause.

Occasionally I think he is speaking from memory / recording whilst thoughts come to him. Another possible reason for an occasional pause.

I probably need my brain testing too while they’re at it. ( Insert crazy face winking emoji with tongue out, here)

          58. Asp Emp says:

And, the YouTube, Facebook, the blog,….. lots of notifications – so many – Army Of One……

          59. lickemtomorrow says:

Renarde, I see you are aiming to get all the best parts

I didn’t realize we should be calling dibs on portions of HG!

And I see HG isn’t for being carved up as he belongs only to himself.

So, it’s hands off, HG. He will decide who gets what

          60. Bubbles 🍾 says:

            Dearest Renarde,
How are you gorgeous ? Hope you’re doing ok ? Great to hear from you !

Why Thank you ! (I guess I would be Mr Tudor’s most sickening writer here, just call me a child at heart …… you should see Mr Bubbles and I when we text each other, gifs, bitmojis, funny Memes you name it ! It’s all in good fun, but we all know narcs don’t possess any fun in their DNA
            Luv Bubbles xx

          61. lickemtomorrow says:

Wow, I didn’t get the ball against the wall, AV!

I’m going to be listening so intently next time round (wish I had an ear emoji

          62. NarcAngel says:

I will not slam Star Wars
I will not slam Star Wars
            I will show restraint
I will not slam Star Wars
I will not slam Star Wars

            Seriously though…

            HG
What would you say is the number one reason you enjoyed Star Wars so much back when it was released and continue to hold it in such high regard today?

          63. HG Tudor says:

It was a place far, far away for my sister and me.

          64. Asp Emp says:

            I totally get that.

          65. Asp Emp says:

NA, I recall the ‘punishment’ was to write 100 lines, by hand. These days, it can be copied and pasted……

          66. lickemtomorrow says:

I see you are lacking emoji’s, too, TS Hopefully that one will do x

Yes, I forgot about the triple tracking of HGs mind, and no doubt he moves between these tracks (though I still lack understanding around this). It’s intriguing to contemplate and I wonder if HG has to ‘pause’ himself as he adjusts to his audience and what he is saying. In that sense I would see it a conscious act for the purposes of what he is trying to achieve. I don’t know what would happen if he didn’t pause, but it feels deliberate or conscious and not just a distraction. Only HG could tell us what those ‘blank’ moments indicate, and I can also imagine there would be distractions during recording sessions which could well interfere with his thoughts momentarily. I’m going to bet HG won’t like me saying that as everything he does is deliberate. He made a comment today saying something along the lines of he never wastes his time which includes the time he spends commenting here. I can believe that, but how he finds the time to do all he does is beyond me. And is also much appreciated <3

          67. A Victor says:

Oh yes, Asp Emp, brace yourself and Google…

          68. Asp Emp says:

“brace yourself” – I’d need to be strapped in – or a strait jacket! (laughing)…..

          69. A Victor says:

            Hahahaha!

          70. Truthseeker6157 says:

            AV,

There will be a dripping tap in the next video. Just you wait.
Unfortunately I also googled pear of anguish. Made me cry crocodile shears!

          71. Truthseeker6157 says:

            Ha ha HG!

            I saw that.

          72. Another Cat says:

Regarding Star Wars I had a (lovely empathic) boyfriend who said he found it funny and “typical Hollywood” that there was a group of characters, the Empire, who can only only only do evil. They just strot around doing evil things all day and night.

          73. HG Tudor says:

That is entirely accurate, I slip into my Evil smoking jacket and settle onto the High Throne of Malice in the evening and just be, well, evil.

          74. Asp Emp says:

            I can imagine! (laughing)

          75. lickemtomorrow says:

AspEmp, sidetracking slightly from Star Wars (forgive me, HG), but when my son was younger he was a huge WWE fan. He lived, ate and breathed that stuff.

Anyway, shitty kids at his school would tease and torment him about his interest saying that it was for little kids (he was about 10). I lined him up to go and see one of their spectaculars and there were more adults than children by far! Not trying to compare it to Star Wars, per se, but adults absolutely love some of that fantasy shit and they don’t care if it’s not real. Hope I’m not disappointing anyone by saying that x

          76. lickemtomorrow says:

“It was a place far, far away for my sister and me.”

          77. WhoCares says:

            NA,

            “HG
What would you say is the number one reason you enjoyed Star Wars so much back when it was released and continue to hold it in such high regard today?”

Great question NarcAngel – and I am glad that HG and his sister had that outlet away from the family abuse.

I will tell you what I like about Star Wars …It provides a context for discussion (with my son) about good and evil and morals that is not threatening and done in a removed way from real life – but the principles still apply. That is one reason I love a lot of SciFi movies and books – they deal with simple or complex human dynamics but in a world that is intriguing and entertaining. I especially love Star Trek for that too and many of my favourite science fiction books.

          78. HG Tudor says:

The problem is, people though the rebels were the good guys and they were the troublemakers.

          79. WhoCares says:

            Those upstarts!

          80. Asp Emp says:

“The problem is, people though the rebels were the good guys and they were the troublemakers” – there it is, ‘blame-shifting’ & ‘deflection’ & ‘plausible deniability’ – from my perception and there are times when I deflect ‘accountability’ and for good reason (again, in my ‘perception’)

          81. Sweetest Perfection says:

You need to cause trouble to start a revolution.

          82. A Victor says:

No Asp Emp, but, apparently there is one in HG’s office.

          83. Asp Emp says:

            Laughing….. how do you know?

          84. Renarde says:

            Hg

Yes, the rebels were troublemakers but they were, err, rebelling?

In 4, GM Tarkin states he wants to rule the Empire through ‘fear’. Well that doesn’t sound very nice! Effective, possibly.

Just other thoughts, 1-3 were such a disappointment. Lucas is a visionary but he cannot write dialogue or direct. They did have moments of enjoyment, especially the final shown down between Anakin and Kenobi.

The series improved with Abrahams. However, I cannot warm to Kylo Ren. And especially as he did what he did. Little twonk.

Ray I do very much like. But no.one can hold a candle to Han Solo. [Sigh].

          85. HG Tudor says:

I doubt the multi-billionaire George Lucas gives a flying fuck.

          86. Renarde says:

            HG

            Agreed. Strange bloke, Lucas.

I find Lucas curiously absent. Disengaged.

          87. Witch says:

            @BC30

I don’t believe in a lot of things posh people do… I don’t believe in starting weddings at 10am and making people wait hours before feeding them, I don’t believe in waiters serving wine on trays, I don’t believe in shitty canapes and quarter portions, I don’t believe in boring parties.
            Children have more fun!

          88. Witch says:

HG just wondering if you’ve bought the collection of Star Wars inspired adidas trainers yet?

          89. HG Tudor says:

            No.

          90. lickemtomorrow says:

OK, I looked up the whole Star Wars franchise earlier because I know so little about it and that was eating at me. Why did they wait 22 years to make the second film? When I looked it up they were listed in order, but not the order of when they were made so there appears to be 3 prequels and the fourth in line was actually the first movie made. I actually did go to see Rogue One at the cinema as my eldest daughter’s boyfriend is a massive Star Wars fan. I’d seen the shorts and it looked impressive. Every Xmas we get him something Star Wars related and one year he got the same thing from two of us! He also forced us to watch the Lord of the Rings extended version one New Year’s Eve. Torture is not the word!

          91. HG Tudor says:

Rogue One was decent because they all died.

          92. Witch says:

Reading through these comments and seeing that you ladies want the D? The voice? The legs?
I’d rather have the money 🤷🏻‍♀️

          93. Sweetest Perfection says:

Witch, we don’t know how much money HG owns. It’s an abstract idea. We actually don’t know about his D other than what he says about it, but I haven’t heard any man talk down about his D. The quality of his voice, though, is factual. And I am very entrepreneurial, I already have big plans for that voice.

          94. Whitney says:

            Dear HG the God,
Most communication is via text these days. Emojis are good for showing how you feel when you can’t see or hear each other. They have a wide range of emoji facial expressions these days!

          95. HG Tudor says:

I prefer to write, words are my weapons, emojis just do not cut it.

          96. Asp Emp says:

I agree RE: emojis. I wonder how much damage it has done to education in recent years – especially the younger generation. Even deaf people still use finger spelling and not emojis when communicating.

          97. HG Tudor says:

Doubtless exacerbating the rot occasioned by the arrival of text speak.

          98. Asp Emp says:

Totally agree. English Grammar is likely to become very rare now.

          99. A Victor says:

I am only interested in the information. And, I love the direct delivery of it.

Asp Emp, HG said the sound on the background of the recording was the adjusting of the pear of anguish and he has started that he records in his study/office.

TS, I will be listening for dripping sounds now too. 😂

          100. Asp Emp says:

AV, I got the ‘gist’ of the discussion in relation to ‘noises’ in the background of HG’s recordings. It could be a leaky tap if you do hear that ‘noise’…… (laughing)

          101. Whitney says:

Yes HG, and your stoic personality is extremely attractive

          102. Witch says:

HG why be mad at emojis when you could just have a few tequila shots and be happy?
Oops.. oh yeah I remembered, nevermind

          103. HG Tudor says:

I am not mad at emojis, I just do not use them and I have explained why. As you were, Witch.

You said “I’m not a child”
Implying that you have some kind of distaste towards emojis but whatever

          105. HG Tudor says:

No, I said I do not use them as I am not a child and I regard them as the preserve of children. Unfortunately, the use of “whatever” when making a point achieves nothing.

          106. Witch says:

I hope there’s someone around to help you loosen that tie HG 😉

          107. JB says:

I like to use emojis, especially here, where we all don’t know each other and it’s sometimes hard to make sure that the intended tone comes across.

I think I’ve found the “pear of anguish” in this film clip (oddly enough I randomly watched this after our conversation – still laughing)

And I think the Christmas Grinch stole my emojis. Heartbroken.

          1. Truthseeker6157 says:

            That’s it! Hahaha

            Looks a bit stingy.

Grinch stole my brackets earlier too!
            Mischievous chap that Grinch.

          2. lickemtomorrow says:

Closest thing I could find to the “pear of anguish” and I wasn’t even looking!

            Splash guard required.

That Grinch is a mischievous fellow and he got your brackets, too? Cheeky.

Well if anyone is an expert on what is childish… it would be a narc.

“Pay attention to me ! ” ” Wahhhh I’m in the room! ” “Me ! Me ! Me !” as they suck on their soothers to mend their ridiculous “wounds” they receive from being ignored.

“Pay attention to me ! ” ” Wahhhh I’m in the room! ” “Me ! Me ! Me !” as they suck on their soothers to mend their ridiculous “wounds” they receive from being ignored.

Hold that thought and refer to it the next time you start longing for a hoover.

        1. Empath007 says:

Hm. No that’s not the same. I’m not making a display in my real life to try and get the hoover. In fact, if I wouldn’t have found narc sight… what my judgment would tell me is that the narc would most likely never be interested in seeing me again. It is only because I have the information here that I now know its a possibility I could make the “hoover” happen. Before narc site… Hoover to me only meant a type of vacuum.

I may write about it here and so that is the experience you are getting from me. But in my day to day life I am not speaking to my friends and family about the feeling I am having. And most importantly, I am not speaking to the narc about my feelings.

I come write about them here, because this is supposed to be a safe space to do so without judgement. I also write about it here because I find it prevents me from reaching out to my narc. All things that are actually guiding me into NOT receiving the hoover. Should I be desperate and needy to seek the attention of my narc then I would be out there actually DOING it, and not writing about it here.

What I was speaking about (In what was a joke) was when a narcissists can interpret being served last at a dinner party as an insult. That is, completely childish behavior. I would know. I have two young children who cry when I do not serve them first. An adult should have the capability of understanding they do not need to be served first, and that if they’re not it was not an insult from the host.

We can all act like children at times… but narcissists are more likely to behave and think as a child then most others. That is what I meant by my joke. We make jokes here I thought. I think your comment may have been meant as a joke as well… but like this whole conversation is about… it can be difficult to interpret only written language.

        2. Empath007 says:

Oh man…. I think I may have read your comment completely wrong NA. I thought you were trying to point out my behaviour longing for a Hoover is similar in nature. When really all you were trying to say is to remind myself of what babies they are. Whoops. You can feel free to let me know what you meant haha.

I’m sorry. Dam. My head is in a really bad space these days !

  12. Asp Emp says:

    Oh…. an extension then?

    1. Bibi says:

      An extension of HG’s legs.
