HG, with the greatest of no offence intended, that was a nice piece of music but for some reason, the thoughts of having dinner in the apartment of Christian Bale, in the film Psycho came to mind, and we all know what happened with that.
That’s funny Duchessbea, in a very dark way. I didn’t think of it like that. Now that you mention it though, I can see it.
I can imagine being invited to dinner by Christian Bale and being so enamoured by his lovely, neat and clean apartment, his good looks and the beautiful music. While walking towards the dining room, I’d be thinking, “wow, this is lovely!”
…and I would probably miss or ignore the sheets of clear plastic spread over the living-room carpet…
The music accompanying this video is quite captivating. Look forward to hearing more.
Another beautiful album of music. Thank you HG and, if there are other musicians involved, thank you to them as well. It’s lovely to listen to. This one has a kind of sweeping majesty about it.
I especially enjoy listening to the third track (which starts at 6:56 minutes). The last one (which starts at 30:09 minutes) reminds me of Clair de Lune by Debussy. Also, the ‘Harry’s wife’ intro music is lovely but it isn’t long enough. I’d like to hear more of that one.
While listening to this album and At Tudor Towers too, I seem to detect influences from Ravel in some of the driving drum beats reminiscent of Bolero, and also the lightness and delicateness of Debussy’s compositions too.
The photos are beautiful. While there is variety, they appear to be taken in one location. My guess is that the location is somewhere in Scotland. Would you kindly tell us the location, HG?
Just a small request and I hope you don’t mind me asking, HG. If there are any future albums, is it possible to divide them so that it’s easier to select each composition? I think this would also make it possible to play the album in ‘shuffle’ mode.
Thanks again for a lovely selection of music.
Thank you very much HG, for sharing your music! I appreciate it! Xx❤❤
You are welcome.
Is it unusual to have a sociopath tell you they are are sociopath? This has happened to me twice in my 56 years on the mortal coil.
Does not mean they were sociopaths.
Are those who tell they are sociopaths/psychopaths more likely self-proclaimed master manipulators, ie. The Narcissist Who Would Be King? (Or Queen)
It does sound heavier, doesn’t it?
