I never once saw him imitating. I still don’t see it in hindsight. I believe it is true but I never saw it.
Soul mate is finding our other half of who we are. The narc mirrors us to make us think weve found our other half to make a whole but two halves make 1 not 2 people in a relationship. That 1 person always ends up being the narcissist.
Does it ever! The first time I read about mirroring, I freaked out. I couldn’t believe that I fell in love with myself! I was enthralled. No wonder I thought he was an entity or demon because normal humans DO NOT mirror. It is sinister, spooky and eerie. (gobsmacked)
Hmm… I’ve always questioned the phrase “He/she was an illusion and I fell in love with myself”.
It is something wrong with that postulate. Yes, he was an illusion, but did you really love “myself”? Not illusion?
How (having the low self-esteem, the low level of self-confidence, abandon issue, etc.) is it possible to love “myself”?
I have to stop to procrastinate (and write my comments here) and continue to write my sooo boring article for work instead. Ugh. Lol.
