Should I get it y’all? I was really, really interested in clue hunting at first and was going to wait until part 8 to get back into it. Like NA, I found wading through the forum got old pretty fast. I have to have reinforcement. I can’t stay motivated stumbling around in the dark with a blindfold on not knowing if I’m “getting warmer or “getting colder”! Plus, and this won’t be a popular comment, HG is never going to let us figure anything out until he wants us to, it felt like me chasing my own tail for his amusement. The games are always being played, remember?

1. It is far easier to have it in written form so you can cross reference.
2. There is more guidance and additional clues in the material.
3. When someone is correct as to the identify of a member of the Lower Table, I tell them (witness the recent situation in the Protected Forum)

MB, there is definitely some tail chasing. There is no doubt that The Ultra is behind it all but Im fascinated with his brilliance. These new clues made my eyeballs numb but it’s really good stuff. Don’t be a quitter! Come back we need you.

Ok, I do have access to that. I had the same experience that NA had the first time I checked it out.
I’ve been searching by date so as not to get overwhelmed. Sometimes I will search my name to.see if someone replied to an older post.

I got it and find the text much better suited to my learning. Easier for referencing and less confusion with regard to keeping the ‘facts’ straight vs what I’ve read in the comments. Also, there are extra clues and a bit of direction. You will of course want to use the audio to reinforce what you’ve read and retain the information. Perhaps while relaxed and just before sleep if I may be so bold as to make that suggestion.
I also want to clarify something in my previous comment. I never lost interest in the information and find it quite fascinating. I would buy the book in a second if it were available. It was in trying to participate in the forum during my confusion that found me dropping off.

NA, the forum is good unless you get behind. I got discouraged and fell hopelessly behind. I may use the lockdown as a chance to catch up. Honestly, I’m afraid to log in. Not going to lie!
MB, I fell behind too. Just do a word search by date, a few every day, and you’ll catch up dinner than you’d expect. Trying to read from top to bottom would discourage most people and it’s (bass-ackwards anyhow for continuity).

This is a good idea and I think a better fit for me. I was excited and intrigued at the outset of the series but found the forum quickly became chaotic (for me) in wading through the number of comments (no new notifications) and in keeping the information vs theories untangled. Sadly I lost interest and decided to wait for the book. This should allow for easier referencing of the information than locating it in the audio (though not nearly as enjoyable) and perhaps spur more interest in participating.
Indeed NA, part of the idea of this material was to provide a more accessible reference tool so people can compare and cross reference more readily, to entice those who have not yet embraced the series and of course to add in some additional clues/information also.
NarcAngel, I’m liking the transcripts too. Much easier to reference. As far as the forum, I think what most have been doing is creating new comments so recent thoughts and opinions are at the top of the page. I check once or twice a day and use the search function with the date to make sure I didn’t miss anything. We could really use some fresh thoughts and ideas. Especially with HGs new clues.
