I am pleased to be in a safe place here.
It is the oneliner-exclamation marks-headlines media – twitter, facebook and daily news – which causes me headache.

  2. Another Cat says:

No Contact can be a lonely place for some us, at times, at least before we’re comfortable with routines. So many of us, me, can after some weeks or months turn to another addiction, social media. Even though we blocked some ppl from social media or turn to a different plattform altogether, there is still a lot of excitement, drama, spikes, headlines. I realized that keeping intouch with social media feels a lot like drama addiction for me, no different from narcissist addiction. These days I follow protests, covid-19 death tolls, fights, exclamation marks, and well, it is about keeping uptodate with heaps of narcissist posters and politicians. Keeping contact with my emotional thinking.

So these 10 reminders of how to stay-out-of-unnecessary-suffering are a welcome dose of wisdom. I thought it would be reminders of what we readers already know, but two of the commandments I hadn’t even thought of before. Thank you HG.
