It is the addiction to the Prime Aims which of course can be found from any category of person, but the empath caters to the Prime Aims the most effectively.
Wow, Alexissmith, great question. I had not thought of the narcissist having an “addiction”, but your question brings my parents to mind. I think my mom was “addicted” to my dad’s fuel etc way more than he was to hers. But, he was a higher functioning narc who had other inlets to meet his addiction to the prime aims with. Interesting way to think of it.
Wow. This video is one of the best I have come across in HG’s work. It’s very well detailed, explaining the numerous ‘manipulations’ that a narcissist carries out in order to maintain their ‘Prime Aims’ and it was really insightful to see the different types of ‘Assertions of Control’ in this particular video, focusing on the subject of what is classed as ‘domestic violence’ – effectively narcissistic abuse to the extreme, in this video.
It is also a sharp and stark reality about narcissism and how ‘hidden’ narcissism is. With domestic violence being on the increase during the Covid-19 Lockdowns, it raises a really important & valid reason why narcissism should be as part of training for those who are entering the field of ‘domestic violence’ as supporters of the victims (the abused).
This video also, in my view, indicates to me that as far as I am concerned, awareness & understanding narcissism should be made mandatory.
There are a number of ‘Acts’ (under The Law) of which should include awareness about narcissism – Domestic Violence Act, Mental Health Act, Care Act and so on.
So very encouraging & good to see that young people being educated to recognise ‘red flags’ in relation to abuse in the Midlands of UK.
Thank you for this video, HG. It is certainly one I would use to share with my GP friend and my own GP.

HG, do narcissists get addicted to other narcissists?
It is the addiction to the Prime Aims which of course can be found from any category of person, but the empath caters to the Prime Aims the most effectively.
Makes sense. Thank you very much for responding HG
You are welcome.
