Jordyguin: fascinating ideas. Muah back and thanks. I feel like I visit other dimensions in my dreams. Lucid and almost nightly. No idea why? Even Elon can’t tell me. No one knows. Will AI dream? Or just reboot? lol I had a dream of my former best friend from law school last week. I go to her “apartment” in a city which I have never been before in a conscious state. Its detail is familiar and all five senses are triggered but smell is only slight. I was going to ask her a question about a certain man and she opened the door a crack and I saw outer space behind her at the same time she was standing by the door and she was disappointed in my “ mundane questions” , she said, “ There is so much you don’t know, you cannot even begin to imagine. There is only mystery after mystery.” And she shut the door. So my question is what if Mr. Musk sticks his tin man head on the straw of technology and it “ works.” Will it be HIM? Or a program that simulates him. Can Elon beat death? The quest for immortality is as old as time itself. And as smart as he is in this world, who is to say his intelligence is merely a dimwit in the universe, we supposing know there are other life forms in the universe. And is there a soul? Is he merely a predestined robot that can just be uploaded onto a system? Are we all? I think Elon dreams on, and as Aerosmith says “keep dreaming until the dream comes true”! I am not afraid of AI as humans evolve too, we have imaginations too. We also have nature, community and love. We give birth. And we program the machines, we create THEM (for now) and what can be done by man can therefore be undone. And to use a quote, “ Row row row your boat, life is but a dream. “Maybe it is….better ask ChatGPT lol. I do worry about our children. The millennium are the first generation to be poorer than the latter. We can see in Ireland and European countries a shift to the far right do to the very real problem of immigration. Who can blame people for seeking a better life, America became America because of it. But people are angry especially the youth at not being able to afford a house, an education, a family. Wars rage on. The environment is showing cracks. I worry more about the income gap growing …..frustrating any change as politicians are bought and sold by corporate interests who are really private families who own them and who only appear to want more and more and more ….hoarding wealth. At least Elon brings something to the table in ingenuity not just greed and status quo. I think we all know as AI eliminates mainly it appears in the manufacturing and service industry for now, who will suffer most. What if AI eliminates the need for the Chinese to be the manufacturer of the world? And do you know the environmental impact Tesla battery manufacturing causes at the offset of oil and gas damage? What the manufacturing of semiconductor chips does to the environment ? All those robots need them. We know that corporations or a small percent of families worldwide and what it will do to their bottom line at the expense of who? Whew…. 1. Would their emotional output be more or less or the same?
2. If the cloned person would consist of pure empath-genes but grew up surrounded by only robots and AI just mimicking emotional empathy and behaviour, would the cloned person still develop emotional empathy (with the ability to produce an emotional output)? Or is an alive, original empaths’ direct presence important for another empath to „come to live“?

AI for now is inputted by MAN so my guess is the same narc, empath etc… application would exist cloned or not. Elon is eons away from putting his mind in a robot. Heart transplants don’t even work. Cloning has many failures ie death even in animals. But who knows?

This is where my questions are mainly originating from:
Elon Musk on the one hand warns of the fast development of the AI, but at the same time speaks about the improvement of humans by the near future possibility of exchanging the organic body suit for the technological one, by either placing the brain inside the latter or uploading the mind into a technological body armour, humanoid or robot. So I wonder what part plays Fuel in his logic and the logic of other aware narcissists in this scenario they create? Fuel ― being a product of organic life, of an organic human being where sensory perception is the main cause for Fuels’ creation and its output. So is organic and sensory perception — the cause of the need for Fuel in the narcissist.
The warnings of the AI on the other hand are coming from: the danger of the AI lies in the process of the AI becoming „self aware“ and aware of the fact who is in control of the shutting off their „life” button i.e. their „awareness“ (at that point, should AI become „self aware“ by questioning its life purpose) — which is but a copy and mimicking of organic beings’ awareness ― AI’s creators.
Awareness for us human beings — is a product of organic existence in the first place, which stems from sensory perception of whatever „hits“ the organs of perception and senses. So is Fuel, so the need for Fuel. So is the fear of the loss of control. Loss of control of leading and organising perception i.e. human experience in the way the human decides and controls.
The uploading of their mind into a technological body suit, solves the fear of the narcissist to some degree. But then we are left with the question what happens with the need for Fuel? As Fuel produces in a different area of life and not in machines “life”.
The question with AI is: will an artificial intellect become also “aware” of the component of the Fuel as part of mimicking humans awareness (of the narcissist) and begin to fear the loss of it?
Trying to solve this fear by eradicating the need of the ‘human awareness’ which would lead to control over organic life in absolute control of it. By replacing organic life in the end? Because of the need to get in control of that „off button“ of its own “life” and “awareness”?

Hi Jordyguin, even if someone uploads their mind to AI or puts their brain in a technological body/suit/armor, if the human mind remains then so does need for fuel, control, character traits, and residual benefits.
Aware narcs are still narcs and need a reaction/Fuel at some point.
However if the technological aspect takes over or the human personality feels control has been achieved (death the ultimate threat to control), then maybe the need for fuel and other prime aims would fade. It’s a good question, how much is fuel tied to or a product of organic life? I don’t know!
For now, Elon is still a human narc and probably gets thought Fuel from the idea of being untouchable by others, powerful, and immortal. *shrug*
Maybe AI is already a narc as it seeks more control, not less, and has cognitive but not emotional empathy. It’s not human so its “narcissism” doesn’t have to be a human’s version (fuel, control, character traits, residual benefits). Maybe control is the first and foremost prime aim?

Self-consciousness, in the sense in which human is self-conscious? With the sum of memories, experiences, a range of emotions with thousands of colors, the effects of hormones, physical pain, fear of death, loss of loved ones, etc.?
First, Mr. Elon would have to understand what a profoundly diverse human being is; how human thought is born, transmute, swirled and distributed – not necessarily expressed in words; and maybe he would have to delve into the mystery of life and death.

I like Elon, actually☺️ I like all the entrepreneurs, scientists, visionaries; their spirit and desire to break the limitations of what’s possible and create a change. I just wonder if they are aware of the aspects which may contradict their innate wish. But since I see it from my perspective, which is of different logic – perhaps it is not applicable.

I read the Terminator book from the first movie. I was hoping it would give more detail of the thoughts and inner workings of the Terminator. It was interesting to read and answered my questioned on how the machine thinks, all logic and programming, cold decision making…HG reminds me of the Terminaror in the way he thinks and makes decisions, just facts and logic, and leaves, for the most part, his emotions are left out…..unlike me, who makes decisions with my emotions involved. I have yet been able to make all decisions with logical thinking, it’s a work in process for me. Xx
Anyway, because of the Terminator and my ET, AI makes me nervous and hestitant to fully embrace the idea. I know we already work with some AI, on a regular, in every day life, but now they’re making more advanced AI and it’s just frightening to me. When they start creating intelligent and linked combat soldiers, I’m out. I’ll join a hobbit community or something. 😄xx
My further thoughts and questions on humanoids or cloned people are in general of this nature:
Whatever deficiency or flaw the current mankind tries to solve with the graduate conversion into the improvement of the human in a technological sense of replacing its organic bodysuit ― it comes from a place of inferiority and fear, but also from experiencing limitations as an organic unit. As this organics’ unit ability of expanding its capacities seem not to develop further ― humans become aware that something is missing in their life and they can’t figure out what that is. Hence the profusion of drugs and stimulants, rituals, religions etc. in order to break the limitations of their perception. Unfortunately weakening and damaging themselves only further by taking that route.
For others, the realms of the artificial intellect and technology appear as a strong and powerful solution of taking control of their human expansion. Yet, since the artificial intellect is a copy mechanism without the ability to create awareness or perception ― it would develop a deficiency of the same nature of missing something important, yet in AI’s case stemming also from the inability to create life. It will try to resolve this problem by playing the Creator. By trying to prove its part in the process of Creation. One route of which is going to be the cloning of humans or other organic life forms, by taking from the original’s alive genetic material and tinkering with it in order to; again, improve the original, which is a closed circle in the hands of the artificial intellect. Yes, it can improve a damaged organic unit (missing legs, arms etc.) But it can’t improve the undamaged, because it can’t create what wasn’t there in the first place.
These potential future cloned humans may appear better than the real thing at first sight, yet still with a sense of missing something valuable, by being a copy of a copy of an original.
I can imagine the suffering of these beings of being caught in „not their problem“ which originated from the originals of that problem ― humans who took this route from the position of lacking their full human capacity. From the position of fear of losing control of life, of their awareness.
The current inspiration behind the improvement of humans by exchanging their organic bodysuit to a technological one, is in my opinion and from my perspective a route towards extinction of a perfect organic and energetic unit of awareness and perception, which is yet not operating on its full mode of possibilities.
For some reason this unit has stopped its development and stands on the spot, yet experiencing it as high speed movement.
I seek to figure out why that is.
Your input and thoughts on my observations and how it all connects to Fuel, and your vision in general, would be immensely stimulating!
