My favorite line: “Only a few understand it and it’s impossible to know until you’re in it.”
I’m amazed she can teach a three- and five-year-old “kindness” as an abstract concept instead of focusing on specific behaviors: not stepping on/biting the baby, petting the puppy gently (grabbing the kid’s hand to demonstrate the required lightness of touch, when necessary), sharing toys with your sibling instead of throwing them.
Has this woman ever been in a room with a kid?
