I’ve watched the three conversations with Neil, including his IIRMW. His videos are my favourite so far. I share many of his concerns and opinions, so it’s not surprising I like his choices. I’d classify him as a Super Empath (perhaps with Saviour and Magnet as strong cadres). Like with Trevor, I see him as too passionate, too invested to be a normal. It was interesting that Trevor found it hard to choose between Just Stop Oil and Black Lives Matter because he finds both movements objectionable, while Neil found it hard to choose because he saw value in both. To me, both men are motivated by their empathy, but for whatever reason they view the victims of persecution as different groups. Their empathy and their saviour instincts motivate them to oppose and challenge unfairness where they see it, they just see it in different places.
I’ve watched the IIRMW videos of DofN, Avid Gardener and Stef the Alter Nerd.
Stef came across as genuine and thoughtful, mostly libertarian/conservative in her views but caring and kind hearted. My guess is she believes in the content she produces and feels it’s honest. I think she’d see her videos’ popularity as evidence others share her concerns about the world she lives in which confirms she’s on the right track. That it’s profitable would feel like further confirmation she’s doing the right thing. I think she’s a normal.
AG struck me as cynical and pissed off. I checked her channel and it looks like her husband, who seems like a good, normal guy, is terminally ill and she’s only recently found this out after believing he had been given an all clear. If that’s the case I’d expect her to be angry and disappointed and going through the motions at surface level while feeling internally chaotic. I expect she uses her content as a money earner and maybe a chance to have some social exchanges or let out some frustration but otherwise she doesn’t seem particularly invested in it. I don’t think she’s needs fuel or control or power, despite her country’s description. I think she’s a normal.
I saw narcissistic and somatic indicators for DofN. I don’t think she’s got enough of a facade to be mid range so I’d put her as a lesser somatic, perhaps middle lesser. I reckon she makes videos because it helps her achieve the PAs. She probably believes in what she’s producing, or doesn’t think enough about it to question it.
I run a strong bias here but I watched all three of the videos with the goal of keeping an open mind.
I’ve also watched Trevor, Jen and both the Sidley Twins.
I’m leaning towards TC as an empath of this group. He is emotional, has a lot of strong feelings, and many appear to be empathy driven. He’s too emotional for a normal, imo. And I find him too genuine to be a narcissist. While I disagree strongly with many of his positions i agree strongly with others. I think he creates some MM content because he holds her responsible for some of the disappointing behaviour he’s seen in Harry, which he feels angered by. I found myself liking him, and feeling moved by his intensity of feeling and his humour, including self deprecation, at times. I suspect he might be a super empath, high in carrier and saviour.
Jen was trickier for me. She said at one point she was an empath, and in another video HG reassured her he did not see her as a narcissist. If she has done the detector, or HG has told her she’s an empath, she must be an empath (according to his criteria), however if she hasn’t been formally identified then it could be indicative of unaware mid range narcissism. I didn’t really see extremes in either direction for her, though, so I’ll probably go with normal.
I think Stephanie might be an empath. I think Nancy is likely a normal. Nancy’s choice of foreign secretary was out there, to say the least. I don’t know if it’s the case, but they may put some of the money they make towards animal charities? I don’t think either are narcissists.
I didn’t know much about Julia so I found and looked at her website and now her choices make much more sense to me. I don’t think she’s an empath. My guess is she’s a normal.
LJ’s interview was like hearing the song of my people. In my 30s I got very into Nick Drake and knew so much about him I went on a tv quiz show with him as my area of expertise. I liked that HG allowed her to be hippy, woke self, and even encouraged her empathy when a question seemed complex and she didn’t see all its parts straight off. I appreciate the way you interviewed her, HG. She sounded a bit Australian to me, but maybe she’s just spent time in Earls Court with all the Aussies tending the bars. Our vowels are some of the best.
Oh Leila Jane (empath)! It was otherworldly and very amusing! I’m a fan! Girltasia lol💫!!
Sue Smith…empath
Julia Friedman…narcissistic
Sidley twins…empaths
Trevor…empath (normal?)
Michelle…empath
Fiona (Avid Gardener)…narcissist
Blare…?
Stef the Alter Nerd…normal (empath?)
Jen…empath
I agree Sidleys, Michelle, Jen, and Sue are empaths. I think the Sidleys are different schools.
What makes you think Trevor could be more of a normal? He came off as an empath (super?). I couldn’t 100% tell. I think he’s just generally fed up with corruption. He wants to help, not fund users and abusers of generosity.
Stef — You got me thinking that she could be a normal, perhaps…she’s more serious about issues than others. There’s nothing wrong with putting the country together exactly as the person wants in terms of it being less based around real world problems and more in terms of a dream/fantasy. I can see Stef going either way. I would still put her on the more empathic side of normal if she’s not a full empath.
Fiona — I get why you say so. My question is have you seen more than just her two videos with Mr. Tudor? I find her generally off-putting. I didn’t think her flippancy was necessary, and I don’t think I could behave that way, even if I were in the circumstances she seems to be up against–a lawsuit with a sugar/sugar group and possibly (someone here mentioned it) her husband has cancer–when they thought he was cleared. That could be driving down her empathy…I tried to watch one other video of hers, and I just didn’t find her likeable on her own.
Jordy- you are really good at this! I obviously still have a problem with: are you serious? Like with the Dutchess I thought the whole thing was a made up comedy. Trevor: the chimpanzees had to be a joke. Others I found more real but to be honest less interesting as it reflected life today or never ever going to happen or the world will devour you. And I like the bloggers RADICAL ideas of change better. HG put a blogger on, please?
Trevor was joking about the chimps and a few other of his comments were tongue in cheek, Contagious. He’s fairly dry. It definitely is a case of personal preference for demeanours and personality types. You like what you like, Contagious.
Dani, I know…Trevor… I want him to be an empath and a Super… I love it when men are like; I’m a King! (Trevor’s Lionking flag and all) this makes me melt lol! And I want empaths (especially men) to have this attitude. To have pride and heart in the right proportion. And on top of it Trevor looks like Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) good for him!… However I thought that empaths (especially Super) wouldn’t be so obvious ’I’m a King’…? But maybe Trevor wasn’t… I don’t get men lol.
Wouldn’t it be a normal who is far more confident than an empath..? Is my thought.

Contagious, Hi lovely! I know what you mean by “are you serious?” But they meant it in full seriousness, even when half joking… Humanity managed to succeed in turning nature against humans wherever they go, disregarding nature’s laws and creating horrific circumstances for wildlife and stock animals to survive and live in. To seek justice or support by the hands of nature (attacking dogs, chimpanzees etc) and continue to turn nature against humans is sickening… If you want to administer justice, make it as painless as possible and leave animals and nature out of it, they’ve suffered enough by the hands of your species…
When I think of where nature worked in unison in order to protect itself would be in the film Avatar. But those humans (the Na’vi) were one with nature to begin with. It is a very good film which addresses contagion-connection with the aliveness of everything and family dynamics and what it means to belong…
Small correction to my list: Stephanie Sidley is possibly a normal (the choice for her cabinet is her family, which indicates a close bond with her family but also a narrower empathy circle… amongst other reactions she gave to HG and composure is rather normal…..)
Isn’t that interesting. I was thinking narcissistic for Julia because there were definitely indicators but I was being cautious and reserved in my assessment. I’m glad she is that, because it means my instincts are working.
Ignore my question but it was interesting how non emotional and monotone her responses were. HG uses his voice like Michelangelo approaches a sculpture. I never think of my voice except “ am I being too loud? Or can they hear me?” Lol
I preferred her delivery, Contagious. I tend to gravitate towards quiet, gentle talkers who are not too emotional. I found her to be honest, thoughtful and genuine. I don’t agree with many of her perspectives and they were all through her IIRMW but other than that, I liked listening to her.
omg, AA, we’re so different in that too; Dr. Julia — I couldn’t stand her delivery… The experience for me had a sleeping pill effect…even and plain…no edges, no sparkles, no warmth… like a placebo… I acknowledge her intellect however and the good policy for animal rights…
I’m ploughing through these now and may be at my limit.
Sue and Tea: Not empaths. I see very few as empaths. What stood out to me was how incredibly normal they all were. Not counting LJ, who i see as an outlier in this series, the only ‘ruler’ I felt somewhat confident in assessing as an empath was Trevor, but I even found that difficult.
It’s interesting, Jordy, that you and I have very different perspectives and maybe instincts (I don’t think either of us are performing detailed analyses – I’m certainly not).
When I first learned of HG’s ‘If I Ruled The World’ series in his introductory video on YouTube, I took the premise or purpose of it very seriously. I thought it was related to the ‘real’ world and ‘real’ situations. I assumed that participants would be asked how they would rule the world using factual examples regarding what is actually happening currently in the world .
That’s how I understood the premise of the series.
After listening to the first two participants – RHR Jenn and Stef the Alter Nerd – and the questions HG asked, I realised it was a fictional or imaginative exercise. It could be titled, ‘If I Ruled My Fantasy World’.
Either way, I think it’s an interesting, thought-provoking and entertaining series. It’s also very interesting and revealing with regard to each participant’s personality.
I think some respondents considered it seriously, at least in part, and definitely attempted to address complex issues they saw in the world. As you say, it likely reflected their personalities and interests. I preferred the more serious answers, but that probably reflects my personality, too.
Hi annaamel,
That’s interesting. From your comments here which are usually analytical and deductive, I can see how your preference would lean more towards the serious side.
Each IIRMW participant has a unique ‘vision’ of their world, whether it’s a factual vision or fantasy vision. The exercise reveals a lot about each participant’s personality, interests and imagination.
While listening to the videos and reading the comments here, I thought to myself that it’s not actually advisable to explain your ideas and thought process regarding your ‘ideal world’ to a narcissist. Your ideas could come back to bite you.
It’s a great exercise though, to get you thinking in more detail about how the world works.
Hi WN,
Your comment is interesting to me, thank you for writing it.
It is a serious premise, I agree. And of value to consider.
I don’t believe it’s important to discuss here, with others, but that is for each to decide for themselves. If they care to share, or not, and if so, how much.
Some have touched on the “feeling” of the blog recently. It is not, for me, a place to invest much time at this point, it does not feel safe to me and I don’t need the unprovoked attacks, assessments of myself by those who believe they understand me better than I do, questions about my personal values etc.
This exercise has been interesting to consider, not for sharing however. To promote that would be too much to ask I think, with the current group of active bloggers.
I’m sorry that the blog has not been feeling safe for you. I’ve seen some conversations at times that made me uncomfortable, too. I’ve had to stay away from where I’ve seen those discussions and those I know most prone to ending up in them. I want them to have their space to discuss and learn, but some people are far more than baking soda and vinegar in terms of the way their discussions can go…I’ve seen some that are more like gasoline and a lit match (for me and the emotional state I am in when I first see them). I just delete those emails without reading if I know that there’s a conversation like that.
I know I was part of the analyzing lately in regard to those interviewed in this series, and I apologize for causing discomfort.
Hi Dani, you are wise to about those conversations, if you know they will upset you. I’ve done that for a very long time also. It seems they have become more dominant in the blog, for a while now, but maybe that is only because I am not here as much anymore.
Thank you for the reply and the apology, appreciated though there is no need of it. You are not one I would consider a rabble-rouser in any way, you are very sweet from what I’ve seen. It is much more likely that those who actually can be unpleasant would be the last to apologize. And there are logical reasons for that I believe.
Anyway, thank you for your comment, I do appreciate it very much. Hope all is well and that you have a great day!
A Victor, any good blog supports each other. After all, we wouldn’t be here unless we got affected by a narc and wanted support and to understand. There are sometimes odd ducks … sorry princess but lately…what does your wanting sex with HG have to do with the topic or your bad breath revelations. Join in darlin’ by all means… please… but there is a COMMUNITY here. X
Hi Wiser now: I took it the same way. Start by the premise. Who gives you a country or world without war? But it reveals so much about a person! Their priorities, their relations, their world view. Even in doing the exercise myself, mine was fantasy, a dream world. It might be useful on a first date to flush out a narc!
Hi Contagious,
I agree that this exercise reveals a lot about a person. I think it’s the most revealing exercise yet that HG has devised. It really tells you a lot about a person’s thoughts in a way that could not be revealed by reading comments or listening to an interview. It’s a complex exercise, however, by using a structured format to create a ‘world’, the complexity is broken down and neatly encapsulated.
I can see how your world was a fantasy and dream world. To me, your comments have a fluidity about them. It seems like your thoughts and imagination, while writing, flow from one topic to another in a seamless way; rather than stopping and starting with distinct compartmentalised sentences and paragraphs.
Your style of writing and your mention of dreams makes me think you would have a fantasy world.
I have thought of a fantasy world. So far, I have come up with a name: Amazonia (which has nothing to do with Amazon the shopping website, by the way).
Amazonia’s Seat of Power would be a beautifully designed grand and stately building modeled on the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington DC. The building would have tall classical Corinthian columns and its roofline would have meaningful carvings and sculpture. The nation’s motto would be sculpted into the building’s roof fascia.
I have yet to think of a flag, motto, national food, and song. At this point, my Cabinet would be led by majority Super Empaths in main roles. These Super Empaths would have a range of majority cadres between them.
That’s it so far. I still need to hone the details.
On a side note, I think the reason my imagination is a bit rusty with this exercise is that I’ve been focused on learning all kinds of psychology topics. I haven’t had time to read novels or fictional stories. My mind has been immersed for a long time in the pursuit of lasoo-ing my instinctive reactions and wrangling my emotional thinking until it is hog-tied in the dirt. I think this has meant that my flights of fancy crashed into the side of a mountain some time ago.
Thanks for your comment, Contagious. It’s always a pleasure to hear from you. ❤️😘
Fiona presented as narcissistic or narcissist. She didn’t take the task seriously. Intelligent questions posed by HG, who cares, she’s just here for the fun and the fun was barely funny as it only revolved around a narrow area. But she either stayed in character for 36 minutes or it’s her personality which shone through. Only HG’s questions and follow up questions made it interesting to watch basically.
Jordyguin, such an interesting question 🙂 I’m not as sure whether it would be interesting to read my version of IIRMW though. Thank you for your suggestion 🙂
Aspi, as for me (and I’m sure others as well), I can’t get enough of reading your observations, for instance when you dived into Contagious’ long question list👏 IIRMW would be similar I think, with a very interesting version for your nation.

Hi Anna:
I thought DofN was just joking… I didn’t take her seriously. Is that possible? The others seemed very sincere.
Is it possible she was joking? Trying to amuse listeners? Amusing herself? It’s possible, yes.
Hi WN.
Thanks again WN. Have a good day.
Hi, AV,
I’m sorry that the blog has not been feeling safe for you.
Hi Victor:
I hope you stick around forever! I give you my support if that helps you feel safer! You are a valuable contributor! Best wishes always!
Thank you Contagious, your content made my day! I enjoy your comments also!
Hi AV,
Thank you for your message, I’m glad you found my comment interesting.
I think the IIRMW exercise is valuable as well and the variety of responses have been great.
Hope you have a good day too.
Hi WN,
You’re welcome. I agree, the variety of responses has been great, fun to read! 🙂
Yes, the variety is fun to read, AV, and educational too. 🙂
Jordyguin, nice profile pic 🙂
Thank you Asp🥰 Will you also create your version of IIRMW, if you have time and feel like it? It would be so interesting to read!
Jordyguin, thank you. I may consider it 🙂
Jordyguin and Asp,
I agree with you, Jordyguin…I’d be interested in reading about Asp’s world too! Xx
Rebecca, thank you for that x
Asp,
You’re welcome xx
