Thanks very much for this video, HG (and the chasm one😢).
It makes sense but feels kind of abstract at the same time. I’ll keep learning. it’s obviously only aware narcissists like you that can describe this feeling to us, as much as possible. You have a talent for painting a picture of something that I’m guessing is nearly indescribable. I am so sorry for what you went through.
I still look back and wonder did I have a moment of being near that chasm. I felt like I only went ‘inwards’ properly in my mid forties when it all fell into place about narcissism but still feels bizarre that narcissists can’t access or do that. I was always reflective but couldn’t have proper compassion and perspective on myself till then and when I could see I was an ACON.
I’m interested to learn more about that splitting and the chasm that occurs. Thanks as always.
I’m wondering how it feels to share such things? I imagine I’d feel vulnerable if it was me but I know enough about the prime aims that there would be a different experience for you. Thanks again though, I appreciate it wasn’t easy to do that work with Dr O and share it. 🙏
