A second fatal shooting of a citizen in Minneapolis by federal agents.

And for a second time, federal government officers have lied and gaslit the public about what actually happened. Claims made in media statements are clearly incorrect compared to video evidence. Also, the personal history of the murdered man shows that federal government statements about him are inaccurate.

I’m not an American and I have no patriotic or political interest in this situation.

    It makes me think, though:

Firstly, when all is said and done, what is the point of all Americans having the right to bear arms? How does this ‘right’ actually manifest in real-life volatile situations and who does it benefit?

Secondly, wouldn’t the reasonable expectation be that agents of a law enforcement organisation are (or should be) among the best-trained people in relation to handling and using firearms?

The current brutal crack-down doesn’t bode well in relation to minimising social divisions as time goes on.

In Australia, a news report from one of our major TV networks included an interview with a Minneapolis spokeswoman and citizen. She claimed that the current ICE crackdown was brought on by the Nick Shirley video exposing alleged fraud in relation to daycare and healthcare centres. Her general stance is that Nick Shirley is not a journalist and his video was not factually correct or reliable. She said it was an example of “fake news.”

This situation is becoming more and more unclear. The dangerous thing is that it’s also becoming so volatile.

It makes me wonder why the claims made in Nick Shirley’s video about government funding weren’t investigated in an administrative or regulatory benign way? How does a violent crackdown by agents with rifles actually fix anything?

      Hi WN,
I’m kind of glad you brought this up. I was actually going to email Mr. Tudor because I know he’ll use logic and go to the evidence. There’s so many mixed messages and it’s very unsettling.

Here’s my take though. Trump sent ICE agents to Minneapolis to address the illegal Somalian immigrant population. Walz & Frey aren’t cooperating with the federal government by handling crowd control. Instead Trump had to send in border patrol agents to help with that. To me, it should be a team effort.

Also, these protests aren’t peaceful. They’re riots and they’re obstructing justice. They’re trying to stop the ICE agents and border patrol from doing their job. They’re throwing bricks and frozen water bottles at the agents. That’s not peaceful. I think the left withholds this information on purpose.

I agree that its causing a wider divide and I do find that incredibly alarming. What bothers me most about these tragic deaths is that I think neither Trump, nor Walz cares. They only care about their agenda.

      Mr. Tudor
Would you consider analyzing this latest tragedy in Minneapolis?

hmmm … reading about the Trump Administration’s initial responses to the death of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis is interesting.

Hasn’t taken me long to learn of Stephen Miller, the White House Deputy Chief of Staff for policy and the homeland security advisor.

Miller is a senior advisor to Trump and is described in Wikipedia as “a central figure in the Trump administration’s immigration policy, including the family separation policy and Executive Order 13769, which restricted travel from several Muslim-majority countries.”

He is also described as “far-right, anti-immigration, and white nationalist.”

Interestingly, Miller’s uncle, David Glosser, spoke out about him seven years ago. Glosser wrote an op-ed article in Politico Magazine back in 2018. In the article he described Stephen Miller, his nephew, as an “immigration hypocrite.”

      Glosser wrote in his article:
“I have watched with dismay and increasing horror as my nephew, an educated man who is well aware of his heritage, has become the architect of immigration policies that repudiate the very foundation of our family’s life in this country.”

In the article, Glosser explains that Stephen Miller is the product of a Jewish family. His ancestor Wolf-Leib Glosser, landed at Ellis Island in 1903 as a refugee. Wolf-Leib fled to the United States to escape violent anti-Jewish persecution.

Glosser further wrote that Stephen Miller would probably not exist if American policies back in 1903 were the same as what Miller now espouses.

It’s quite an article and it’s well worth reading.

If anyone is interested, the title is:
‘Stephen Miller Is an Immigration Hypocrite. I Know Because I’m His Uncle.’
By David S. Glosser, dated 13 August, 2018.
