World Building

thNZ3EF0VFWhen I first seduce you, you I will tell you with such great earnest that I want to be your world. I really do mean that. I want to create the world that you live in. I want to formulate your reality so that it is shaped to what I want and thus it will grant me what I require far more readily. I achieve this (and believe me I always succeed because as I keep telling you, I chose you because you are grade A material for my machinations) through a number of means. My total seduction of you results in all your focus falling on me. You will ignore what others say to you. You will hear only my voice. You only want to hear my voice. I will carefully an methodically remove your support networks so there can be no outside interference from the real world, in the reality that I am creating for you. With the distractions utilised and your mind set on me and nothing else, you are a blank canvas for me to weave my magic upon.

Utilising my trusty friend silent treatment I will have you anxious. I will throw in the occasional bout of unprovoked rage which will similarly heighten your anxiety and ensure you want to avoid any repetition in the future. I will then push and pull and push and pull, just as I might if I were kneading some dough until you have delightfully pliable and malleable. You will begin to see the world through my eyes because you will want to ensure you know the right thing to do. You will second guess me. I will play my games (gaslighting as I recently learnt) so that you are perplexed, doubtful and your sense of self-worth disappears down the plughole. You become utterly reliant on me for anything and everything so that I become your world. See what a magnificent world you and me have created together. The astonishing thing is that you don’t even realise what is happening to you as this world of mine springs up around you. Suddenly, it is complete and you are stuck inside it. Scream as loud as you like because this world is soundproofed.

I can’t believe that nothing from here nor from other posts puts me off… Why would I scream. Don’t You understand that someone might want that world? 🚷

      Everybody does Maddie.

        For Maddie and “Everybody”:
His hands were in her hair again. The tightening of his grip pulling her head back and exposing her neck to his mouth. “Please,” she thought silently as the tears ran down her face. Tears he wouldn’t see. She was an object to him and she knew that. She was just an avatar for his need, one of many. “Please when will I be strong enough to resist this,” she thought as she attempted to suppress the heave of a shameful weep escaping. The encounter proceeded in the predictable and familiar way without him taking any notice of her.

She knew this was unhealthy, and she hated this side of herself. The side that abdicated her self-reliance, abdicated her independence, and overshadowed her will. And yet her shame and her sense of dignity was no match for the smell of him and the feel of his skin, and the comfort and safety of his hands on her, all over her. It was like he built and rebuilt her with each encounter, affirming her existence. But deep down she knew this wasn’t her true identity, and with each encounter her ability to forge an identity outside of this dynamic seemed increasingly futile.

It wasn’t even him in particular that had a hold over her. It was any of them. Any confident and settled predator could find her and take her and forge her into any image he wanted. She was as powerless against a man who knew himself and knew his own strength as a sparrow was powerless against a storm. “At least sparrows instinctively hide from the storm,” she thought, “I don’t even have the instinct to do that.” and the tears of shame and despair continued to roll down her cheeks. Not that he noticed. He didn’t look at her. He wasn’t interested in her. He didn’t know her and didn’t want to know her. She was an avatar for his fantasy and she knew it. But the shame was too much for her to look at anymore so she surrendered to him again, accepting the pleasure and allowing the emotional energy that seemed to accumulate within her to find release, but keeping even that hidden. If he suspected that she felt anything for him it would inevitably result in rejection later. She had learned to hide at least from that.

Days later, when time and distance had kept them apart, her pursuits and the works of her hands were beginning to find footing again in the world. Space was being made for her true existence and for her true self to abide alongside other members of the human race. Her true identity was beginning to manifest in her garden, in her kitchen, in her community, at her job. Her intelligence, her humor, and her kindness were gifts she shared generously with those within her sphere. Inner peace, the joy of shared experiences, and true contentment were the ropes with which she was moored safely in a calm harbor. And the sunrises followed the sunsets, an invaluable blessing of predictably.

Her nervous system was calm and regulated, and had been for days. Sitting on the back deck of her tidy small dwelling, listening to the chirping of squirrels in the trees and the soft whirr of the hummingbirds at the feeder, her heart suddenly dropped in her chest. It was unmistakable, the roar of his truck approaching from the main highway, slowing for the turn onto the residential road before it increased yet again. And as the roar approached, increasing in volume, subjugating the sounds of balanced and cooperative woodland life, she could see in her mind’s eye his boot pressing down on the accelerator. Her heart rate increased, her anxiety rising, she suddenly felt it, his boot, on her neck yet again.

Hmm.. Soundproof you say? I’ve been brought up by a narcissist mother and an enabler father.

It was drummed into me and my sister over and over again that we should never let anyone else know what goes on in our house. So not only soundproof but placed in a vacuum where there’s no sound.

My soon to be ex tried his hardest to do that but he was NOT successful . Because I’m a BADASS woman. 😄

This is totally what happened to me !! I didn’t realise but was starting to feel lonely in relationship. When I caught the second time with NS. He broke up with me before I could break up with him. If I never caught him the second time he would have stayed. It’s only now I realise how cut off I’d become !!

    1. Stacey says:

Same thing happened to me… I managed to escape somehow though. THANK GOD. I’m truly blessed. But it ain’t over yet. He’s talking to one of my good freinds and trying to get information on me . I hope this stops one day. He sickens me.

      1. malignnarc says:

Unless he is malign he will move on to someone else and forget about you. Of course, if you give him some attention in any form then he will be straight back onto you. We sense attention like a fat man sniffs out cake.

    2. malignnarc says:

Indeed, our aim is to isolate you so that you become our sole plaything. Cutting you off from everything else and trapping you in the world that we create for you serves a purpose on several levels.
