Earlier today this blog breached the 5 000 000 mark for the number of hits obtained. Another milestone and one achieved on the target day I specified which was just 49 days since 4 million was surpassed.
Once again thank you to you my readers for your continued involvement with my work, your comments, observations, rants and questions.
Just like the relationship between those you have entangled with, ours is a symbiotic one.
Do continue to spread the word wherever you can, more than ever the combined force of my unrivalled insight and your support for others of your kind is needed and must be spread around the world.

Well done HG! I, for one co-dependant super empath, deeply appreciate your willingness to inform us of what has happened. Your writing is eloquent, dreamlike, nightmarish, and hits home. I have escaped my narc after 5 years of torture almost 4 weeks ago. No contact, with the exception of email. He has very valuable things of mine in our “retirement home” that he future faked building with me. I fantasized getting them returned. I have mentally let them go. Here’s a hypothetical you might find entertaining…
If you were given the chance to be interviewed on TV would you take it?
There would be say 4 million Brits watching. But on the downside your exes would go to your boss and get you fired with the evidence of your interview.
So, in the end you’d be a celebrity of sorts….kinda infamous. You’d be recognised ocasionally, but due to the loss of the job you would have to live in a smaller house and drive a boring car.
Would you take the deal?
If you dont answer ill assume you dont find hypotheticals interesting 🙂
I would be interviewed in a way so that my real identity would not be disclosed.
You will never reveal your true identity, at any point? I sense to do so would be dangerous and detrimental. You must be in a position of government law, I can only speculate
If HG revealed his identity, we would all steer clear and I don’t mean just those of us who comment on here but in general, and the supply of fuel might dwindle.
Having said that HG, there must be some of your acquaintances that know you are behind this website and blog. Are you ever concerned that any of them might reveal your identity perhaps out of revenge?
No, they do not know and therefore I have no concerns in that regard.
I believe revealing his identity would only compromise his profession and probably significantly. Further, revealing his identity, IMO, would only up the fuel level significantly, in a celebrity sort of way. There would be more women throwing themselves at him… some probably just from this blog,…. 5 million or more, maybe… this is how I see it

I guess it could work both ways. Those who have been burned by narcs would want to steer clear (if they had the good sense) but as you say humans are curious and there are those that would want to poke and prod and try to dissect HG knowing what he is and of course as C says there will be those celeb hangers on. As to compromising his profession, possibly, but if he became famous enough he could live off his narcopathy; I’m sure he would find ingenious way to earn money from his fame.

Ive wondered how you can keep your identity hidden HG bc you and Sam Vaknin are the only two narcissists ive come across educating people on narcissism. Your stories alone could be a giveaway to past exes but im sure details are changed and possibly the stories are similiar in nature but altered enough so no one would know.
I say keep your identity hidden if it poses a threat to your life/career. You certainly dont need to let people see you to make a difference thats been proven here. I think its unique and a trademark not knowing lol it reminds me of that series home improvement from the 90s where we never see the neighbor on the other side of the fence lol

When i first researched abt narcissism on the internet, i searched the web, but didn’t find too much information other than sam vaknin’s works and the DSM definition. I then tried youtube and typed ‘interview with a narcissist’ because i wanted more insight frm the narcissist himself. I believe at that time, there was one interview of HG’s. I listened with much interest, and was led to narcsite.com. From then on, i have been here, and it is such a great support system. I’ve watched richard g’s vids and vaknin’s vids too, but i was still not learning what i needed to know. If other pple are looking to youtube for answers, now HG has videos uploaded there! It is no wonder his dedication and hard work are having a dramatic effect and his works are spreading at such a fast rate. Very well deserved!! 🎊🎊🎊

Seriously? In order to subscribe to your youtube channel I had to create a Google acct. and any comments I make will come up under my own name. It asked me for a username and I created one but it still brings up my real name when I go to comment. Googled the issue and got people complaining of same and some jargon about creating other channels etc but no easy fix. Obviously Im doing something wrong but my life isnt long enough to be this annoyed so I guess Im out.

Oh dang, this is an issue? I signed up for YouTube under my preferred handle name though I do have a Google account as well that may have my actual name. How do we know which will show up. I am new to this YT world, other than watching various videos without commenting. Is it different when on a phone versus lappy?
The YT name will appear as your preferred handle name. I use a different name for the google account and it is the YT name which appears.

Hi HG! How will the YT format work exactly? I thought it may be like the interviews were with Bree Bonchay where followers typed in their questions and you read them that way? Or we actually get to hear each other? How do you choose who to call on? Do you want a head’s up on a question we may ask?
You type in a question and I will pick ones to answer and you will hear me answer them. So for example I will state “Hairy Little Empath asks, “HG what is your favourite flower”, well Hairy Little Empath that has to be a dead one.”
You stand more chance of having a question selected if it is not convoluted.

Yes i have only ever watched the vids so when I subscribed to Tudes channel it forced me to set up Google acct. Stupid of me to think when they asked me for a user name thats what would be used but no, when I went to comment on the vid it used my real name (and warned me what name it would show). So just a warning to others. Guess you gotta use your Narc traits (mock horror) and lie when setting it up. Much fuel was flowing and wasted (my fury ignited and there may have been spittle) after all that time wasted (took me forever to find user name not taken only to have my real name appear). In any case Im sure everyone else in the universe will be fine-its just out to fk me up.

I have two accounts on YouTube one under my name and one under Twilight Dreams. I use Twilight when I want to remain anonymous, This account thou even the email address is under Twilight Dreams so no one can actually see my name. It took me awhile to become comfortable with this as to it still feels as if I am lying.
