When my narcissist managed to lie and “charm” the judge, his attorney, and even MY attorney to get away with hiding over $100,000 of my 401k and earnings over nearly two years I was devastated and felt raped in every way. The ONLY area in which I prevailed was in obtaining a two-year Order Of Protection (the longest Texas allows). I testified in open court as to marital rape (twice) and beatings over 11 years, during which I sustained a broken nose (3 times). He was incandescent with rage, but there was nothing he could do. He had been arrested once for domestic battery (ironic because it was he who called to try to get me out of “his” house). I’m pretty sure I won’t ever be hoovered due to his fury over this. I honestly do not feel in danger, but somehow I felt strongly that there needed to be something that another woman could look up about him as a warning. I wish I had known…
