Divorcing A Narcissist

  1. Anm says:

My child custody case has been going on for 3 years now. My Narcissist Ex and I have both had attorneys come and go. His current attorney is a Narcissist, and encourage the high conflict and dragging things out. My attorney was good, but recently quit when he realized how high conflict it was, and that we were headed for trial. I was so devastated with the uncertainty, and having to find a new one so late in the game. Everything happens for a reason.
I ended up pulling court records, looking up all of my Ex’s Attorney’s cases and hearings. She has a common theme with being overly accusatory, and taking everything to trial. I found my current attorney, by finding the one attorney who kicks her butt and shuts her down every time. He will take my money like any other attorney, but it’s good to know that he knows who and what he is up against. HG, I think you would agree on his approach. When I talk to him about my case, I bring up all of the lies and abuse my ex and his attorney have done against me. He’s isn’t interested in exposing them or playing their pitty games. He advises that I need to work on my defenses, and present my strengths and empath side until my ex loses and their accusations become petty to the courts.
