Dear Mr Tudor,
My mum refuses to pick up the phone to call her uncle, the only relly left of her vintage (because it’s HIS turn, even though he has cancer) !
Mum also refuses to write to her oldest friend in England (because mum didn’t receive a Christmas card in the post from her) !
Talk about childish n petty
Mum talks of suicide constantly
Our dear old friend (one of the brothers) has alienated his whole family against him because “he doesn’t like being told what to do” by them
His daughter n husband, (who’s attitude has changed enormously from coming into an huge amount of money and is finding him a nuisance n burden) are now threatening to put him into a home and in turn, he is threatening to hang himself ….now that sounds familiar …. we are his “only” friends … again that sounds familiar
Being stubborn and aggressive gets you no where
Narcs just don’t get it and it definitely gets worse with age (when you do go and see them, you’re in for more crap)

My hubbys mother does this. She cant stand time alone and when she does she gets in a pissy mood over the phone and treats him like crap. She makes it about other things and creates conflict bc shes miserable and doesnt have an audience to cater to her.
