One can control notifications for each and every phone number. at least on iPhone anyway.
You can on android too in settings. I utube a lot of how to vids. Ive had my phone 2 yrs and am still learning new things.

Guilty. Ive made sure my notifications are not pop ups. Even if the situation was different id still not want my notifications sitting out in the open for anyone to read.
Notifications do not appear on my locked screen either. And I don’t like it when people have theirs on and the phone lying around. I can’t help but look and I feel like I’m invading their privacy.
