I consider myself one of the lucky ones that was not left high and dry as an IPPS. Us DLS’s might have escaped with our ET thru the roof but at least we still had a roof for it to go thru. I feel the empathic need to help to others get the F out with as little damage as possible.
It is most interesting and rewarding seeing your evolution Kim E. This is what happens when you follow my direction and apply logic.

I did not find it curious that you would say it is rewarding for you but what makes it interesting?

Ahh! You have a very strong Saviour strand in you. That’s very good. But be careful how you focus that magnificent energy.
To my shame, I have been a DLS twice. I ask myself why and the G ex provided an answer. It was fulfilling a fundemental need in me.
Of course, I didnt understand his words at the time but on reflection, now I do.
These are just my thoughts but we do need to be very careful. Some emps ate ready to hear the truth. Others will cling on in their widows weeds to the ghost of what relationship they perceive themselves to be in.
The truth is daming and frightening for them. But once they get past that then anything and everything is possible.
I percieve that you are helping others. That is good but always be careful where your own energy goes.

Thanks for the warning about where my energy goes. We get ourselves too relaxed, open the blinds and say to the world……”I am over this BS. Here I come” and end up smack dap where we were before.
And I beleive your G was correct. We are/were in their clutches because of a fundamental that was not or is not being met. Being good to ourselves and realizing we are who we are helps/

You’ve contradicted yourself in your first paragraph. Understandably. The wish to help others is the essence of saviour itself. I have it too. And quite frankly, I could do without it.
I utterly agree with your sentiments wrt your second paragraph. Narcs first target that need within ourselves then they exploit it. For their own gain.
Empaths do not behave in such a manner. We just want to love and be loved ourselves. It’s far trickier then we would ever possibly imagine.
Your sentiments are applauded but it’s just not that simple. If only it were.
I intend to carry on. You should also do the same.
