Thanks for this HG. After 2 listens I have plugged the last gap in the No Contact wall which was breached this week and had me plummeting back into turmoil and anxiety, feeling helpless and weak, unable to think straight or focus on anything other than my heart beating like a fucked clock at the sight of his name on my phone. I thought I could just ignore an email but that was niaive. I knew the gap was there but decided that I’d take the risk rather than look foolish or weak infront of other people and have to ask for help. I listened to the commandments though and reached out to decent people and asked for help in monitoring an email address because there was someone I didn’t want to be in contact with, ‘of course, no problem, I’ll forward anything you need to see and delete anything that is not club business’. As the merecat says ‘simples!’. I’m not back to square one as I feared, it was a set back, yes, but listening to this prompted me to take another step foward. Thanks again

You are welcome. This is high quality information in this Logic Bulletin and must be added to everybody’s armoury.

    2. MB says:

I’m so proud of you NotMe 🥰

And HG of course, audio file received.

Okay, NO CONTACT officially only started today. Just moments ago I filled out the NDC form and sent it to HG, after which I went to Instagram, which incidentally was the last social medium where the Narc beat me at blocking ME as opposed to me blocking HIM (I blocked him on Facebook, FB Messenger, LinkedIn, Twitter, WhatsApp, phone, Gmail, all I could think of). I was about to tag a friend of mine in a comment, clicked @… and the Instagram gave me a list of suggestions to tag, which included the Narc. He unblocked me after one month. So, I went to his page and blocked him. That’s all. No more.

HG, I know I still need to do a lot of work with ET management and NC maintenance, but believe me when I say it took a lot of guts to put a final full stop on social media blocks and I am proud of myself.

    1. HG Tudor says:

Well done, keep it that way.

    2. Mercy says:

Dolores, FYI for future reference you can double block on Instagram in case he ever gets the block on you first.

      1. Dolores Haze says:

Thank you, Mercy! I have no intention to unblock him.

But I’m interested to know about “double blocking”, how does that work?

        1. Mercy says:

Dolores, if they get the block on you first, you can still type their user name in the search bar then block them. You have to do it within the first couple hours that you were blocked. Their page will come up as no content. Click the 3 dots then hit block. There is a glich on IG and doing this makes it nearly impossible to unblock them in the future even if they unblock you first which is perfect for those of us that have emotional thinking moments. You literally have to research how to unblock them then download another app to do it. By then, emotional thinking is under control… hopefully!

          1. Dolores Haze says:

Thank you, Mercy! So many bells and whistles that it confirms yet again – no reason to ever unblock the guy.

          2. Mercy says:

I like the way you’re thinking Dolores! Inspiring and good job!

    3. Desirée says:

Well done, Dolores, sounds like you’ve already taken important steps in the right direction. Once you go completely NC, ET is far easier to deal with.

      1. Dolores Haze says:

Thank you, Desirée! I do feel more at peace already. I’m glad I found HG’s site at the right moment. It was high time to get out and stay out, but pre-HG I didn’t realize what I was dealing with and didn’t know what to do next.

    4. MB says:

I’m so proud of you Dolores 🥰

      1. Dolores Haze says:

        Thank you, sweet MB!

  4. MB says:

    It will NotMe!

  5. NotMe! says:

I’m hoping this will tell me how to recover from falling off the wagon, thanks

    1. Dolores Haze says:

It’s not easy, NotMe! is it? You’ll do great from now on, I’m sure. A big virtual hug 🤗
