I’m growing the vault, reading the “Shelf” audiofile descriptions and wondering:

You are either on the shelf or off it. In what way you do you envisage both being on and off the shelf, if you elaborate I will unravel it further for you.
Project triangulation.
Let’s say Narc Boss has you in a Golden Period for a week/month/year, and has you involved in all sorts of projects.
Then you inadvertently wound him, and all the sudden you’re being moved off projects, replaced by a colleague who is given a Golden Period.
Then you’re back on the project for a reason unbeknownst to you and colleague is in a holding pattern.
And round and round it goes with the whole team.

1. You would be a NISS to the narcissist boss.
2. Your involvement in the project is a mix of being on the shelf (you are left to get on with your work) and taken off the shelf (when you have a meeting with the boss, when you have a telephone discussion, when there is an exchange of emails).
3. If you are taken off the project, that is a Corrective Devaluation. You are placed on the shelf and left there because the narcissist boss is having nothing to do with you. Your replacement may be triangulated with you, because you see this person has replaced you, but you remain on the shelf because the narcissist is not interacting with you. You can be triangulated whilst on the shelf. You are painted black on the shelf.
4. You are reinstated to the project. You can be on the shelf still even though you are reinstated, because the narcissist boss is not interacting with you. You are painted white on the shelf.

I prefer to think of covid as a virus also. We don’t have any other information at present. The good news is that teams of people are working on a vaccine- I just need to revisit my thoughts on injecting poison now 😆😉
