Normals really are nose down and I do think they can be boring.
I do think empaths have a lot of depth and connect to each other. That’s probably why we are attracted And connect to narcissists – they mirror our empathy so we are fooled. It’s a paradox to me that I have never been involved with an empath as a boyfriend though I do think I’ve had dates with normals but they’ve never gone very far to the point of a relationship as I suspect I found them boring. Why doEs it seem that all the empath men get tied up with narcissist women and vice versa? Irony of life?
It is an irony, and one which I think HG explains very well in terms of the narcissist’s attraction to empaths and the empaths addiction to narcissists.
Call it a ‘fatal attraction’.
Pretty sure everything we need to combat that we will find right here.
I personally don’t find the comments that Normals as boring accurate as my husband is a Normal and he is far from boring. He’s one of the funniest people I have ever met. Most of his patients don’t just like him, they actually really love him. They bring him little gifts like food or stuff that they made and they love telling him their life stories. When his patients see me somewhere in public they have to tell me how amazing he is. I think that it really depends on the individual person.

1. August 31, 2015, HG Tudor launches the Knowing the Narcissist at narcsite.com. The same year, HG launches his presence on several social media platforms, and offers his now best-selling books on all aspects of narcissism on Amazon.

The reason I wrote this tribute, is because there is so much more that goes into achieving 20 million hits than most would ever realize. Everything single thing HG has done — all the time and money he has invested, all the decisions he makes, everything he reveals, everything he creates, and every comment he moderates — lead to this remarkable achievement and it is phenomenal. I hoped he would enjoy this form of gratitude and congratulations, because he has given us all so much that is priceless.

I started reading regularly only this last Autumn, and even in that time, the growth in both material and readers has been remarkable.
By growth, I don’t just mean numbers. I’ve seen people posting who were nearly incoherent with confusion and fear when they started, and they are now calm and thinking clearly. People who didn’t have a clue what their next move should be have by now made the moves HG recommended, and got out of situations that ranged from depressing to downright terrifying.
People whose behavior never made sense to me, from my Frenemy in Jr. High to the woman in grad school who glared in total rage at other students if the instructor liked their comments, had drives I can now understand to some extent, even if I don’t share them.
Excellent perspective, V. We have all grown as a result of reading and interacting with HG in so many ways. That kind of education is invaluable and changes our lives forever for the better.

One thing I really value and respect is honesty. And this blog is about as honest as it can get. In many ways… I do not regret this past encounter with my narc, because if it hadn’t happened I wouldn’t have found here where I found information that I can now carry with me for the rest of my life. HG the small amount of money that you charge for your work, $5 here $10 there, do you add this money into the angel fund since you do not ask for donations any longer? It’s just a suspicion that I’ve had since you started charging such a minimal amount.

I knew it!
