A narc should really learn to replace the word love with control .. “I control you” it would make the playing feild a lot more even. Replace it yourself every time he Hoover’s “ I can’t live without controlling you “ “ You are such a great supply source I dont want to not control you” or whatever his
Method is. If we change the language to what it actually means… it sounds a hell of a lot less romantic!
Indeed it would make your lives somewhat easier but this will never happen because the majority of narcissists do not know what they are, the real reason they behave as they do and erroneously believe they love, when they are incapable of doing so.
Luckily we have you H.G. to know what it means 🙂
Also, in the narcs defence… infatuation does feel like love, I often think even we empaths get that one mixed up on many occasions.
