Why You’re Addicted to the Narcissist

As part of the implementation and maintenance of your no contact regime, it is necessary for you to understand a very important person – you.

You need to understand that you have an addiction, an addiction to the narcissist.

Why do you have this addiction? What is its foundation? Why is it so powerful? Why does it prevail even when you gain extensive knowledge about escaping the narcissist? Why do you know the narcissist is bad for you yet keep engaging with the narcissist in some form? Why is it so hard to overcome? Why does it have such a grip on you?

This Assistance Package answers all of these questions and more and is a FUNDAMENTAL necessity of achieving freedom from the narcissist.

I do need to read this I think. I do not get how we are addicted. If narcs are attracted to a certain type of person than the pool of possible suitors becomes polluted. If you have one who is not a narc and 3 who are, unless you are aware – than the odds suggest one is likely to choose a narc.

They are very effective at mimicking you and making you think they are a match made in heaven. Is this addiction on our part – or manipulation on theirs?

My first boyfriend – a lesser had a jealous fit on my returning home from the zoo with work friends (male and female friends). I remember saying things like – ‘yes – didn’t you know we did in the van where everyone could watch us.’ – ‘yes – had to show the animals how it is done’. I got out of his car – shut the car door and did not look back.

Dated a midrange once who had a row with my brother in my parents home (first time and last that he was invited). I walked away and did not look back.

The only one to get under my skin was my ex. Is it we are addicted to narc’s in general – or one particular one – who for whatever the reason – get under our skin?

Like I say I do need to read it 😉

I always wondered out of every apple 🍎 on the tree. I ended up with the bad one… everrrrry time!🙄. The saying goes: good girls like bad guys and bad guys like good girls. I see it’s truth in it.
