When I read “The narcissist must never be accountable because this would mean submitting to the control of another” in this article, the line “A lack of control now returns us to the lack of control then” from HG’s ‘The Creation of Narcissism : To Control is to Cope’ came to my mind.
I, too, instinctively experienced similar ‘responses’, without understanding why I ‘reacted’ the way I did because as a child of a narcissist and someone with neurodiversities, I was too young to know any different.
