HG, firstly I will apologise for such a late submission of my comment on your ‘Ask HG Episode 6’ series.
Your answers provided some interesting examples ie as such when the reduction of emotional empathy occurs and using the percentages as a visual made me understand better about the tipping of the ‘scales’ of narcissistic and empathic traits.
RE: Part 7: My interest was piqued at the mention of a name not fitting, which prompted me to look into my own. I was amused and enlightened at my research. I did wonder for a moment as to whether muvver was instinctively “testing” my loyalty (asserting her control) when she told me that an ex of my father’s name was used to name me, at the same time ‘smearing’ his ex (by ‘re-directing’ her jealousy), as well smearing as my father (painting him black) because muvver, in her perception, ‘owned’ him even before they met!
It was good to see someone saying about you delivering your work and them as recipient(s) as “mutual benefiting” – I agree.
HG, I liked the variety of the questions in your ‘Ask HG Episode 6’ series. Your answers are a mixture of educational; entertaining; insightful; precision; humour; accuracy, all done with your honest and direct approach.
Thank you so much, HG, for your time in producing these videos. I found them very beneficial and enjoyable.
