After 9.5 years no contact, no communication, nada, around 2 weeks ago, I get a message. Around 10 words, nothing else. I thought to myself, is that all you have to say? After 9.5 years?! Wow. That’s “family”, just taking the piss. Did I cry? No. Did my ET raise? No. I actually felt nothing. Today, I blocked them. I’d learned about the various behaviours that narcissistic people / narcissists apply. There is enough of past incidents to tell me what I needed to know and what to do about it. I have no regrets about my decision. I wrote to a friend to explain this and I know she will support me.
