Knowing the Narcissist : Silent Night

SILENT NIGHT

Silent night, frozen out night,

You’re not calm, feeling shite,

He’s gone missing, leaving you riled

Left alone, bereft and reviled

Should you call the police?

When will this behaviour cease?

Silent night, absent night,

‘Phone not answered, it’s not right,

Left you crying tears on your face,

You’ll keep searching, it’s part of the chase

Taking apart your self-worth

As he gives you a wide berth

Silent night, lonely night,

He’s disappeared from your sight,

How is this meant to be love?

This time you’ve had enough

Change the locks, end the contract

It’s time for no contact

    Merry Christmas, HG!

I hope you have a well-fuelled Yuletide and a productive and prosperous new year in 2024.

Thank you for another year of unrivalled education about narcissism, with all the fun, humour, answers and enjoyable discussions that only you and this blog can provide. It’s been a great year!

This time of year also makes me think back to previous years when your Christmas videos and stories added a wonderful touch to the festive season. Thank you for those times too.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the readers and commenters as well!

Christmas songs always put me off before, but you’re changing my ways, HG.

    Dear HG,

Did you do one for ‘Drummer boy’ ?? That song is my favorite christmas song. Xx
