I’ve really enjoyed this series. Thank you for making it so detailed! Your work is always thorough. I appreciate how long the analyses are. It was especially informative to hear your thoughts on the Piers Morgan interview with the real Martha. I watched that interview before I watched your analysis (I knew your analysis was coming, and I wanted to see how I ).
You assessed Martha with erotomania, Schizoaffective, and as narcissistic on your spectrum.
1. What caused her the most difficulty in her presentation of her story in the Morgan interview? Her behaviours or many people having already seen Gad’s side of the story and believing it?
2. Did her clumsy ability to lie have more to do with her lower cognitive function or more to do with the delusions from Schizoaffective?
3. Have you observed (personally) people with schizoaffective who were more proficient at lying (more taken by their delusions) who exhibited more emotional empathy?
4. Are there those with erotomania who exhibit strong emotional empathy toward the person who has their affection that you’ve observed?

Absolutely brilliantly done, HG’s work on this series. In my opinion, it is an extremely useful training tool for ie police, psychologists and so on when working with clients / victims of complex cases like the people involved in this story, especially when narcissism may be more than the ‘driving factor’ of the behaviours that result in as such actions / thoughts (emotions, if any) being brought to the fore. Some victims may have too much difficulty in ‘accessing’ the information that they may have suppressed within their memories, including those that may have less cognitive (& emotional) capability to understand what caused their initial trauma(s) (whether in childhood or later in life) so they may have ‘missed out’ on the right support to be available at the right time with the right people that do understand the human’s responses to trauma. The vast range of neurological pathways in ie those with autism; ADHD; etc of minds that operate differently and that also needs to be taken into consideration. So much to decipher, to analyse, the ‘forensics’ and the need to have individuals who have knowledge & the skills to break all this information down in order to ‘draw’ a whole book / picture of the ie ‘Baby Reindeer’ case. This whole ‘systematic methodical approach’ needs to be prepared before a court / Judge is presented with this information – then again, the Judge may be another matter.
The victims / perpetrators and the rescuers need to be given HG’s tools / resources to aid and assist their understanding and their part (role) in the cases too. The Law exists to protect, guide people & systems to safeguarding the world as a whole………..
no wonder it is a fucking mess.

I never liked Richard Gadd the moment I saw him in the series. I felt very uneasy with him and had an inkling something was not quite right all along . I kinda like Martha …..maybe it’s my 43% Scottish heritage haha

Thank you for your reply. I’ve not seen the dramatised series. I did do a bit of reading and viewed HG’s videos on the analyses, including his conclusion on the female.
Cahoots? Interesting suggestion. Possibly unlikely though (basing that from HG’s analyses). Since it is an ongoing ‘case’, it is not all out in the open so to speak (facts / evidence).
There is so much going on in the world today to the point where it could be considered an overload to some. I was rather saddened by the news of the doctor who died and I found some of his programmes interesting to watch.
