Narcs is the hood:
So I will share a recent occurrence in Southern California: my HOA hired a goat herder to eat the 14 acres of weed. We are a half mile from the beach and surrounded by nature. I love it. I was excited about the goats but it turned nasty. A non board member emailed him for one week. The goat owner replied “ yes. But he had options. Do you want a trailer, airstream, how many acres.” He sent in a bid and the board president accepted and paid by personal check. No one vetted him, lots of lawsuits. So, a board member got angry at him as the goat was eating native plants not weeds. ??? And they fired him after 7 days. He expected 6 weeks as his bid said mid June. So there was no meeting of the minds. Then chaos occurred. The VP of the board screamed at him, calling him multiple times the N word on consented video as “ it’s a free country.” People have tak n his goats, spray painted you fuck goats, come with attack dogs, a few men have flexed there muscles storming him. He doesn’t have the money to leave unless paid and is being called a squatter. I stepped in, he found me and I disclosed the conflict but tried to get him paid enough to leave while offering a settlement to the board that would protect them and certain individual members from a lawsuit. Non-disparagement, non-disclosure and confidentiality and a lock tight waiver. My rationale is the money the HOA would pay the lawyer would be ten times as much and if he sued for racial discrimination, our insurance would go up. Win-win to settle. They rejected it. And they are harassing me with fines for my chair outside ( many have theirs out) and telling people I am brainwashed etc… it’s all ego. In general I am suspect of people who join the boards of HOAs as they often become control freaks if not before. But the lack of business acumen and the sheer ignorance and stupidity in their acts against this man is shocking if I didn’t know about narcs. He did a Mr Roger’s neighborhood of the actions. I will post it here to demonstrate if permitted.
Truly sad and I tried. Now is the goat owner an empath or a normal? I don’t think so. But if still hate racism or racist remarks or treating others cruelty. It starts with him and the mayor….
