The Psychopath Defends

As you know, people are appliances to me. They are there to serve my narcissism and my psychopathy. With regard to my narcissism, they must be controlled. In certain instances I will draw fuel from those people. In some instances, acquire character traits and residual benefits. From the perspective of my psychopathy, again, people must be controlled. They are there to stimulate me.. They are there to be accumulated. People are playthings. But there are occasions whereby people are deemed to be an asset. And since they are an extension of me, an extension of the Empire State of Tudor, There will be circumstances where I deem that an attack upon them is an attack upon me and therefore necessitates defence. To demonstrate this point,  I thought I would share with you a story from a number of years ago to exhibit various facets of my psychopathy and aspects of my narcissism with regard to the act of defence.

You see, as a psychopath, I’m not the crude, knife-wielding caricature of popular imagination. What I am is a refined predator, a master of the human psyche, cloaked in charm, and armed with an intellect that dissects the world with surgical precision. My mind is a fortress, unencumbered by the frailties of empathy or fear, and on this particular night I was sat in the amber glow of a rooftop bar in a glittering cosmopolitan city. I was in my element. The skyline sparkled like a trophy case of my conquests, each light a testament to my control, my power, my supremacy. Beside me sat my girlfriend at the time, Tabitha, a vision of curated elegance, her blonde hair catching the city’s neon pulse, her laughter, a delicate chime that drew envious glances from lesser men. She was, that current prize, a mirror to reflect my grandeur, a canvas for my artistry. She sat sipping her martini, unaware of the currents of calculation that swirled beneath my polished exterior. I think it was fair to say that at that moment in time I was close to as contentment as my kind can ever be, for I basked in the fuel of her adoration, and also relished the envious stares of others in the room but those were just the icing on the cake of what had occurred earlier that day and in the week. But as is always the case, contentment is fleeting, and on that occasion the night was about to deliver a challenge, a challenge to my supremacy, a challenge to my possession.

It was a group of loud-mouthed aggressive men. The bar is a crucible of human weakness. Laughter too loud and intrusive. Egos, too fragile. Desires, too transparent. Yet, I would dismiss all of that as I sat at a high table, my tailored suit a silent declaration of superiority, my gaze silently scanning the room, assessing prey. Tabitha was recounting some trivial anecdote, her words just a pleasant hum, but my attention shifted as a raucous burst of laughter erupted from a corner table. Five men, in their mid-thirties, dressed in the garish confidence of those who mistake volume for authority.

Their leader, let’s call him Alpha, for he fancies himself as such, is a broad-shouldered brute with a shaved head and a voice that carries like a fog-horn. He has a wingman, who I’ve been watching, I’ll call him Beta. He is leaner, wiry, and carries a smirk that suggests that he fancies himself the clever one of the group. The other three are simply followers, their laughter a sycophantic echo, their poise, their postures submissive to the Alpha´s dominance of that particular group. As I’ve been listening to Tabitha, I’ve been observing them as I take in so much from around the room and note that this group are close to drunkenness their gestures are expansive, their eyes darting with the restless energy of men seeking trouble. I watch as the Alpha’s gaze landed on Tabitha and it lingered too long. I watched as his lips curled into a leer that betrayed his intent. I felt no jealousy. Whilst it is an emotion that I experience, it was not something that prevailed at that moment, but I did recognise that his look, his leer, was a challenge to my control, a sleight to my image. He exacerbated this by pointing towards Tabitha and then saying something inaudible to me, to his group. Whatever it was that he said caused the laughter to spike, creating a crude symphony of what was clear mockery. Tabitha picked up on the response also, for I noted that her body stiffened, her hand tightening on her glass. My appliance was being threatened, and thus so was I. I placed a hand upon hers. It gave her the reassurance that she sought. My smile, the blade that was sheathed in velvet.

“Do not concern yourself, darling,” I murmured, my voice low and soothing,a calculated balm to her unease. They are beneath us. I decided that dismissing them was the most appropriate way of dealing with them, and in order to protect my asset to encourage her to do the same. However, this initial response proved to be unfruitful, for the group are not content to remain in their corner. I watched as the Alpha rose, his movements deliberate, as he sought to test the waters also, and he was followed by Beta, the other three trailing behind, their confidence clearly bolstered by numbers and alcohol. I did not shift, but watched them, my gaze steady, as they walked across the room and approached our table, the Alpha’s bulk casting a shadow across the polished wood. The air shifted. It was now charged with the primal tension of impending conflict. Their movement towards us sparked a sensation of power within me, but it was not loose power, but rather that which had been harnessed. I felt the anticipation coursing through me.

My mind already began to film the situation and considered what might follow. Would I continue to ignore them, revelling in their irritation, provoking them further, wanting to jibe them towards making an attack that they would regret? Would I strike first, dealing a blow to one of them with the expectation that the others would scatter under this show of force and supremacy?

Would I engage with them with wit and humour, perhaps making new friends after all? Might these individuals prove to be of use to me? What I did know, that as I saw the flicker of unease in Tabitha’s eyes that my cold engine mind making all of his analyses recognized that the most important factor here was to defend my asset, to defend Tabitha.

What women seek in a romantic partner. “Forget bulging biceps – courage is what truly makes a potential partner attractive according to scientists.” (The Times)

A survey of 4,500 Americans found that courage rather than strength is the most desirable trait in a romantic partner. The willingness to step forward and protect a romantic partner was seen as being more important than actually stopping the assault.

I reviewed these articles to see if there was any evidence to suggest that the aggressors were actually lieutenants. There isn’t. Given that Tabitha is described favourably means she was in the golden period. We don’t learn how early in the golden period this event took place so use of lieutenants is certainly possible though not probable.

I hadn’t considered that until I read about the survey!

    1. Dani says:

      Truthseeker,

What do you mean by the use of lieutenants in the above comment?

I enjoyed your comment. It’s interesting to know that from The Times.

      1. truthseeker6157 says:

        Hi Dani,

My reference to use of lieutenants was based on how lieutenants are used during the seduction and golden period.

Often the lieutenants are used to gather information about a candidate IPPS. Sometimes they are deployed to flirt with a candidate IPPS to ascertain empathic traits, special traits etc. Essentially, use of lieutenants is often quite underhanded.

Later, in the golden period and whilst the IPPS is being embedded, they can be used to ‘smooth the way’. A welcoming friendship group that the IPPS slots into. They are there also to flatter and promote the narcissist, to bolster his reputation and portray him as a worthy prospect.

My thinking was that given HG’s understanding of the empath, given he would very well know that stepping forward to defend and protect his girl would be viewed favourably, in fact would be seen as highly attractive by the IPPS, would further bind her to him, would create the impression that she was cherished, loved, then it is possible that lieutenants could be used to stage an altercation such as the one described in the bar. The objective, binding and to further embed the IPPS.

However, reviewing the article there is nothing to suggest this is the case. I considered the idea based on the article in The Times prompting me to review these three articles. Upon review, my opinion is that use of lieutenants in this way and for those reasons is certainly possible. It’s certainly possible that an aware narcissist might mobilise his sizeable fuel matrix in this way. It’s therefore possible that HG did the same. Control, stimulation and accumulation, all three would be satisfied from a psychopathic perspective.

My original comment was really to point out that I hadn’t thought of lieutenants being a possibility. I often forget about that aspect, probably because my personal experience is with Mid Range narcissists. Greaters and the Ultra will utilise lieutenants far more frequently, therefore I should be on the lookout for how and when they are used when reading.

        1. Dani says:

          Hi TS!

When I first read the comment, I thought you were getting at something like that. I just wanted to be sure. I started to overthink. Based on the relating of this story, it didn’t happen here. But I do wonder if Mr. Tudor or Greaters would use lieutenants to play a part in a story like this. Fake menace a candidate IPPS to be given the metaphorical or perceived boot by Mr. Tudor or a Greater?

I would love to know more about how Tabitha handled the rest of the evening. I wish we could hear about it from her (though I know it won’t happen and I know why it won’t happen). I think that would be invaluable. I also wonder if Tabitha was the type of woman drawn to that more strongly or was at that time. I don’t think all women are powerfully drawn to a man who does that equally at all times of their life (though I imagine many women are drawn to it in varying degrees throughout life). There are others who might not respond to the protector aspect…but might be drawn to the man they need to “Heal and Fix” or the man who is “tamed” by them. I think knowing what degrees a woman is drawn to these varying tropes so prevalent in romance literature would inform Mr. Tudor enormously and a Greater would probably pick them up quickly as well. I feel sure that this is covered in “Sitting Target.” However, I am waiting for the audiobook version. I know that listening to Mr. Tudor read it will be an extra layer of information. I’m looking forward to laying still and just listening.

          1. truthseeker6157 says:

            Hi Dani,

I think you are right about not all women welcoming a protective stance equally at all points in their life. Sometimes I’d want to flex my own verbal skills of sarcasm and dispatch.

I will readily admit though, I do kind of conform to the results of the survey, annoyingly so. I only find very tall broad men attractive, not bruisers and scrappers but a man I would describe as being able to ‘handle himself.’ I don’t really lust over actors or celebrities, but there are certain modern fictional characters I gravitate towards.
They tend to be warrior types! Brooding, sarcastic. Brooding translates as ‘interesting’ to me I think. Openness translates as ‘too easy’.

          2. Leigh says:

            TS & Dani,
I want a man with courage whose willing to protect as well. Ugh! I hate to admit it but I have that now. As his most important appliance, he has to protect it.

Its interesting Dani, if the protection stopped while in devaluation, I don’t know what i would do. Protection & safety are important factors for me. I need to feel safe. If I felt unsafe and unprotected, I wonder how I would react.

I’m sure if Mr. Tudor stopped protecting Tabitha at some point, it must’ve caused confusion. But I’m not sure how she would’ve reacted

    2. Leigh says:

Shut the “F” Up, TS! Holy crap, my mind is blown! My mind has been blown quite a bit lately, lol!

The story didn’t sit well with me but my self doubt took over and I dismissed it as overthinking. I had thought it was odd that Mr. Tudor would just go outside with 4 random people in a bar. Maybe they’re lunatics and would put a bullet in his head. Would Mr. Tudor really be that careless? I also thought it was odd that it seemed to be all buttoned up and bowed so nicely. It felt like it was a presentation. But I couldn’t quite put my finger on why.

Son a bitch! They were lieutenants! TS, thank you for that!

      1. truthseeker6157 says:

Oh that really made me laugh Leigh.

I have no idea, as I said to Dani, my original comment was not to suggest that the protagonists were definitely lieutenants but rather I should at least have considered the possibility. I didn’t. It was only when I read the Times article that I linked it back to this scenario.
If women are particularly drawn to a partner who will wade into the fray to defend them ( I know I’m certainly not opposed to that idea) then why not create a situation where such attributes can be demonstrated? If that is what is required, then that is what shall be done.

All of that said, it’s also very possible that events unfolded exactly as described with genuine protagonists. Ultimately, the article demonstrates the psychopathic mindset. The assessment, the breaking of the targets and the acquisition of the Necessary Triad whilst also attending to the narcissistic aspects of control, fuel and residual benefits. That’s really the focus I think.

Lieutenants? Which numpty mentioned lieutenants?! Haha!

      2. Dani says:

        Leigh,

There’s no reason to think based of the story as it was related that they were lieutenants. The group of four were intoxicated to a certain degree. Mr. Tudor did consider briefly the possibility of them becoming lesser minions of his, but it was more important to defend Tabitha (lucky lady that evening). I would not be surprised to learn about Mr. Tudor setting a scene like this with lieutenants, but this was not that situation.

I just see the whole scene so clearly in my head of Mr. Tudor standing up and speaking down to these men. Then going outside to where they won’t be as visible, and Mr. Tudor not wasting a single drop of energy more than was needed, not a wrinkle put it in his suit or a hair displaced.

How would you have responded to him returning exactly as he described it happening after leaving under those circumstances? It’s difficult to say how Tabitha perceived the cohesiveness of the group. We know she was uneasy, but we don’t know her background well enough to say if it was natural female distress in that situation or if there were special traits in her background that enhanced the distress. We know that Mr. Tudor picked up that they weren’t as united as they appeared…but as his Jiminy Cricket or Shoulder Satan probably said, “Let your psychopathy be your guide./They’re going down!” — https://media.tenor.com/WCGyWer1omAAAAAM/path-that-rocks-lead.gif

        1. truthseeker6157 says:

“How would you have responded to him returning exactly as he described it happening after leaving under those circumstances?”

          “ Pork scratching?”

        2. Leigh says:

          Hi TS & Dani,
The story didn’t sit well with me. The way Mr. Tudor describes these guys, they sound like bottom feeders. Why are they in a posh bar then? The bottom feeders I know can’t afford to go to posh bars. The other thing that seemed odd was that they just walked up to the table and invited themselves. That seems unlikely to me but I guess it could happen if they’re brazen enough.

Dani, you asked me how I would’ve reacted if it was me. Well, since my ET would’ve been through the roof because I was with the Ultra, it would’ve solidified my ensnarement. I would’ve found it incredibly intoxicating that this man would’ve put himself on the line for me.

          1. HG Tudor says:

There are plenty of thugs with money.

          2. Leigh says:

Mr. Tudor says, “There are plenty of thugs with money.” That’s very true, Mr. Tudor.

Any chance these thugs with money are lieutenants of yours?

Hey, you can’t blame a girl for trying!

          3. Dani says:

Leigh, they were drunk…and not terribly bright…and more ill mannered (helped along by intoxication) than they were stupid.

I think your reaction is a common one for empaths, particularly one given the privilege of Mr. Tudor’s golden period. It sounded like Tabitha was already well secured. I wonder how the depth of the ensnarement…if a woman is still more in seduction, rather than completely embedded…how this as a solidification event would enhance attachment and possibly create a greater desire to hold on in the midst of devaluation. This all assumes that the victim is highly susceptible to this particular situation.

          4. truthseeker6157 says:

You cracked me up there Leigh.

Dani, I think if I truly believed I was at risk and I felt that this was the wrong group to fire off with sarcasm or charm, I’d definitely be drawn in closer. Firstly, I do like the feeling of being protected ( only on my terms though.) Secondly, I would be drawn to the physical confidence. Thirdly I’d find it a turn on. (Get on with it and take me to your cave.)

I’m a rubbish feminist. Must try harder.

          5. Leigh says:

            Hi TS,
I’ve been feeling a little spunky, lately!

“Take me to your cave.” – Now you have me laughing! It would been the same for me, lol!

          6. truthseeker6157 says:

            Leigh,

Same here, I’m feeling feisty too. Change of season probably. 😂

          7. HG Tudor says:

I thought it was more change of underwear, TS, that caused this reaction in you.

          8. “I thought it was more change of underwear TS, that caused this reaction in you.”

            Yours? Or mine?

          9. HG Tudor says:

Well I know you don’t wear any so….

          10. truthseeker6157 says:

I knew it! I knew I’d seen that bush move!

            (easy now, easy now, haha!)

          11. Dani says:

TS– would you follow Mr. Tudor to his narcmobile letting him take you to a narc cave? That license plate reads NARC1909. His signet ring says “psycho” inside the shape of a flame. Those icy blue eyes chill me to the core. Look at the charming, crooked grin, how it does not reach his eyes…clearly a philanderer who trifles with innocent feminine hearts…

          12. truthseeker6157 says:

            Dani,

It’s the signet ring there I think! I like a nice watch on a man, but a signet ring would be a deal breaker with or without inscription!

            Xx

          13. Dani says:

            Hi TS,
I wasn’t sure what type of watch to give Mr. Tudor…what watch would be best for one such as the Ultra? Leather band? Gold? Silver? Is it just a watch or is it more?

          14. Hi Dani,

A TAG Heuer would be appropriate ‘Designed to win.’

You could always have it modified.
In Live and Let Die, Bond’s Rolex Submariner had a built in magnet capable of deflecting bullets and undoing zippers. (Also appropriate!)

            Xx

          15. Dani says:

            TS!

I love your vision of the proper watch for Mr. Tudor. Makes me happy.

I can’t seem to even imagine him playing a more humble character. If there is a story of Mr. Tudor putting on a façade that included such…it would be utterly captivating to listen or read.

I like imagining Mr. Tudor in beautifully tailored suits…and walking with grace and confidence. *Sighs*…

Please finish this one, sir. The anticipation…I have heard Part 2. This is…oh sir, I did not expect something like this.

  3. Jordyguin says:

The Narcissist and “Thirst Traps” is such an appreciated video and topic, HG! I’ve been struggling with this as it was expected to accept that a confident woman must be comfortable with selling the illusion of “thirst traps” because it’s part of the empowerment, sensuality and femininity and part of the program to achieve relevance by making sure to underline your physical greatness at least in a semi nudity approach now and then, to make sure to simulate a need for validation based on a sensual appearance, to evoke desire in men and women in order to achieve the saleable status and numbers. If you’re desirable you’re saleable and a product we can work with. It’s so easy, just do it.
    No.
My truth is – feminine sensuality is sacred and should be reserved for her knight who knows how to defend that which is sacred instead of supporting a sell out of her sensuality turning it into a mundane act of everyday profit.
Your incredibly accurate video touched upon ALL the important aspects of the problem. My hero, thank you!

    1. Arya0901 says:

      Hello Jordyguin,
But what if “her knight” later on turns out to be a narcissist? So at the end, she wasted her beauty and youth on someone who is a complete jerk. Idk, where is the balance here, I believe it’s shifting over last decades. The concept of shame is fading.

If talking about OF. It’s a very deceiving thing, this OF, in my opinion. On one hand, it’s a safe, you can’t get physically abused or get STD. Some women even say, once they registered there, it boosts their confidence and they feel more attractive. On the other hand, as I see it, once you overcome your inner resistance (for non narc females), this activity becomes addictive. You want this attention, validation and extra financial profit (could be even a main income). OF is very competitive environment, and it’s getting worse. So to keep your fans interested and attract new ones, you have to push your boundaries more and more. At some point, there is a risk, that your self esteem might hit a real bottom, when you are desperately offering yourself to anyone/do anything just to fight a competition. Only narcissist can do it without feeling anything. Some models are successful there, so they choose who they interact with, but not all are so “lucky”. There are a lot of old, ugly, disgusting drooling men out there. I can somewhat understand if a woman is a single mother, left by her husband and has no means, decides to go for OF. You can do it from home. Main thing is not to get sucked by it and leave, when your financial status gets better. Though my understanding only a few leaves that place permanently. It’s “easy” money, with invisible cost to pay.
Anyway, the real question though is why men (at least some) think that out of the blue sending his little friend in an erected state is a turn on for a woman? And they also expect some “wow” reaction. Maybe someone should open their eyes on that.

      1. Jordyguin says:

Hi Ary! If her knight turns out to be a narcissist, then she’s in big trouble. I totally agree with you. And you made me laugh with your last sentences. I have no idea why men believe that? We must ask a man. And I hope you’re not thinking of trying OF?! Не вздумай мне, солнце!

      2. alexissmith2016 says:

Haha love that Arya. Why do they? I think because men in general are visually stimulated, the female body designed for visual stimulation. Women on the whole are not visually stimulated by the male form, I believe even straight women are also more stimulated by the female form. Men then falsely believe that women are visually stimulated in the same way they are and it appeals to their ego to believe that, when really, we’re just pandering to them and simultaneously sniggering in our sleeves.
