Revenge

H.G Tudor - Revenge e-book cover

You will never secure revenge over a narcissist unless you understand how the narcissist thinks and behaves.

You will never secure revenge over a narcissist when you are blinded by emotional thinking.

When victims believe they have obtained revenge, they will invariably have fallen onto The Devil´s Pitchfork and failed. Avoid that fate, by reading the work of the expert.

Revenge is a dish best served by HG Tudor.

I believe Revenge is HG’s raison d’être. It’s more important to him than anything else.

He tolerates an imbalance because he knows it *will* be rectified. While deferral could be an option (though I imagine he’s already established an optimum timeline) ‘never’ would significantly change his situation and would not be tolerable.

      Hi annaamel,
I do not believe that revenge is more important to HG than anything else, because revenge is a purely reactive force. It is not an act which takes place independently of other people’s doings. It requires an initial action by somebody else, an initial outside force that sets events in motion and determines the direction of travel. In many ways revenge is a defensive move, not that playing defense would in any way be alien to him. He likes to get his retaliation in first, which is at base a preemptive strike against an expected act by another. Nevertheless, it is still the second move, even if the first one has not happened yet. While he does make liberal use of it and no doubt enjoys taking his revenge, to me, being the one who takes the second move is not who HG is at heart.

        Hi Anna.

When I said revenge is his raison d’être I was referring to the revenge within his Grand Design only. Not revenge more generally. In the GD he’s avenging acts which have already taken place.

This need you have to mete out revenge against a transgressor years later reminds me of the Harry Potter/Voldemort prophecy, the one that says only one of them can survive. In actual fact we see that both of them have been surviving just fine for many years, it is even the case that they have both grown stronger without any accompanying deleterious effects on the other. So to claim that only one can survive is patently untrue, this prophecy is clearly bogus.
When you plot and plan against a transgressor to get back at them, HG, one might say there are similarities. You feel there is an imbalance, an injustice. That is completely understandable, and in the cases you have talked about there are indeed enormous imbalances, there is a gigantic injustice. But in the time you have been making preparations for the Grand Design, or any other revenge plans, this imbalance has been persisting without any substantial change and without making your life hell, has it not? You have been very much able to bear this state of affairs for many years. It might niggle and cause you to plot against them, but that could go on indefinitely. You have been able to bear it for all this time. You have been living with this lack of control for years, for decades, and not just living in the sense of existing but thriving in so many ways.
You have tolerated the imbalance for so long, you can decide to keep on tolerating it for far longer. This is one of your strengths. You are the one in control here, unlike them you do not always have to jump into action reflexively the moment an injustice occurs against you. You can choose to defer your revenge to a later date. That means you CAN live with this control deficit, for however long you decide. You do not have to like it, but you can do it. You ARE doing it now. Should you decide to turn “later” into “never”, it would not bring you down. It would not change your situation. Granted, you would not have the satisfaction of revenge, but you do not have that now either, while you have parked your revenge.
